On tonight’s episode of LOR, our sk8r boi played the part of encouraging big bro, forgiving friend, and, uh, himself on Jay Leno:
Oh my god. How happy am I to have that stinking Razor scooter out of my house?! Man, I never thought I’d see the day that Kane would stay on a skateboard for more than two minutes, and now you can’t even get him out of his helmet. Kano being so excited about skating came at the exact right time. While I was all up in this drama since Casey and Tay’s breakup, my little brother is falling in love with skating. Turns out that Mom was taking the spider monkey to Vans every week. Kane’s still getting the basics down, but I swear he’s picking it up fast. The kid did a pop shove-it on his first try and he’s close to landing a kickflip, I can feel it. And I’ll be right there to see him grow as a skater and help him along.
Oh, and to the person who bought Kane’s broke down, crappy little Razor (I know who you are). Are you kidding me right now? It’s a scooter. It got beat up by an eight-year-old. You paid $100 bucks for that thing? Please do me a personal favor when you get it – trash the damned thing. I offered Kane $20 to buy it so me and Shane could set it on fire, but he said no. So now it’s on you to finish the job. I have a hundy waiting for you if you prove you trashed it.
For anybody wondering where me and Casey really are since the gnarliest fight we’ve had in a long time, we are good. No need to change the opening to the show – Casey most definitely is still in the house. We are still friends. And as far as I’m concerned, it’s done. I wish I could say the same about the mess I was dealing with after he and Taylor broke up. Most people probably get a little room to breathe and get themselves together after a big breakup. But when you’re as close as we all are and you keep seeing each other around it gets weird. Our group is tight, but if one person’s messing up the flow for everybody else, that person might need to be phased out. For a while, that person was Taylor, but she’s just a chill girl to have around. Casey keeps telling me that he and TB are friends and I have to believe him, right? C-Feit’s about to move into a house with me and we’ll see if he can still be chill with having Tay around.
Being up in L.A. was just the break I needed. Don’t get me wrong, going on Leno was stressful. Jay was totally cool, even if they didn’t want the cameras from the show in there. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous. It was like 3 o’clock and it really hit me how many millions of people watch his show and it’s live and you don’t want to sound like an idiot, so I was trippin’ a little bit. More than on Seacrest because you don’t really see the audience. But on Leno, you see the people in the crowd and my head knew how many people would be watching. I had fun and it was cool to watch the show later with my family and friends.
After this crazy week, I promised that I would make more time to just skate. No cameras. No drama. Just me and my board. When I went up to Los Angeles, I got to hang with Jereme, Hoops, and even though you didn’t see him, P-Rod. We skated in this sick warehouse space that Paul has and Hoops was right there covering it all. We were even hanging with Jereme’s brother, Kane. Good name, right? When we went out for sushi, Jereme did the funniest thing, he ate this like, tempura popper thing. It was jalapeno inside and he wasn’t ready for it. We all laughed, but then Jereme bet Hoops he couldn’t eat three of those things. Hoops took the bet when money showed up on the table and Jereme was harassing him the entire time Hoops was eating. He kept saying “let ‘em simmer.” Hoops’s face was red. Then he was sweating. It was so worth $100 bucks to see him suffer like that.

so ummm… you had to grow up really fast? Well that is really sad because i had to do the same. But how do u keep up with 2 brothers and do what you love? You must be a really man. Everyone that i meet say that you are a werid or just really odd because you do what you do. Well i think that it is really cool that you pretty much raised your brothers. You are a really cool person. You are a really bleesed person. And it is cool to see you give your money to little kids. That is a really wise thing to do. I really look up to you as someone who had to grow up really fast. You know what you are doing. I really think that one day your brothers will thank you for doing what you are doing. And i know you get this a lot but you are really good at what you do!!

Ryan, i totally understand what ur going thru with the whole taylor and casey break up thing. ive been there done that and am there again with my friends. so much drama. but everything works out for the best and i’m so glad u guys are still close! ur show is awesome and thank you so much for doing it! u rock!!

