Everyone know grandmas are grey-haired, cane-toting creatures who stand at about 4'9, love Worther's Originals and orthopedic shoes and say things like "When I was your age, soda cost a nickel." Right?
Wrong. Turns out, granny's got a brand new bag! And according to Ann Archer (who plays snooty grandma-from-hell on the new show Privileged) these days grannies are all about Rev. Run.
"My favorite show to watch at night, before I go to sleep, is Run's House," Archer tells the Philadelphia Daily News. "I love him! And I love his family. I laugh out loud, and I think it has a really positive message. [Most reality shows] are about dishing and destroying . . . and this guy's an amazing father and member of his family and totally hip."
Also hip? Grandmas who like Rev. Run! Guess that means we'd better stock up on Metamucil before tonight's weekly Run's House party. Then, all we have to do is convince grandpa to start watching From G's to Gents and we'll be all set! (Bonus: Both he and the G's are all about newsboy caps and argyle socks!)
