Since the show I have been overwhelmed with the positive responses from everyone. People from all over email me all the time telling me how much they love and admire me, how they want one to show them how to get what I have achieved and confidences and love for myself.

I get recognized everywhere I go, people have been very responsive to such a sensitive topic. The support and love has been overwhelming…I’m still single and ready to mingle, so guys if you’re out there hit me up! Also I’ve gotten into plus-size modeling. I’ve done a couple photo shoots and fashion shows, even give fashion advice, and I am looking to do much more. I’ve even given a motivational speech to a group of girls 11-18. Since True Life: I’m Happy to be Fat has aired, my life has been crazy busy. I had no idea of the overwhelming positive response I would get. People have been so supportive and nice and have been telling me I’m an inspiration and role model to them…again this has been emotionally overwhelming…I had no idea I would impact so many lives in such a positive way.

I often get asked if I regret doing True Life and my answer is NO WAY! The experience was life changing for me; during the filming of the show, I got an opportunity to step back, reflect on and analyze my life, and then at the end of it all say “Yes, I’m truly happy with my life!” I hope the show encourages more people to be able to do the same.

Of all people watching the show was Tyra Banks; the show aired Monday and Tyra’s producers were calling me Wednesday and then the following Monday I was on my way to NYC to film for her show.

All I can say is SHE IS GORGEOUS! I’m also doing a show for German TV that will air sometime in May ‘08. My Life has changed somewhat; people recognize me in public and want to give me a hug or take my picture or get an autograph…it still just blows my mind! Also, my website www.chubbymikey.com is getting a complete overhaul and should be up and going by mid April so make sure to check it out! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has sent me emails of support. Who knows what’s next!
