  1. Tara Says:

It doesn’t if you don’t consider her black or not! It’s the fact that you said that she was “ghetto” and making a comment such as “blacksvile”. Like what is that suppose to mean…It’z the fact she was associating these words with being black.

  2. Dezire McPherson Says:

I have one question for Kim…..What or where is Blacksville? That’s the most ignorant comment i’ve ever heard. And throwing the comment “ghetto” at a black person when they are loud or angry is so typical. Find other words to articulate someone else’s rage.

  3. Cecilia Says:

ok plain and simple..who is kim to tell someone to be “normal”? because where im from having a country accent isnt “normal” but im not going around telling people that have them to stop. Kim needs a reality check Brianna was being herself thats who she is and kims no one to judge people.

  4. Brittany Says:

Kim has no right to call Brianna “ghetto” because she was just trying to conduct business. Where s “blakville”? Because it is a place i have never herd of. Why does Kim feel the need to associate the word ghetto with black people in general. And Kim being from the south, thats just giving her a prejudice feel.

  5. cali Says:

kim seems to throw out brianna and her stripper pole but from what i can recall the first words kim and brianna exchange were to brianna to teach her how to dance on one..sorry sweetheart but the boot scootin boogey wouldnt work with a pole. kims a joke and to say those ignorant things to brianna on national television..wow!..it prooves how ugly people can be on the inside these days..but its even uglier how they can potray it on the outside. its the “REAL WORLD” kim not the “NORMAL WORLD” grow up.

  6. Stowaway Says:

Well yeah that is a good way of putting a spin on things. If you didn’t consider her to be a “black” person then why did you mention intercity blackville, just like Tara said you were saying that to be derogatory not positve. In Hindsight I hope you get into an argument with the other girl and let’s see if you think that she is acting ghetto. I have never felt the need to Blog on any of these websites and I am a reality TV junky, but your nonsense well not be tolerated.

  7. Brittany Stalets Says:

For one- the comment that you made was completely racist, not only toward blacks in general but also to those who live in urban areas. I am a white female who lives in and has grown up in urban areas and that comment that you made about her acting “ghetto” was completely out of line. Did she say anything about you needing to go back to hickville?, no but you did refer to “blacktown.” Those comments just show how completely sheltered and oblivious to the world in which you live in you are. I may be one of the whitest white girls you would meet, I even get a southern accent when I talk fast from the town I went to high school in, but if you would disrespect me and act in an abrasive manner toward me I would get angry and yell and bob-and-weave my head, and get my finger waving in your face. I would do these things because of the environment that I have grown up in and the life I have led. Bri seems like one of the coolest, and realest people that you would meet and just because she didn’t walk on egg shells around you because of the situation you had to pull the “ghetto” card- grow up, PLEASE! If you think what she did was ghetto you are sadly mistaken. Another thing is that Bri’s occupation is her business not anyone elses’. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride in order to pay the bills or get things done and if she can do that then more power to her.

  8. Kandace L. Says:

okay, okay….this is the reason why i like the Real World Shows. I believe that everyone would have had a different perspective of Brianna if she would not have revealed so soon that she was a stripper. As soon as that came out, everyone started with the “whoas” and “ohmigoshes”. Bri had to make a living. I, from what I see on the show, think that she is a great girl…grown in some ways that 20 year olds usually aren’t… and that she made a grown-up decision to do what she had been doing. Just because she was a dancer, it doesn’t make her disrespect herself or anything of that sort. These people are already being judgmental. In a weird way, that’s the Real World for ya! Bri, darlin’, just make sure you keep your personal business to yourself…don’t spill your beans to everyone so quickly, because when the moment arrives that you are in a quarrel with someone, then that person will be quick to throw your issues back into your face. Trust me, it’s something that you are not going to want to experience.

Kim, Kim, Kim. Being a Southern girl, she should know that she shouldn’t go on blabbing off the word “ghetto”. People get offended by that. Honestly, I don’t think she really meant any harm by it though…I think that she just learned that word in a conversation on the street in her neck of the woods and just seized the opportunity to use the terminology towards Bri. I can totally imagine her saying, “what’s that word mean?!” LMAO. Being that the two of them later half-heartedly apologized to each other (hey, every movement counts!), the situation should be chaulked up as a learning experience and let it go!!!!