I am glad that you took the right decision with taylor. As much as casey and the boys are your friends, so is taylor. But don’t worry, you are doing great with everything. Just trust your instinct and your loved ones. And you are doing awesome with your charity stuff. I am glad that you are making a great impact everywhere. Hey Ryan I have been watching your show from the begginng. This episode has made me thank even though you and your friends have caramas around you guys are still your slef and you live your life. I want to tell you something my friends and I seat around school joking about how we would act totally different if we had are own show but watching your so makes me thank that there is no reason for acting differnet. My friend told me she would start a bunch of drama but I see in your so that there is already a bunch of drama in are familys. Well I just hope everthing goes well with Casey and TB. Ryan!! awesome episode as usual. how cute is Kane? i love the fact that he’s taking up skating. i love his dream too. how cute. you were so adorable on Leno. its awesome that you chose to stay friends with Taylor. you need a friend like that. she is totally there for you. it would have been cruel if you “phased” her out because she was ruining the vibe. remember because of the position that you are in now, friends like Taylor will be very difficult to come by. people will want to hang out with you because of who you are not the person you are. always keep that in mind. good luck with the house, your skating and always stay as you are. take care of your family and never forget who your friends are. Another Great episode! I think that everyhing with Taylor and casey will eventually fall into place…just give it some time. A breakup between your friends can be weird… but you did a great job handling it as always. Wtg kane you finally got rid of that razor!

Well i have been watching your show since the first episode. I have never missed an episode of the second season every tuesday night at ten. No matter what i am doing i have to be at home at ten to see the show, lol. Well so far this episode was the best. Kane finally getting on a skateboard, which is awesome for and eight year old, since an 18 year old like me is afraid,lol. Plus i think that you made the right decision by not phasing out Tay, she has been just as good a friend to you as the guys. Plus, if you did phase her out i would have lost all respect for you and could not bare to watch the show again! Well keep on skating and doing what you love to do. Your really good at it. hey super-fly-ry-guy you are so dope, i love watching your show it is totally sick and you are the best big brother and role model anyone could ever ask for. kane is super-lucky to be in your presense so often, as there is so much to learn from you; you are and inspiration to everyone who loses themselves in their jobs, because you can keep it fly, and stay totally chill with your normal life still. my little brother mike used to scooter it up also, but when he saw kane discontinue that terrible hobby, he also did the same, so kane, thank you.

It must be stuff going through all of this and school plus skate boarding and keeping up with your business, let alone having to look for houses and family. Gosh you have alot on your plate! But your very lucky to have people by you that love you and support you no matter what you do. I truly am a fan of your show.. you show girls that cute skater boys have a sensitive side too.

i think you are such a good older brother to Shane and Kane(he is adorable btw), i LOVE watching your show and i know exactly how you feel with your parents divorce. My parents told my sister and i that they were getting separated two days after Christmas last year and they are getting divorced soon and so far its been really hard. Its not going so well between them which makes it way harder for me and my sister. Its really easy to relate to you when i watch the show….well anyway good luck with everything your going through and i hope things work out. peace

Honestly, the show is cool , but i really think the image you have gotten developed through the show has become less and less, that great skater image and has become more like another hot idol an obsticle that girls love; like lets say brad pit was once/ is i dont know.
Personally i think your our generations new Tony or Rodney, their style and skills are different then yours, but the ‘’skateboarding greatness” is alike.
I’v been following your carrier almost since i started skating when i was 9 (15 now) and i just wanna say thank you for setting such a great example for alot of skaters.

hey, i just finished watching season 2 and i am glad that you got the house!! i love how you go to your friends when ever you need someone to talk to. see i go to my mom and talk because sometimes i think that i don’t have the right friends yet to be that open about. I am glad just like you are that your little brother sold his razor and started skate boarding!! he is soooooo cute just like you and he is going to become just like you. I feel sad for casey that him and taylor broke up but it was just like my sister she had a boyfriend for like 2 and a half years and once they broke up they felt that it was the right thing to do. so for casey and taylor i think it might have been the right thing to do. for you God is on your side for every step that you take. just make sure that you do the right thing and hope for the best with your parents.
