Heidi M. has a political side that extends far beyond climbing the ladder at Bolthouse Productions. She recently divulged to Us Weekly that she’s voting for John McCain in this year’s presidential race: “I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience.” And when Time magazine’s “Swampland” called McCain to comment, he said this:
“I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.”
When asked to comment on whether Heidi should get back together with Spencer, McCain smiled politely and said, “She could do better.” (That’s a joke, kids — McCain couldn’t really give a crap.)
In other presidential news, LC was recently invited to The White House for its annual Correspondents’ Association dinner. She’s bringing a fabulous new design for the First Lady, which she’s appropriately named “The Bush.” (Another joke, people.)

If you listen to the commentary on the final episode of Sex and the City, producer Michael Patrick King says that John McCain came up to him and told him that he sat down to watch the final episode of Sex and the City alone and said, “Bring on Mr. Big!”–to come get Carrie in Paris. So he has a history of this.