    Thank you, everyone….and GOOD NIGHT!!!

  9. Ashley Says:

Well, although I did NOT agree with Kim’s comments, and I do think she was being a huge b***h- at least she had the balls to admit she was “drunk and stupid and mean” that night, which is more than I can say for most catty b***hes of her naive caliber.

  10. cyco flame, mist. Says:

F— that racists whore, go back to whatever third world state you came from and take your hood and swastikas with you. Take that spikey haired #%*?* with you. What a $?$%*, both of you. Im going to go spray the blvd. with bleach. - CD

  11. Michelle Says:

Kim is a racist. I don’t care what she has to say about the situation. If you watch the episode she clearly is the rowdy one how starts cursing at Bri and then has the nerves to tell her to calm down and lets not get “ghetto”. Kim wat is your defintion of ghetto…is it being or “acting” black. You are racist and i want you to realize that.

  12. Michael Martin Says:

Kim admits she is pretty blunt and in retrospect would take back a lot of the things she says.

The fact that she is currently good friends with Will & Brianna shows that her actions dont mirror what comes across as ignorant comments.

  13. Antwyne Says:

I am offended by Kim’s comments being that I am a black man who came from an inner city in Texas who now works at a prominent brokerage firm. For me to hear her say Inner city blackville takes me to a point and helps me remember how ignornace in the south is a common denominator when we speak of America, growth, and most importantly change. I do not place all the blame on Kim for her cheated mental capacity which racism hides through out it cores, but I blame her parents and her surroundings. When one truly judges another as Kim and Sarah did Brianna it is only because they are afraid to take a true and closer look at themselves and judge how they really feel about them. It is the saying you can not love someone if you do not love yourself. So I advise Kim and extend it to Sarah to do a little soul searching and less ignorant thinking.

  14. Corrine Says:

“And I don’t even consider her black.”

Wow! When does one get to just change the status of another person’s race? Who does this girl thinks she is? The best she can do right now is acknowledge her ignorance on the show and try to embrace the change. She keeps mentioning how she is not used to anyone like Brianna, as if only her experience matters. Perhaps isn’t used to someone like her, and she’s just uncomfortable. There’s no excuse for using the term “ghetto” to describe Brianna. If a white person had responded to her the exact same way, she would not have used that term. It is definitely a word quite often reserved to describe a black person who gets angry. I’m so sick of all of this prejudice. A black person yells and they’re an angry ghetto thug; a white person yells and they’re just having a “bad day” or an “anxiety”; a group of white kids shoot up a school and we pity them wandering what “past experience” led them to this path; oh, but let a black group of kids do the same, and they’re just a bunch of violent hoodlums; let a white group of girls so blatantly feel that they’re above the law and place a video online beating up one of they’re peers, and Dr. Phil bails her out; but let the black kids in Jena do the same after being racially taunted and we just speak to them via satellite as they sit behind bars. Oh America, the beautiful.

  15. Monica Says:

I find it really sad that as pretty and smart as Kim seems that she really is an ignorant individual. I’m shocked that someone would allow themselves to be on worlwide telvesion and say those horrible gutless things that she said. If it’s not racism I would like to know what another name for it is. When she first got their she said she was surprised to see someone like Will coming form Chicago. WHy? I love the realworld show and have been a fan of it for many years but It makes me physically sick to sit and wait for the show to come on and then hear comments like that. Besides with that attitude and thise comments I’m sure that E would not consider her for employment.!!

  16. Nike Says:

Kim really need to get off the show for saying the things she said. Very ingnorant. I deal with people like her everyday. That kind of ignorance does not change, especially in the year we are living in, there is no excuse!

  17. Katherine Says:

I was first shocked and then very saddened by Kim’s comments. I am an African American woman…25 and I grew up in majority Caucasion neiborhoods…I’ve been called a ?@#*~*, I was beaten by two Caucasion teachers, thats not even the half of it. But I came from that and I respect all people no matter their skin color and for you Kim to make that comment…takes us back as a generation….I don’t believe it is nessary for me to call you any names or call you a rasist but you must understand the weight of the words that you said. There are very impressionable children watching this show and you need to assume responsibilty for how that will effect them. They see a pretty, blonde girl on t.v and they think that because you are so pretty and on t.v that its ok to say those things. Please don’t make that mistake again.

