Another Double Elim to Come on ‘Rock the Cradle’

Tonight’s airing has been dubbed the “Do or Die Edition,” meaning the show’s almost over, folks. Next week a Cradle winner will be crowned. My prediction, based on tonight’s performances so far, is that it’s all gonna come down to a battle of the blondes: Jesse Blaze Snider vs. Lucy Walsh. As the “Untouchable,” Crosby’s automatically in, and I can only pray that Chloe makes it to the finale, but she’s got that whole dark mistress vibe working against her. Or for her? I forget what the judges are saying this week…

Regardless of what you think of her talent, ya gotta love little Chloe for letting us all inside — most recently, inside a teepee, next to her dad and a didgeridoo. Perhaps one of the sweetest/strangest father-daughter moments in history. Mark my words…

  1. I thought Crosby automatically made the finale?
I personally think that it will end up being Jesse and Lucy against him in the finale. I think Lara and Chole are going to be eliminated tonight. Jesse is a strong favorite, and Lucy just has an amazing voice.
I've liked Lara since the beginning, but what can you do?
As for Chole I don't think she stepped it up until this week. I loved her performance tonight, but isn't it kind of too little too late?
  2. It sucks that this show becomes a popularity contest w/c is way far from its original concept w/c is a REAL talent search... Let face it...Chloe really SUCKS!!! I hate everything about her... She destroy every great songs she sings...It sad that American public don't have a taste...Too bad....
  3. i am SOOOOOOOOO MAD lucy didnt make it to the end. she was the best by far along with crosby . jesse is a punk and chloe just sucks . crosby and lucy should have automatically gotten record deals!!!
  4. Chloe,,,,,I am sooo proud of you!

    You are the BEST!!!!!
  5. I find it hard to watch Chloe sit and talk like she has been in this business for years....' oh the artistry and the feelings and the blah blah blah'. She needs to stop with the deep angst and just smile and have fun. Oh and find another day job coz this one wont cut it for her.
    Take up art...........its silent!!!!!
  6. i was reading this & didnt get to watch the episode yet but whaaaaatt????? lucy got voted off?!?!?!?! she is amazing. especially her last performance. jesse is good, but thinks too much of himself. crosby is my second favorite next to lucy, and chloe....i thi nk she tries to hard. i think she could be good...but is not there yet.
  7. Chloe, Chloe, Chloe!!!!!!!
  8. Okay so apparently I was wrong about Chloe.
I just really don't like her. I honestly thought she should have been eliminated the first week when she was up against Jessie Money. I don't know who is voting for her, but she honestly butchers every song she sings. Except for tonight, I thought her performance of Toxic was her best.

Also, I am utterly shocked that Lucy got voted off. I mean COME ON. Larry said it right America was WRONG. I was going to throw some votes her way, but I do think everyone that was going to vote for her should send their votes over to Jesse.
I absolutely love Jesse, he pretty much has my heart right now. Yeah, he's a little into himself, but he kicks total ass every time he hits the stage. I think he is more-than-deserving of the record deal.
  9. How disgusting of Lucy to tell everyone to vote for Jesse! Sore loser, too cocky, she and Jesse should get together if they arent already!
  10. OMG !!!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE CHLOE IS IN THE FINALS AND LUCY GOT CUT. I PERSONALLY AM PULLING FOR JESSE I DON'T CARE HOW CUTE HE IS HE KICKS BUTT AND HAS MORE PERSONALITY THAN ANY OF THE OTHERS. THEY WERE ALL GOOD WITH THE EXCEPTION BEING CHLOE SHE SUCKED FROM DAY ONE AND NEVER IMPROVED.
  11. Jesse has been my favorite from the start though I'll admit I didn't care for his performance last week. It's a shame to see Lucy go. She has a great voice. I can't believe Chloe made it to the finals; it's an outrage!

The judges did a bad job picking a song for Lara (she didn't get enough votes and would've went home anyway). Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie does not fit her voice. Lara's voice has a much lower register than Fergie's. The higher notes really bring out the emotion that this song potrays, but it was not in Lara's range and she had to sing it lower. You don't make Barry White sing Frankie Valli, do you? It's not a knock on any singer's ability, the judges did not pick a song that suited her voice.
  12. I won't criticize Chloe for being dark, but I will continue to critize the sound quality of her voice. Larry mentioned her vibrato problems, but it is more than just the fluctuation of the pitch that is the real problem. The sound of her voice changes when she does this (sound quality, or timbre, is different than pitch). It sound almost like a different voice (one that sounds horrible)comes in.

I recommend that we all take Lucy's advice and vote for Jesse!
  13. CROSBY IS THE WAY TO VOTE!!!! The ONLY reason why Chloe is still in the game is bc if you go to her Mom's website there are tens of thousands of fans on it that are voting for Chloe bc of who her Mom is...its a freakin POPULARITY contest...
  14. I LOVE CLO RO LA!

