Not everything your favorite characters had to say made it to your television screens, but a lot of it was so interesting we just had to post an extended blog remix for you...check it out...
TL: I Need Anger Management
MTV:Johnny, do you think people are afraid of you?
Johnny: I think a lot of people are afraid of me, but I think I’m pretty cool. I like talking myself up.
Anna: That’s a great way to let out your anger.
Johnny: Yeah, you gotta see me in the gym. I’m a totally different person, I ‘m not kidding, you won’t recognize me. When I run I yell at the treadmill, I challenge the treadmill. Could you imagine somebody looking at me?
MTV: Johnny, would you consider therapy?
Johnny: There’s a lot of things I don’t wanna talk about but, it was, you know, certain situations when I went to a therapist, that were out of my control, and now that I have control there’s no way I would go to it. I don’t believe in anybody but myself.
MTV: Anna, can you give us some background of the situation with Jesse’s ex girlfriends?
Anna: Jesse has two ex girlfriends that don’t understand the meaning of breaking up and one of them on his birthday had called him up and had wished him a happy birthday and all this other kind of stuff, and I don’t feel comfortable with him having contact with his ex girlfriends. So I was just like, I gave him the heads up the day before his birthday, I was like, listen if you get a phone call from these girls, I don’t want you to let them finish the first sentence that’s coming out of their mouth. Hang up on them, plain and simple.
MTV: So, in your show, we saw you sit down at your computer to draft an email to one of them...what made you do that?
Anna: Jesse gets a phone call from this ex girlfriend. Instead of hanging up, he has a 5 minute conversation with this b****, and who knows what he was talking about, in a five minute conversation you can talk about anything in the world. So I was just not cool with that because you just deliberately went against my wishes, and we had a big argument over that. So then, this particular year when the show was airing, it’s that time for his birthday and this chick contacts him again and what was so funny is that she called him on 12:01 at midnight. She was counting this down like it was New Years Eve, ok it was like 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and then called him on his birthday. And I’m like whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa and we got into it about it again. And what I did was, in the weeks before his birthday I had sent her a message on MySpace. I was like, let me make this very clear to you before you find yourself in a quagmire. Do not contact my boyfriend.
MTV: Wow Anna, looking back now, do you think you went a little overboard?
Anna: I don’t care, you know, if you’re about to die, I don’t care if it’s your birthday and his birthday at the same time, I do not care just don’t contact him. And If you do contact him, I’m gonna take a steel pipe and wrap it around your head, plain and simple.
MTV: And what did Jesse have to say about this after he obviously found out?
Anna: He did not like that.
TL: I'm In The Sex Industry
MTV: Aaron, was it hard to tell your sister about your profession?
Aaron: Yes because I hid it from her for a while, a long while.
MTV: Rebekah, does your boss think you’re a rock star now?
Rebekah: Yes, he’s so embarrassing. Every time people come into the office they’re like, 'have you seen Rebekah, she’s on MTV'. He acts like I’m his kid who did something huge, you know which is really cool. It’s really cute, but it’s funny, because he’s like, he’s my embarrassing parent.
MTV: Can you both tell us a little bit about your True Life experience?
Aaron: They felt the need to shoot me like 7 o clock in the morning every day. I was like, 'get out of my house'.
Rebekah: I always got shot at the afternoon.
Aaron: They would come in and set up. I would wake up and there’d be a camera in my face.
MTV: Rebekah, how did people respond to your BMW lust?
Rebekah:That line pissed a lot of people off. They were like this girl runs porn, she ruins people lives, she does it so she can get paid more. People contacted us, like 'I saw your show. I wanna be in your movies. I’ve been wanting to do porn forever.' Some girl was like, 'I’ve been wanting to do porn since I was 13'.
TL: I'm Looking For My Father
MTV: Meghan, how did you feel walking into jails, hospitals, bars, etc. knowing your mom could be there?
Meghan: Mmm. I was, like after this, I had walked away so fast cause I was so mad. Cause I knew that was the last address they had for her. And that’s when I broke down. I did, I broke down.
MTV: Meghan, can you discuss the moment when you called your stepdad in jail?
Meghan: I actually got the number and contacted him. That was my first time talking to him in like, seven years. We talked on the phone for like three hours. Which is the truth, yup.
TL: I'm Supporting My Family
MTV: Stephen, how did you feel when you saw Unique’s back story?
Stephen: The back story, I really didn’t know a lot about her. But, I don’t know, she kinda gave me a good head’s up about her so I kinda knew.
MTV: Unique, how did you feel after seeing Gina’s story?
Unique: It killed me. Like, I didn’t have a choice I feel, as far as me taking on my sisters, me taking on my family. That wasn’t something asked of me or anything like that. And, I don’t know, it’s just, it’s so weird. I mean I know that they never asked you to, they never asked that. But it’s so foreign to me, it’s so bizarre. It kills me because you’re so young, you should be out having the time of your life.
MTV: Gina, were there people, friends of yours who didn’t know your situation and what was their reaction?
Gina: Um, most of my coworkers, my students, had no idea, a lot of friends that I went to college with. Actually, the day that the show aired, I got an instant message from a friend. And she said, 'Um, I just wanna make sure, are you on television right now?' I was like, 'Yeah I’m on TV'. And she goes 'Oh my God, I had no idea. Why didn’t you tell me?' Everyone was kinda mad I didn’t tell them. That was like, the biggest reaction. You could’ve just told us, we could’ve helped you know. I’ve always been the type of person who wanted to do stuff for myself.
Unique: Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. It’s nice that they offer, but you don’t wanna hear that from your friends.
MTV: Unique, how did you feel seeing the stripping scene on TV?
Unique: This is embarrassing, they showed a lot of nakedness right there. That’s a lot of nakedness on TV.
MTV: Unique, is Stephen still a gentleman?
Unique: Oh, he opens up every single door, still to this day. Every single door he opens up.
TL: I'm Pregnant
MTV: Deborah, can you talk about the fight between you and Joey regarding his decision to continue wearing the cross chain?
Deborah: They didn’t show that we made up after that. I’m like a schizophrenic. I’m like cursing and everything but then I said, 'Oh baby look who’s on TV'. I went to a happy mode in a second.
Joey: Yeah that was like, watered down, the argument, because we were really going at it.
Deborah: But he put the crib up by himself.
MTV: Jenna, how did it feel to see the show all put together? Were you satisfied?
Jenna:I felt there could have been more happier moments.
MTV: Deborah, how did you feel right before labor?
Deborah: My legs wobbled, so I couldn’t even feel my legs. I was so numb, but then I felt that pressure, and I was afraid to let go because I was afraid he would pop out. And then my grandmother and mother went home and then I went to nine centimeters when they just got home so they had to drive back, an hour.
MTV: How did you guys feel when you were discharged from the hospital?
Jenna: I hated leaving the hospital. I was afraid, like 'Oh great. Now I have to do everything by myself'.
Deborah: I wanted to stay there forever. I didn’t wanna leave the hospital, cause they did everything for me.