  18. GSUGal Says:

Being a African-American Girl from the south I am very experienced with the undercover racism present from many native caucasian in my region. We are not approached with the same radical actions as our grandparents and parents, the damage is more mental and supposedly subtle. We are now mocked and approached with certain terms and sayings, and talked down to…This is just a prime example of what I go through almost everyday in Southern Georgia. An obviously offensive and racist comment is watered down with a fake southern smile and a sweet accent, and the explanation “I heard you say it and I thought it was ok” is used as an excuse. And to have the audacity to come back later and act as though nothing even happened, and that African American is seen as Ghetto or Irrate if they still are upset. Please people racism is so prehistoric now, it is a new age and era we are(hopefully) judged on our attributes not our skin pigment. I just hope that this episodes exposes the very popular mindset that is present in the south, and I think that Kim should publicly apologize, I mean wow Blackville, Jesus lady!!!

  19. bnic Says:

don’t be surprised - typical “southern belle” who says what she really thinks and then blames it on being drunk. i go to a school w/ so many girls who are just like kim, so i know from first-hand experience that there’s nothing anybody can say or do to make her understand why what she said and her way of thinking are so messed up. it was obvious from one of the first interviews that was shown that she was gonna be “the racist” this season - didn’t she say something about being surprised that one of her black roommates could come from some inner city (read: ghetto) that was so ugly and awful? people like her are always gonna exist cuz she’s gonna marry a nice, conservative white man who doesn’t consider himself a racist - but can tell a really good mexican joke, and they’re gonna raise their children to be just like them. so sad, but so true.

  20. Alex Says:

AH. Indeed it was out of line for Kim to make those type of comments, it also shows that she obviously has come from a family that still practices racism. It’s sad yes. Also ignorant. E! may not hire her, but I guarantee MTV will or an affiliate. Drama sells, it’s sad but that’s the basis of the real world. I can’t wait until she is on an upcoming season of the Gauntlet. Those chicks on there don’t take ~**@ from anyone. Brianna needs to keep her chin up! She is getting a bad wrap. But she still is a good person.

  21. RayRay Says:

I think everyone just needs to chill because people just say really stupid stuff when they are drunk, doesn’t make it ok or anything but still give them both a break on this one. I don’t think it’s racist to use the term ghetto it’s just become a form of slang. To say someone it acting ghetto means acting like they live in the ghetto where there is a lot of crime and violence. White people live in ghettos too not to mention all races. The blacksville comment made no sense, hence the drunkenness lol, and I think that one was crossing a racist line. Doesn’t mean Kim’s a racist just that she was drunk and said something racist that she probably really regretted the minute it was out of her mouth.

  22. m m Says:

This chik is totaly racist. The funny thing is that she doesn’t even realize it.

  23. sonya Says:

    Hi Everyone,

In Kimberly casting call interview, one of her friends is talking about living in the ghetto. You don’t have to be Black to be “Ghetto!”!!!!! She is only talking about what she knows. I don’t really think she meant to be racist. Yes, she maybe ignorant, but this could be a great learning exprience for her and the rest of the world. She is was probably drunk which is no excuse for her actions or her behaviors. She has been making generalized comments about Brianna as soon as found out that she was a stripper. For example, Kim and Sarah were talking about how she was dressed on the episode tonight.

  24. TONI Says:

OK, I DONT AGREE WITH RACISIM AT ALL AND DONT THINK KIM SHOULD HAVE SAID THE THING ABOUT “BLACKSVILLE” AT ALL EVEN IF SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING OR NOT. BUT BUT BUT!!!! WHY DOES THE CAUCASION ONE ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE “RACIST”. BRIANA CALLED KIM A WHITE @*$#$! I KNOW THAT DOESNT COMPARE TO THE “N”W WORD, BUT IT IS STIL A FORM OF RACISM. NEITHER OF THEM SHOULD THROW OUT RACIST REMARKS BECASUE THEY ARE MAD AT EACHOTHER. IM NOT TAKING SIDES, BUT THEY BOTH SAID RACIST REMARKS TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER. KIM SHOULDNT BE THE ONLY ONE ATTACKED FOR HAVING AN IGNORENT MOMENT.WE’VE ALL HAD THEM.SAID THEM. OR THOUGHT THEM WHICH IS WRONG BUT SOMETIMES WE CANT CONTROL THINGS.IM NOT SAYING ITS OK THOUGH. BUT PEOPLE SHOULDNT JUST GANG UP ON THE WHITE GIRL!!!

