On Wednesday’s all-new episode of the Real World: Hollywood, Joey’s partying continues to spiral out of control and the roommates are left to question their safety. What could he have possibly done to earn a comparison to Columbine? Keep in mind this is Kim talking…

I think kim is close minded. She makes everything bigger than it needs to be. She starts problems and wars between many in the house. It is nice that they want to handle the situation in the house, that is good but if it gets any worse then they will have to get outside help. I think that if everyone just put a little more effort into helping Joey then they could make it better for him. They should not go drinking in front of him because that is not going to help. Everyone should be helping him and lending him a hand.

I think that Joey does have issues but as far as the type of person he is isn’t a reason to judge him. I think that when joey tells them he doesn’t want to drink they should respect his decisions! Now as far as him flying off the handle as bad as he does it would scare people! More than likely i don’t see him as being well liked in the house if he keeps the way he is going! I like him personally hes a funny cool driven guy! As far as his choice of girls i wouldn’t have gone after Breanna i would have gone after Sarah! I think Joey does need help and it doesn’t help that everyone talks behind his back instead of too his face! And if breanna doesn’t like Joey in that way she needs to be straight forward with him instead of playing mind games with him!!! Like she has been!

Kim is weird and needs to go home. It seems like its all about her and thats it its not fair to judge joey that fast.

in my oppinion i think that Kim is very self centered and really doesn’t care about her other roomates…and originally she was one of my favorites but i think that Sarah has had an effect on her….and i think that’s why she is the way she is….right now joey needs all the help and support that he can get..and i think that some of the roomates are willing to help others and as for the one’s that don’t they shouldn’t even be on the show or they need to stop being so selfish…

Kim is very ignorant. Obviously everone else can see that Joey is going through personal problems and needs his roommates to be there for him. She’s 2-faced and a snob, I don’t like her. I can’t stand people who would rather walk away from someone who needs help instead of helping them.

Can you say hypocrite? Like I said before Joey is a person in obvious need of constant baby sat attention, and rehab is the place. Im watching him right now and observing how completely unruly he is. He says he isn’t going to drink because he was an alcoholic but kills a full bottle of wine the very same night, you people can say I shouldn’t judge him and that I’m an %@$?$#* for doing so, but this man is an attention addict in addition to an alcoholic. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem with alcoholics or crazy people, but there is a problem when you know you have a problem and still do nothing to try and change or make yourself better, Joey can’t claim ignorance here. He is flipping out over nothing at all!!!! My question is for all of those who feel like Joey is a strong and beautiful person who is going through a tough time in his life, ask yourselves this; Could you live in a house with Joey or a person like Joey? Joey like I said before you probably are a nice person, but unfortunately the bad things are what people remember about us more than the good things sometimes, so get yourself some help, and allow people to help you. And thats real.

wishes joey the best of luck!!!!! but is will be a little hard for him to return back with his roomates!!!! if he wants to remain sober!! i m not saying that those people are bad, because they are not!! but if and when he goes back, if they are drinking in from of him, it is a difficult situation, to be put in!!! temptation is a **#$@!!! i m an addict, and i have to stay away from old people, places and things!!! it is hard, but if u wanna get clean or sober, u will go any lenghts to stay clean!!! so if going back to the house will jeperdize his recovery in any way, please don’t go back!!! i know that this is a once in a life time opportunity!!! but if u wanna stay clean u gotta do, what u gotta do!!!! i just wish him the best of luck, and if he decides to go back to the house, i hope that the roomates will help him to deal with this and respect him for what he is doing!!!!!!so good luck and god bless u all!!!!!!! ps if he does stay, make meetings!! there are meeting all over the united states!!!!

that joey’s a #@$% punk. What kind of man threatens girls saying he’ll knock them out he needs to try it with a real man!

True Joey does have a problem with alcohol, he was totally out of line to fly off the handle in the way he did. I know someone who battled alcoholism, it’s a very hard thing to deal with. Especially going on Real World where partying is a huge part of life. Kim is going to be trouble she is going to start things over and over again. Joey, I hope that this rehab works for you, and that you can fight it.

Jeez, this was such a sad episode. It isn’t easy kicking a disease like alcoholism, particularly when you’ve had such a rough life.
On the bright side, I got to see what a stand up guy Dave is. Joey has found a true friend there. Someone who won’t judge him and who cares despite the fact that he even placed him in a pretty threatening situation.
Kim and Sarah really just showed their age. If they don’t want America judging them, then they really need to lay off the judgements themselves because they are looking reeeaaal simple and insincere right about now.

