Weaknesses: “Unique style” and “emotional performances” sometimes cause discomfort

I agree with Suzy 100% Jesse is too stuck on himself it’s annoying and ruins his performance. I’m going with Chloe too I love her voice and style. Love you Chloe and she’s so humble and really is shocked to be picked by her fans. Don’t be sweetheart you are excellent!

I guess some of you don’t know this but Jesse DOES write and perform his own songs. He actually has a band called Baptized by fire and they are really good. In terms of showmanship and/or musical talent, I am not surprised that both Crosby and Jesse are in the finals. I am quite surprised that Chloe has lasted. Nevertheless, these are all YOUNG people with ambition who have been making their own music for the last few years without any national exposure. They have all been growing in talent and confidence and this show has undoubtedly helped them. I see this as a beginning–far from an end result and can see that any of the contestants, finalists especially, have great potential. I find confidence very attractive in a person and I guess that’s a big thing that turns me off about Chloe. I don’t mind that Jesse seems cocky–I was married to a rock musician for a long time and knew that he needed to project that in public. I would love to see all of the kids (booted out ones, too) back in a year for another perspective.

I said this on another post, but I’m truly upset that Lucy Walsh was voted off! A few people have said this and, I totally agree, that this show has nothing to do with talent. It’s all a popularity contest! If talent was the true measure of this show, Jesse Money would have made it thru the 1st round and Akeeba would have been one of the top five, in addition to Lara, Lucy Crosby and Jesse. No one would even be discussing Chloe, because she’d be home whining about some “unfair” comment a judge had said to her. She would have been off the show after the TERRIBLE perfomance from week one. It sounded like really bad karaoke! Please. She has some of her mom’s looks, but not much else to offer. Her mother was a great singer in her day, but sorry folks, the apple fell pretty far from the tree in this case. The girl can’t sing well and is a HUGE drama queen. Haven’t we already heard something like this..like Paris or Lindsay?? Do we really need to have another one?
Lucy Walsh is an actual musician with true talent, as is Lara Johnston. Those 2 are what this show was supposed to be about, proof that talent can be passed to the next generation. They both went out with class and with knockout performances! They actaully sang on key, didn’t lay on the floor or throw in an unnecessary heavy vibrato, and both walked out with their heads held high. That is what a true professional does. They both know they were better than what the votes showed, but didn’t act like crybabies when the results came down. I seem to recall someone throwing a crying fit because she had to “sing” Britney Spears. Lucy was especially classy, because she knew she deserved to be in the top 3. Instead of whining and crying about it, she made sure to thank her fans and threw her support behind Jesse Blaze. Pretty cool of her to do that! I was already impressed by her talent, but she came off as a really cool chick! She’s got a fan in me! Lara is going to be big someday. That girl has a HUGE voice, she just needs time and experience on stage.

I just watched Lara singing “Drown in My Own Tears” on youtube…dang…
they should have let her pick her own songs.She should have won-People felt sorry for some of the competition.I wont say who,but one of them was in severe anaphylactic shock it appeared.Looked like they got in arguement with a hornets nest.Ouch,it was painful to watch(and to listen).You could see they were holding back tears of pain,or maybe guilt.

Jesse has to win; his style and performance is so remarkable. He is SO HOT and looks like he enjoys being on stage. The way he performs now; if he has the right band members, they would all kick ass in front of an audience.
Chloe’s Mom has an awesome voice, it’s too bad that she did not inherit it. Her voice is scary; almost like wanna be be opera.
I would love to see Rock N Roll back with Jesse in it.

