Project Runway’s Christian Siriano Defends His ‘Hills’ Dis

Recently, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano made big news when he let loose a little Hills dis. The sassy seamstress voiced some distaste with Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad’s clothing collections, thus causing quite a stir amongst the religious celebrity right. Christian dropped by the office yesterday to meet about hosting MTV.com’s Red Carpet Fashion Review at this summer’s MTV Movie Awards, and I was able to pull him aside for some pointed questions (specifically, what will he say to LC and Heidi when he sees them there?). Watch the video to hear him elaborate on his prior Hills infraction, and swing back here tomorrow for a our Hills fashion exclusive, in which Christian (aka. Ferocia Coutura) critiques the cast’s individual style. Hint: Brody Jenner gets rave reviews.

"um, so is H&M, which is WAY CUTER!" i love that! it's so true. don't get me wrong, i loved Laguna Beach & i'd die mithout my hills fix, but come on. the forever21/hollister crowd (like myself) doesn't really shop for (nor can we afford) quality, couture, garments. as long as the dress looks cute with flipflops &/or wedge heels, we'll rock it!

I defend lauren's line it has a simple and chic aesthetic not everything has to be over the top... and it definetly is a differeent market!!! its like you wouldnt compare ella moss, splendid, la rok, for example with balenciaga, chanel or mcqueen.

Ps. I do love sirianos work, there is no doubt hes talented, but he should leave the claws out and focus on his own work, which stands by its own.

I think that Christian is designing for a different market then Lauren. I can only wish that I was young enough and small enough to get away with wearing Lauren's line. I don't think I'll ever have enough money to wear Christian's line but don't care for much of what he's designed so no worries there.

I total argee with Christian. I am sooooooo sick of seeing these so called "Celebs" having there own clothing line. Some of which they don't even really design the line they just put there names on it and say they designed it.
Granted Lauren actually went to design school but her line looks like exactly like Forever 21. One of her dresses I saw I actually have the same dress from Forever 21!
I think enough is enough. I actually went to design school and work in the industry as a designer and I know how things work. Most "Celebirties" Don't even design the clothes.

I am so over these famous for nothing people!