  25. SHA'KERRA Says:

IT DOESNT MATTA IF SHEZ BLACK OR NOT U KIM SHOULDNT HAVE USED THE WORD “GHETTO” THATS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT AND DISSRESPECTFUL..AND I NOW LOOK AT KIM VERY DIFFERENT

  26. Kate Says:

FOR THOSE THAT SAY KIM CAN’T CHANGE–YOU ARE WRONG! I used to be just like Kim. The family I was raised in is still racist and ignorant and so I never really knew any different. I was lucky enough that my then boyfriend, and now husband, made me realize how ridiculous my ways of thinking were. My family has made those comments that if I ever brought home a boy of a different race then I would be disowned and they were NOT kidding. I am ashamed of the way I used to think and act and now that I see it coming out of someone else’s mouth it makes me realize even more how truly ignorant you are when you make such pathetic comments. Hopefully one of these people living with Kim will open her eyes and make her realize that her way of thinking is totally wrong.

  27. RayRay Says:

I think everyone has racism bread into us and only good people are the ones who overcome it and look past what they have been lead to believe for centuries. All the people on here have said extremely racist comments about Kim but it’s somehow ok because she said racist comments on the show. Calling her trailer trash or a southern belle ?@?@@ just because she has an accent is ignorant itself. We all form stereotypes on people so don’t act like anyone is innocent when it comes to this subject. Everyone who is calling Kim names has made a stereotype on who she is just because she is from the south just like Kim made a stereotype of Brianna by calling her ghetto.

  28. Samy Says:

If you recall from the show, Brianna said that when she gets mad she gets “ghetto.” So when she got mad, Kim was using Brianna’s own words to describe to her how she was acting. Had Brianna not told Kim this it probably never would have been said. Also, Brianna called her a white *%$*~, why is nobody jumping down her throat for that? Everybody should quit instigating *~~% and always pulling up the race card trying to make a big deal out of a drunken argument.

  29. Kiara Says:

I do think that what Kim said was a little over the top and I wouldve gotten mad too. But if you guys watched the 1st episode B did say she gets ghetto when she’s mad and so I guess Kim thought that was ok to say since B said it about her own self. Which really its NOT ok. And the arguement did not even have to escalate into what it did because Kim shouldve just told her company to go, B’s company was better they were about business not parting. Isn’t this what they’re in Hollywood for to start their career????

  30. Taylor Says:

Hello. I am from columbia too, and growing up here saying things like that is not uncommon. When you grow up in a place like this, its hard to get away from it. People have to understand where she is from and also wouldn’t you want us to understand how you respond to things. And for the person who commented below about Blackville… there is a Blackville, SC. But sending her threats is not the answer. Please tell me how that makes you any better. Now why don’t you think about that @~?@. xoxo

  31. Chris Says:

You know it’s really funny how people use alcohol as an excuse to hide their stupidity, but sorry, this is not gonna work here.

  32. Shottis Says:

how ignorant was that…ok so wat do u consider black? wide nose, thick lips and nappy hair? she didnt meet those standards huh smh

  33. the realist Says:

i dont care how shelterd she say she is she has interacted with black people before and she should know what and what not to say. but as they say you can only be fake for so long before your true colors come out…and another thing they need to stop hatin on greg just because he dont wanna be fake like everyone else (minus bri, will, & dave) cause as i see it he the only one who hasnt talked about folk behind they back everything he say he say it to your face, like it or not

  34. Bobby Wilson Says:

Kim is so racist. That was wrong, and ignorant. She totally ruin her chance of seeking longterm future career.

  35. Peter Says:

Kim’s choice of words was not the best. I wasn’t offended when she said ghetto at first because I thought she was referring to “ignorant behaviour”. But when she repeated it several times and then said blackville, I realised she was referring to black people being ghetto. I have white friends and we argue sometimes but they can never categorise my individual actions as a representation of the whole black community. Same thing I don’t think all white people are racist. MTV should just either stop the show or get rid of Kim. And to think, who would ever know that Greg would actually be nicer than Kim? What goes around comes around.

