When Bruce Jenner was racking up Olympic gold medals, I wonder if he saw his career peaking again, 20 years later, by breeding a family of reality TV stars. On E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bruce plays overprotective step-father to underdressed Kim and her other K-named siblings. Bruce’s son, Brody Jenner, who makes his weekly rounds on The Hills, occasionally stops by dad’s pad for some more camera time, but the latest rumor is that MTV is in discussions with Brody about making him the center of it all. Though no projects have been confirmed yet by the network, one whispered-about premise is that of Bromance, a look at Jenner’s heterosexual man love with friends like Frankie Delgado, to be produced by notorious metrosexual, Ryan Seacrest. Sounds OK, but here’s my pitch: Bruce has 6 weeks to train Brody to be an athlete, prying him away from the flashy club scene and pumping him up with nothing but Gatorade and motivational sports speak. Brody ultimately learns that being a ladies man means nothing if you throw like a girl. My title? Player Meets Playa. C’mon, if Farmer Wants a Wife got greenlighted, anything is possible.
