There’s been a lot of blog buzz since last night’s premiere of Rock the Cradle. Some of you think Chloe Lattanzi is the best thing since sliced bread. Others, well, don’t. Consider this post by MTV user, fred:

“Who allowed her to completely humiliate herself like this, is what i’d like to know! but, since Americans like the underdog, one of the people that actually has talent will probably go home and this chloe will keep us all in horror for another week at the microphone.”

We spoke with Chloe after the show, and here’s what she had to say about her performance:

“My performance could have been better if I could’ve heard myself. My in-ear monitors, they completely went dead. So I couldn’t hear a thing. And ten seconds before live to air, people are fiddling in the back of me, and I’m having to get in the moment. And I’m like, ‘OK, great. Holy shit. My worst nightmare is coming into reality.’ But, it was kind of good, because the thing I most feared in the world happened. And I conquered my fear. I don’t think my performance was as good as I wanted it to be. But, I still, I f’in did it. What can you do? I did the best with not being able to hear anything.

I hated being in front of the judges. I got a good score from Belinda Carlisle, which meant a lot to me. She’s a singer, and that was really cool. And I got a really bad score from Larry. I guess it just shows you there’s gonna be people in life who hate you and love you.”

So, everyone who’s not fred: Love her or hate her? You tell me and I’ll tell you.
