Lucy called in special forces for this Thursday’s upcoming Rock the Cradle competition. Dad, Joe Walsh, is spending the day giving her guidance and making sure she’s completely prepared for what might be her most important performance to date. See what the judges had to say about her last week.

Lucy you sang great and played piano perfect!! A
perfect challenging superb strong vocal song to sing in dramatic theatrics on-stage is “BELIEVE” by Elton John! Lucy go read the message by Jonathan at the MTV Remote Control Blog>>Lucy Walsh tattles on Ashlee Simpson>> the comment(4).GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND JESSE SINGING TOGETHER!!!!!!!!

lucy is boring. I don’t care who her father is.
He can’t sell the records for her. Would I go see her in concert? No way. Yawn.

Sorry you think Lucy is boring. Not everyone does. Lucy comes from a long line of musical talent - she and her dad are both classically trained pianists, as was Joe’s mother, who played professionally. Sometimes, it really is all about the talent. That’s something that both she and Crosby have a ton of. I don’t see it so much in the others who are still in it.

I think Lucy is AWESOME! I really like all her songs… She has a unique voice and she is very talented! Keep on with the great work! Love it! Good Luck in Rock the Cradle and with your projects!

Lucy has the most talent oout of everyone one the show.I’ve been a fan since the begining. She is way better than Jesse who is too full of himself.

When Lucy was stripped down to just the piano, it showed she just doesn’t have a strong voice.
Jesse is the same, just a big show-hog. If it were just him and a guitar or something, it’d be MORE of a disaster.
Crosby and Chloe are the only really talented ones.

Is it really fair that contestants can have parents help them. It is important that they stive for success on their own.
Example, Chloe Lattanzi’s mother has been away on China. She had no help at all!
Really this is a competition of talent for theses kids and why are their parents involved.
I don’t get it!
Good for you Chloe,,,you rock!

I agree with Janet, Chole has been on her own, unfortunately I am not fond her style of music, I would like to see her perform some good old standards. Lucy needs a little bit more than the scary guy giving her vocal/piano lessons. Lara just can’t move. Crosby has it going on, the whole easy going thing. Don’t even know where to begin with Jesse BS, oops I mean Jesse Blaze Snider, that poor kid needs to venture out on a shopping spree without Mama and move off that tired rocker look. That’s all folks!

MTV is biased toward Lucy. They give her way more exposure than everyone else.

CHLOE SUCKS.

I think Lara has a beautiful and strong voice. I really enjoy watching her perform. She is so talented and seems so normal. She will go far no matter what.

Lucy, we enjoyed your performance and really love listening to your own music on your MySpace page. Keep working hard and you’ll be successful! You were robbed tonight….Disappointed in the voting public that put Chloe in the top three…Keep working hard You Rock!

Doubt this shows “voting” was ever legit. There’s NO way these 3 should be the top 3. MTV has been BS for years.. now it’s REALLY true!
Hope they never do another one of these. Ratings must have sucked too or they would not have cut a show.

A prediction… No matter who “wins” this “singing” contest, Lara will get a record deal and be a BIG star. Mark these words!

Lucy is very talented, and definitely comes from a family with major talent! Joe wasn’t there to *help* her, beyond that brief moment for moral support, since he has been busy on tour and couldn’t sit in the audience all the time like the other parents. Don’t say Olivia was gone all the time, and that Chloe was on her own. She only missed the one show due to being in China, as far as I can tell, they showed her many times on camera. Joe has ALWAYS told Lucy that she must do it all on her own merits, but that doesn’t mean he can’t sit there for a little bit and listen to her fears and tell her he loves her!
