MTV's Buzzworthy blog reported on Monday that Idol runner-up Blake Lewis had been unceremoniously dropped by his label, Arista Records. That information, I regret to inform you, is wrong. After speaking with Lewis backstage at his NYC show Tuesday night, the official word from the man himself is that, "No, I was not dropped from Arista -- my contract ended." So glad we're able to clear that one up.
Lewis will continue to work with 19 Recordings and start touring in a few months.