I cannot understand how people can accuse Sarah and Kim of wrong in this situation. I totally agree that Kim is close minded and ignorant, but living with a drunken maniac who threatens to knock you out with one punch would scare the majority of women. As Dave stated during the episode, Joey gets drunk, then beats himself the next morning. He asks for help from the roommates, then says he does not want to be babysat. No roommate can be blamed but Joey, he is an alcoholic with many mental issues. Hopefully he can come out a rehab with a plan for NEVER drinking again.
Before judging the girls, put yourself in house with a guy twice your size beating on the walls…

You guys are all saying the same exact things you realize how dumb that looks. Nobody really likes to be judged but I don’t think Kim is that bad and she said that Joey had problems which he obviously does. She was right. But hes awesome and now the show really might be boring now that you all hate Kim. We were all thinking here that he might be acting!, cause he said he wanted to be in actor. That would have been so crazy if he was like psych!, but no, no. Kims just from a real white family, dont hate. little harmless blonde girl.

i meant and because joey is gone* it might not be as exciting*

i LOOOOVE how Kim wants to sit here and talk about trying to fix things with Joey and put him in rehab. Although i agree, i think that shes just scared for her life and lacks to see the bigger picture, like comments like “columbine?”….ugh. shes stupid. anyways, i think that ALL the roomates are at fault, because they sit there and let him drink, or think that ONE drink is ok. you dont do that with an alcoholic. when you meet an ex-alcoholic, they dont say, “i’ve been sober for 3 years, only one drink per night.” they say, “i’ve been sober for 3 years.” which means NO DRINKING. so what part of he does NOT need to drink at ALL dont they understand. so stupid for handicapping his issues. but i respect the producers of the “real world” for offering to Joey what he really needs. Its to bad that in the REAL real world, we dont have producers behind-the-scenes to pay for, and suggest rehab for everyone out there who needs it. maybe now that hes in rehab, the roomates can learn to be a better support system.

i think that he does have a kinda big problem yet it seems like theres only 1 person trying to help yet not one person wants him to leave come on people try a little bit harder and stop with the innosent act u know he wouldnt hurt u

I love Joey! If Brianna would have been there, I don’t think that ever would have taken place. Joey was already upset because 1. Brianna was gone and they really didn’t get a chance to talk before she left, and 2. with what the girls said before he left the house. I think that’s why he started drinking heavily. It’s great he’s going to get re-hab. I hope he recovers and the household is supportive of recovery (going out and doing other things besides drinking and partying).

Either Joey is truly a mess or he’s acting. The first episode he said he was coming to L.A. to be an actor. If he’s acting, he’s wasting his time, if he’s not, he’s wasting ours. He knows he has a problem with alcohol and he has said in big speeches that he’s not going to go out, etc. But then he goes out and drinks. When Dave tries to keep an eye on him, he comments that he doesn’t like to be babysat. I’m sure Dave doesn’t like having to babysit a 24 year old man either. It’s fun to party, but it’s not fun when one of the partiers is an alky, who rages after drinking too much and then is an arrogant jerk the next morning or is all apologies and tears. That would be the last time I party with him. I agree with some of the posters, Joey is an attention whore. When he doesn’t get it, he drinks, becomes obnoxious and finds an excuse as to why he did it. He likes to say he’s not making excuses for his behavior while he’s making excuses for his behavior. How it’s being in the house, or Brianna, or what the other girls say that is making him drink. He needs to grow up and take responsibility for his behavior and stop doing the things that make him act like a jerk. His beating himself up the next day does nothing. Just stop drinking if you can’t hang. That will be good enough.

i dont think that kim is as bad as everyone makes her seem. i think she is really trying to help joey but doesnt know the right way of doing it. she doesnt know how to handle joey’s addiction in the right way but im glad he is getting help and getting rehab to help him. i think everyone needs to just realize thats kims personality and how she was raised. i think she should stay because it wiht help her learn how to deal with bri strippping and joeys addiction.

Joey sucks…what a muscle-head loser! Where did MTV conduct castings? Strip clubs and halfway houses?
May 12th, 2008 at 11:05 pm
Part of Kim’s ignorance should be blamed on the way she was raised, PART OF IT.I was raised the same way but the ignorance cycle has to be stopped somewhere, I would never want my children to grow up backwoods rednecks.I am just saying at some point she needs to educate herself, racism has to stop somewhere. She needs to be taken and dropped in a real ghetto where I was raised so she would really understand the meaning of wors before they come out of her mouth.
