While it's not a big surprise to see Heidi Montag gracing the cover of the latest Us Weekly, it is a bit shocking to see her alongside LC, with the title, "The Plot to Destroy Lauren." Oh my, things are really getting intense between these two. There was one point where I think we all figured they would eventually hug it out, but it's now become apparent that forgiveness is a long ways off... like, light years. Some highlight's from inside the mag include:
Spencer and Stephanie no longer speak to one another -- at all. "It's done," Spencer said about his relationship with his sis. Stephanie is still hopeful: "People don't understand, but we have the same personality. He's a really good guy." Not so sure that's a tightly sealed argument, considering Spencer and Heidi's latest talk show run, which served to resurrect the LC/Jason sex tape rumor, and subsequently, put Lauren in tears day in and day out. A Conrad pal told Us, "Lauren has been devastated by this... She has no idea why Heidi and Spencer continue to hurt her." Considering that Heidi's been telling press that she prays for Lauren, it seems each party has a different definition of "hurtful." For Heidi's part, she says the only way LC could undo the damage is to confess to the sex tape, and "apologize for lying to Hills fans, to the American public, to the world." I won't hold my breath for that -- and something tells me the orphans in Malawi won't be doing so either.