  36. Jeremy Says:

Kim is racist and disrespectful. I could never live with her. I wouldn’t attempt to make up with her.

  37. Confused Says:

Can someone explain to me how a black person is “considered to be not black”? Is it because Bri’s skin color is lighter than the two or three black people Kim has seen in her entire life? I would hate to see what happens when Kim encounters white people with a tan. Are they considered to be not white or are they considered to be not black? I’m confused. And what is up with Sarah? Did she agree with Kim about Bri being “not black”? I wonder how they feel about Tiger Woods. Do they consider him to be not black, or do they consider him to be not asian? He is clearly both, black and asian, but I guess Kim and Sarah’s thoughts and considerations are all knowing and more accurate than someone’s genetics. This must be the same accuracy that determined Kim is not a racist.

  38. human nature Says:

When you are in a heated argument with someone you don’t know very well, nine times out of ten the 1st thing that comes out is something racist. Words hurt more than physical punches! It’s a crying shame, but there is something about human nature taking the easiest route to get to someone else who is different from yourself. Whether it is skin color, hair color, weight, lack of intelligence, lack of charm, or lack of you know what in the bedroom………..the easiest trait that pops out to you (or doesn’t pop out) is what we all use as a weapon. We all know it’s wrong, and we all need to be mature about it, and CHANGE before we become parents and before we pass on the same BULL our parents passed on to us.

When Kim said she “loves Bri but she acts ghetto”, she lied. She was trying to lighten what happened. When Kim said Bri is not black, she was trying to take back the ghetto comment. Don’t you see, if Bri is not black, then calling her ghetto is not a racist remark.

I think Sarah agreed with Kim because Sarah isn’t a dummy. She didn’t want to go against Kim or next thing you know Jewish slurrs will come out of Kim’s mouth. (oops, human nature)

It just seems like Kim is the type of person who tries to fit the oversized square pegs into the slightly smaller round holes. (oops, i did it again)

  39. Susan Says:

The worst part was when Kim walked away during her apology and never apologized for anything real, but instead just said that she “loved” Bri.

  40. kuhnooz Says:

If you don’t consider someone black why would you refer to blackville. I don’t understand that was a bit racist, you were wrong! Just because someone is a stripper it doesn’t degrade them at all. They are just tryna make money like everyone else. I thought it was a bit ignorant of Will in the beginning as well to judge bri so quickly.

  41. Jessica Says:

OMG this girl is crazy! Its like she is been raised on a farm or something in the 1800s. She totally sounds uneducated and lacks social intelligence. You can tell that she is stuck on seeing black people in a negative way. She even made Gregg who was trying to bring them together out to be the bad guy. Doesn’t she know that most guys wouldn’t even care.

  42. cortez Says:

I seriously think that everybody is making it into a bigger deal then it really is. If you guys watch check out the clip on the real world dailies then you would see that Kim says that Brianna told her that she gets “ghetto” when she becomes angry. Now when Kim mentioned the “blackville” thing, I agree that was ignorant. But everybody on here that says they are so shocked because they didn’t think that racism doesnt exist, is full of ?@*$! Everybody knows that racism still exists and will most likely continue to exist. And for the most part, everybody is prejudice in their own way. So everyone that is bothered needs to grow up and stop bitching because thats life. I guarentee you that she is not the only one that makes comments like that and behind closed doors many people make similar and even worse comments about all types of people.

  43. Michelle D Says:

Kim is a racist. I knew she was racist from the first episode when she made a comment about Will. Bri was trying to bringing in some people who would help them in their future endeavors. Perhaps Bri could have used a better tone when she told her roommates that two people had to leave the house. Kim was the one that came outside and told her to calm down and not to act ghetto. She were merely venting to the two guys. Bri was speaking rather nicely for the situation. And don’t get me started on the “Blackville” comment. Totally uncalled for. Let’s call a spade and spade and Kim a racist.

  44. Seriously Says:

“Since everyone in America is prejudice in their own way we should just excuse prejudice all together.”

WHATEVER! That’s obviously from someone who doesn’t want to deal with the issue at all.

FIGHT RACISM DAILY BECAUSE IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!
