After tonight’s double elimination, three kids are left to perform in the finale next week. Who will win the Cradle crown? The vote is in your hands — take your pick between:
Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider
Strengths: Solid vocals, half-naked backflips, good hair
Weaknesses: Style doesn’t translate to the new millennium
Crosby Loggins, son of Kenny Loggins
Strengths: Plays an instrument, and well
Weaknesses: Doesn’t dance or remove clothing
Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of Olivia Newton-John
Strengths: Unique style and emotional performances
Weaknesses: “Unique style” and “emotional performances” sometimes cause discomfort
Jesee"s like his Dad, a 1-trick pony who has little vocal range, but will probably produce a hit & fade away. A Rocker needs to produce a hit ballad to make it big. Didn't see that.
Crosby writes his own music & has a CD out entitled "We All Go Home", with his band "The Light". Straight from his mouth, following a concert I went to see where he was the opening act for Joe Bonamassa , a superb Ryhtmn & Blues guitarist, he has gone OUT OF HIS WAY not to get his fathers help to kick in doors in the music biz. That's why Kenny Loggins has'nt appeared till recently. Crosby insists he'll "do or die" on his own.
Of the three finalists, Crosby Loggins has the most overall musical skills & widest vocal range.
As far as his performance goes, I would vote for him if this was a gymnist competition. Entertaining yes, but real musical talent???
I'm going with Chole, I love here dark ,gothic style, and her voice. She is original.
Chloe is visual, artistic and different - moreso NOT AFRAID to be differnt and original. She got shuvved a Britney tune and actaully made it enjoyable. She should have been rated on that because she proved /passed the test - jump out of a flying plane and she succeeded. I can't believe that I enjoyed a Briteny song!!!
Her 2nd song was OK.
Jesse prides himself on showmanship, but U are right, - he's as good w/ or w/out the MUTE button on. It would be fun to see if he writes and performs his OWN tunes - I think he'd lose alot of fans as peeps would wake up and realize it is not all about trying to be a teen pin up.
Loggins - seems sweet, but yawn-o-rama. too "coffee house"

Look how nice Lara was when she didn't make the finals - she was a sweet, gracious human being UNLIKE Lucey.
The three that remain all have something different to offer but if it is artistry, emotion talent and passion ... then it is Chloe - hands down.

Jesse ' songs were nothing different than what he was used to, he got off easy w/ thejudges picks WHY it was nothing challenging?
Chloe is way unique, left feild, and is true to the core...don't care what you say, her voice is gorgeous and intriguing ...guess who i am voting for :-)
Chloe is the best and most original "artist" on the show, hands down! So what if she's dark. A lot of us like goth.
and in First Cut is the Deepest she sounded like an elderly cat getting its pancreas torn out.

Crosby seems genuine, and really does seem to have worked hard at his craft. I think I'll vote for him.
The winner without a doubt should be Jesse Snider...he is a true frontman and sings songs that "rock". Isnt that what the show is about? Lets bring rock back into music and move on from this pop/wanna-be music that is currentl out there!

As far as Crosby, I still think he is struggling with his stage prescence. He seems to be coming out of his shell but he doesn't look 100%comfortable when he's performing.
I still think Jesse is the overall best performer. It's not about being the greatest singer in the world, it's about having the complete package. It's about working the crowd. There are a lot of great singers, however if you don't have the stage prescence to back it up, hang up your mike.
The unfounded arrogance! Who is fueling him on? His parents? Let's be honest,but not mean, dad was only a gimmick act for a very short while inn the 80's or 90's (can't recall). Have he taught his son that this is what music is?
The judges should made him sing something out his "element". Instead they gave him another loud head banging selection that didn't test him, but looked like a repeat of all other shows.
I am sad to see little Lara go. Lucie was consistentaly whiney/nasaly and never got called to the table for it.
Chloe is unique and SO empassioned. I dig her voice. I wish she would not get so stressed. Her detractors should recall a time when Annie Lennox (and more like Chloe), Kate Bush, were also called freaks. Time has proven them to be true artists!
I hope her dad's tee pee has wireless, so he can rightfully vote for his amazing daughter !

jesse, jesse, jesse...i go back and forth with this one. he's an ass but that's his thing. he has a decent voice, even though the range isn't totally there...but then he did a punked out version of ring of fire...has no one ever heard the totally awesome SOCIAL DISTORTION version??? puh-lease.
and chloe...i'm voting for her BECAUSE she's a trainwreck...as is this whole show!!
Jesse is just trying to ride his fathers extremely short lived coat tails with his mama molding him into what she wants. He needs to get away from the apron strings, become his own man and get his own style, not imitating others.
You can see where I'm headed with this. I've been a fan of Kenny Loggins and when I heard that Crosby was making music, I checked it out, but with skepticism. I was very pleasantly surprised. He has his own style. It may not be "rock and roll" but it's his and it's good! He is the only one of the 3 who has been a "musician" since he was a child. He writes his own songs as well. Check out his CD. He has also repeatedly said that he wants to make his own music and not ride the coat tails of his father. I think he will be very successful. He's got my respect and my vote!
Miss Chloe is one unique, talented chicita. She tore the heck out of TOXIC just as she did with her own moodier choices before that. Her only minor "trip" was the first show/song. Thereafter, she's shown that she can create moods and feelings with whatever she sings.
I will vote for her and I don't think the Lennox /Bush reference was that far off. Just because she doesn't fit a "paint by numbers" expectation, doesn't meean she's not talented.
I want to see and hear more from her.

People, it is not the cure for cancer - it's a pop talent show. HOWEVER, Chloe Lattanzi seems like she'd make music I'd want to hear and I'd go see her perform in a club too.
-Chloe Lattanzi does not have a "unique" voice. She is just OFF-KEY!! Can I go on TV and sing off key to win a record deal?
-Crosby has real talent. He has a good voice, and can perform different genres.
I can't believe BOTH Lara and Lucy were voted off. This show is ridiculous. The winner should be the one with the most talent, not the one who can be the biggest show off or sex symbol (ie: taking off shirts & strapping guys to chairs).
I would have voted for Lara. Now I don't even want to watch this show anymore.
She deserves to win, but life isn't always fair and she'll find success with or without this show. Nonetheless, it's just a TV show to gain exposure.
I won't share any negative thoughts on the others, however I will say Lara was so sweet and I also thought Akibo,(sp)left too soon.
You can guess how I feel about the others, especially those "blondes" in need of colorists
