What a long, strange season it’s been! After months of watching the girls put their blondest foot forward, it’s finally time to congratulate Bailey on her much-deserved win! And since everybody loves closure, I figured I’d find out what all of the pink ladies have been doing post-Legally Blonde.
Check out what Bailey, Emma, Cassie O., Lindsey, Celina, Natalie and Autumn had to say for themselves — and what they said about everybody else.
First up: EMMA

Anything you want to set the record straight about?
I’d like to set the record straight about people thinking I’m stuck-up or arrogant. This is such a tough business and if you aren’t confident, you’ll never last. Also, what I said in my last interview about Rhiannon, Bailey and Lauren being ‘little girls’ was said during a really stressful time — I was frustrated and lashed out with something I didn’t mean.
Tell us something we don’t know about you from watching the show.
I’m not always so serious! We were all a lot more goofy on the show but you don’t see those parts! I’m actually quite funny…or so I think!
What have you been up to since we last saw you?
I have moved to a new apartment and worked towards (finally!) getting a new agent! Now, I’m auditioning and trying to get work so that I can stop bartending!
Any gripes, amazing anecdotes or funny stories you’d like to share?
also have one anecdote- Bailey and I were riding in a cab together on our way to Brooklyn (where we danced on cobblestones) and as we were passing through Chinatown, she remarked on all the Chinese writing. I said, “Yeah, we are going through Chinatown” and she said, “Oh my Gawd, it’s just like we’re JAPAN!” Ya gotta love her!!
Next up: AUTUMN

What have you been up to since we last saw you?
Since the show, I’ve been catching up with friends and family, my boyfriend got me a PUPPY(!!!) and I’ve been doing some readings here in the city, taking classes and just generally concentrating on being happy and busy. You haven’t heard the last from me!! I’ve got lots of great things going on and will post all my upcoming projects on my website (and I’m creating a MySpace for my music soon!) I am truly blessed and am a very lucky girl!
Are you still (legally) blonde?
Haha! No…I am a feisty redhead at heart. My hair was TOTALLY fried, however, so I am working my way slowly back to red and i chopped off my dead, nasty locks. I am now going through the “growing it out phase.” Ugh. Hahaha! Whoever wins Elle wears a wig in the show, so there was no need to stay bleached blonde.
Who did you think was your toughest competition
My toughest competition was… MYSELF!!! I stepped on my own toes. I lost my confidence and was so petrified of the auditions I forgot to just relax and PERFORM…I compared my worst qualities to everyone else’s best qualities. I should have just reminded myself of my strengths and had more FUN!!!
Were you surprised by who won?
Not at all, actually…Bailey gave consistent, solid auditions and the girl IS Elle Woods!!! (I mean, she even has a pink bug!!!! Haha!) It will be a pleasure to work with her and watch her grow and settle into the role on Broadway. What an amazing story… never rode a plane, never lived away from home, never even seen a Broadway show… it must’ve been destiny. Bailey will be stunning on her opening night, I’ve no doubt!!!
Next up: CELINA

Tell us something we don’t know about you from watching the show.
I am a natural BLONDE!!!
What have you been up to since we last saw you?
I’ve been in the recording studio with my band. I am in rehearsals for a new show called “Green Eyes” that is being performed at the NYC Fringe festival. I am also in talks about being the rock singer for a show called Revolution. Other than work, I am doing a number of personal projects such as writing a new musical and a book about my life (so far).
Any regrets? What, if anything, would you have done differently?
I don’t have any regrets…I just wanted to be me as much as possible. But the one thing I might have done a little differently (now that I’ve seen the show air) is wear make-up at all times.
If you could give Bailey one piece of advice before her big debut, what would it be?
Well, I can give Bailey advice — cause she is now my roommate and I love living with her! We didn’t bond too much in the house, but now I love her to pieces. She’s a great girl and will be a wonderful Elle! My advice to her (and I’ve probably already told her this) is to be strong and love every minute.
Next up: NATALIE

Were you surprised that Bailey won? Who did you think was your toughest competition?
I wasn’t surprised at all! When we moved into the house I took one look at her and thought “She is totally going to win.” I am beyond excited for her. She is the REAL Elle Woods, no joke. I can’t think of anyone more perfect or more deserving of the role.
What have you been up to since we last saw you?
Since the show I’ve been very busy. I traveled back and forth from L.A. to New York for a while but I ultimately decided to stay in L.A. and pursue TV and film. That doesn’t mean that Broadway isn’t in my future, though — I’m going to keep working hard to achieve that goal. For now, I think it’s important for me to stay open and see what opportunities come my way. In the meantime, I’m still paying my dues. Working in a restaurant and auditioning like crazy. Living the life!
Any gripes, amazing anecdotes or funny stories you want to share?
I love to make people laugh and I sincerely wish MTV would put together a montage of all the dumb things I did. Like when I slipped and fell on my butt. Or when I snorted an omelet up my nose by accident. Or when I came out in a unitard that was completely see-through and I didn’t know it. Or when I was making inappropriate jokes with Andy Karl on our “date.” Sadly, I think those moments are forever lost on the cutting room floor. Unless you have a way to dig them up…
After the jump: Cassie O., Lindsey and, of course, Bailey herself!