There is so much to scratch under Chloe's surface! She wiped up the floor with 'Toxic' despite the dreaded association with Britney and showed she can work a stage and has the chops to sell a song.

I would of stopped watching this show long ago, but you just dont' know what Chloe will do next..and thats fun (M)tv!

Jesse's cliche despite his flips and hot body...I couldn't bear to hear him on a cd...only if you can watch him...and Crosby was better on his second number today and Lucy sang decent tonight to her credit, but her personality is a total turn off.
  15. We are so crushed that Lara is going home. What a popularity contest! Lara is so fresh and beautiful that she has plenty of time to ge more comfortable with her stye.

Lara - Ed, Max,Sam and I love you so much, you are beautiful and this is just the begining - great exposure!

  16. Okay so deal fools and friends-here's the reality-they all sucked at the beginning-each and every shirtless one of them. There has been some improvement, but none of these folks would have gotten past that American Idol's Simon dude. They blew worse than the Santa Anna's winds. Today Jesse is still in due to a great deal of showmanship (Snider'kid is like those post ritalin babies all grown up). Crosby is a talented musician but everytime he talks it's like Muzac to my ear. I've taken Viagra and haven't been as stiff as that guy is on stage. Chloe is a ball buster who ignites the most contemptous responses from the mouth foaming multitude who would much rather belittle her originality (and more than likely just a tad jealous). This cracks me up. Her vocals need to be harnessed bigtime (like a runaway steer). Kill the vibrato-the dramatic moments are flatter than Calista Flockhart. Find your tone women it is there. And to whomever suggested that the Mums the reason Chloe is still in-bite it-Olivia Newton-John is a blessing to the planet (the woman is an inspiration check out Grace and Gratitude sometime). Even should that be truein regards of voting-good on her mate. Chloe's performances may not have been consistant but check this out all of the judges have said they were fans. Certainly they get why she is still there. Oh and Olivia's fan base are old dudes, they don't stay up late enough to vote. So see ya Lucy -ya killed the Cindy Lauper song-your true colors certainly came out in the end. Lara you are a cutie pie-way too decent for the biz.
  17. i so totally agree with anotherguiness!! Chloe should have gone home such a long time ago! i was sad to see Lara go. it didnt surprise me one bit but doesnt mean i like it. i voted for her repeatedly. i like most figured it would be jesse, crosby, and lucy in the finale. if chloe walks away with this i will be dissapointed and disgusted. crosby for the win!!
  18. Chloe kicks ass even when she is kneeling or sitting down! Her voice and emotion is awesome and that is why she is still there. I'm voting Chloe again to win it all! She deserves this record deal for sure. And I'm not in any fan clubs, I just have great taste in music.
  19. Chloe should of went the 1st week. But I was fine after week 1 with her being there. But to make it into the final 3 is B******t. I don't know what some of the viewers been smokin' but Chloe should of went last night. Jesse, Lucy and Crosby should of been the final 3. But whatever If Chloe wins it doesn't matter as I'm gonna buy the records of my favorites and not hers. She is a studio musician and off-broadway singer at best. To end on a positive note I will say nice girl though. I loved the whole in a teepee with dad clip it was both strange and cool lol.
  20. Liking Chloe & Her Music Type Does NOT = Great Taste In Music. What it does equal is your own personal style music liking Warren. Thats cool though and I respect it.
  21. Lucy Walsh leaving??? I am still upset and in shock! Not only a true musician and talent, but a classy chick! I agree, this show has nothing to do with talent, but popularity! If talent was the true measure of this show, Chloe would have been watching last weeks' show at home! Her total annihilation of "Never Tear Us Apart", sounded like drunk Karaoke, yet, because she's "hot", she's still there. Forget knowing how to song. Jesse Money, Akeeba Burrell-Hammer and Lucy Walsh all have more talent in one finger than that girl has in her entire body! She didn't hit one note on key in either song! And, since when does "The First Cut is the Deepest" need a touch of Chloe doing that heavy vibrato scream note that she feels she must add to each song she destroys?? I used to really like that song, but now, I can't listen to it without terrible flashbacks!

Chloe is on the same level as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. They are cute and someone told them it would be a good idea to try to sing. Notice how well their albums sold? She'll cut one album that won't sell and fade away.
  22. I just watched Lara perform Drown In My Own Tears on You Tube. I'll always wonder, if Lara performed this rendition on the first night of "Rock The Cradle" whether the producers would have just announced her the winner, and canceled the rest of the show.
Born with huge natural talent and honed to near perfection... at the ripe old age of 17, she's quickly becoming the future of soul, rock and pop.