Pros and cons:
If Crosby wins or loses…it’s the same neutral excitment…no tempeture change, show over, Yawn!
If Jesse wins, it’s just more boring grandstanding…BUT if he looses it’s all about sore losers and his father will come undone.
If Chloe loses, we just see her cry again….So the trick is to let Chloe win…it’s all the fun of of her winning a goth beauty paegent and with all the other losers back for the finale, Jesse will freak, fun to watch
, Lucy will go postal and the others will feel sweet revenge.
And really, inevitable, every Olivia Newton-John tv production has a happy ending!

i will make this fast! i think chloe is awsome! i like her style of singing. crosby is awsome too! he will go far with or with out the show, he was born to sing. jesse is an ass. the only real thing hes got is the women out there.they all think hes hot. dont get me wrong he ishot but hes not all that!! he will be kinda just like his dadtoo , what i mean is his one time hit wont make it as “BIG” as his dads did. LUCY SUCKED THE WHOLE SHOW PPL!!!

I know this Chole is my pic shes unique not a replica of anything else. She has an amazing voice and a story to tell. I liked lucy too but she was mimicking someone else she made her voice do this weird talking sound. I like Crosby as well….Jesse is funny and he rocks but again nothing original there….And people stop being so dang on mean on here!!!

I love her unique style of singing. I would def go out and buy her album if I could, I hope she does get the contract. I can’t say I would do the same for Jesse or any of the others, they sound like everyone else out there in the main stream and I might like to watch them perform but to listen to them on my radio/i-pod, not likely.

I’d hoping Chloe wins! I like her unique style Wheras most people on these type of shows tend to sing songs as closely to the original as possible Chloe puts her own spin onto everything, its not just like she is singing cover versions
Chloe might not be getting the highest scores each week from the judges but to me scores are a bit irrelevant when its related to something artistic like music. Its not about how technically good something is but the emotion behind it. I also wonder what type of scores the great musicians would get if you threw them into a competition like this
Another reason I like Chloe is she’s an intriguing character outside the music

I judge a person not only by their talent, but by their potential to become greater. Also, by their character. Nobody can force Jessie to say the things he did no matter how the editors cut the film. His dads just trying to clean up after his mess. He is a spoiled brat and people want to ignore that because they want to like him. he’s mean, he’s a bully, him and Lucy are those rich white kids that pick on all the unpopular kids. Don’t fall for that crap. Crosby is a nice guy, who hasn’t insulted anyone. But, his talent is at its peak and I don’t want to buy his album. I want to see Chloe get some lessons and come out with a fabulous album. The girl has potential and she’s like the rest of us outcasts. Chloe is one of us! Rise against the rich brats and vote for Chloe!
BTW, I hated this show making money off others fame and listening to these rich brats whine. I only watched it for the one beautiful original person, Chloe and I hope she goes all the way to prove what a true “artist” is!

I have been disappointed from the very beginning of this show by the fact that Chloe was not the first person to go home. And I have watched and been frustrated every time she continued to make the cut while someone with more talent went home. Chloe DOES NOT have a good voice, and she does not have a style that can make her a star. She may end up with a small niche market, but she could never fill a stadium. And she seems far too emotionally fragile to stay in the business for long without having a meltdown. Crosby could make it, if he could get over himself and relax. Jesse, on the other hand, has the potential to be a mega-star with very little work. He has the confidence and strenth of personality he would need to go on the road. And Dee Snider is an extremely intelligent man who went to bat for the music he and others made in the 80’s. Those of you in your teens might need to do a little research and get a little perspective. Please, get over the big lips and fish nets. Jesse is the only one this show who consistently ROCKS.

Chloe is the best performer of these three. People are writing that she’s off key but she’s really not. I believe that her pitch and vocal range is so unique… maybe people are having a hard time grasping it. It’s all about personal taste in music. She is definately the most talented one up there, performing her own version of the songs. She really makes it look and sound like true art.
Good job Chloe! Your a real renaissance woman. I’ll buy your first album, promise. Good luck next week!
P.S. Lucy can’t sing. She always sounded like she was making fun of the songs with her weird whining draw at the end of her syllables. Was that an impersenator who showed up in the audience to double as her dad on the second show? Kinda sad…
