In this week’s LOR installment, guest-blogger Ryan Sheckler man’s up to acting like a girl…
Thinking back, this was by far the most insane week of shooting this season. First off, let me just say that I am totally stoked about my new car. All my hard work at the Dew Tour this past summer paid off for me in a big way. I can’t even describe to you how sick it feels to be behind the wheel of my new Mercedes CL66.
While watching the show I felt bad for getting so agro at Casey and Mitch, but at that time I felt betrayed and I had no idea how to react. At times I let my emotions get the best of me and that’s definitely a fault of mine. When Taylor told me that Casey and Mitch went through my phone it set me off. It’s the second time one of my friends has gone through my phone. One thing I can’t stand is people going through my things. So for my own best friend to go behind my back made me feel like he didn’t respect my privacy or me.
As soon as Tay and Casey broke it off, Casey started acting totally distant around me and I had no idea why. The night before the fight Casey actually was over at my house. He barely said two words to me and I knew something was up. The thing with Casey is that when he gets upset he shuts down and doesn’t let anybody in. I am supposed to be his best friend and future roommate though so I still feel like he should confide in me of all people. Looking back on things he probably thought I was hitting on Taylor all week.
Here is how the whole “text message” incident went down. Casey, Mitch, and I were all at a party one night. I went inside the house for a minute and left my phone outside. Apparently my phone went off and Mitch was sitting right next to it. So instead of just letting it sit there until I came back, he picked up the phone and went to find me. On his way he saw that the phone said message from TB. So instead of bringing me the phone he told Casey that TB was texting me. Casey then decided to look through all of mine and Taylor’s texts. It’s crazy to me that he would question my friendship with Taylor and think that I would ever hook up with her. As I have said before… I was friends with Taylor before Casey and that’s why she and I are so close. But whatever, things are back to normal with Casey and me. I know that he feels bad about the situation, and so do I. I hate to say it but my mom is right. Casey has been a good friend to me for a while now and the whole thing was not worth losing him as a friend. Hopefully in the future we will communicate better. I know… I know… we sound like a bunch of girls.
Thank God that week ended on a good note! Let me just say that Tilly’s was the sickest fan experience of my career. Steve told me it was going to be big but I had no idea. I was shocked by the insane turn out! Thirty seconds of footage did not do that day any justice, I mean the riot police showed up! It was pretty sick to have thousands of girls screaming my name on Valentines Day… and cheerleaders. But I was incredibly bummed that we got shut down. I appreciate my fans more than anything and when they come out to see me I try to make sure that everyone gets an autograph. If anyone happens to be reading this that showed up that day, waited in line, and didn’t get an autograph… I am sorry. Nobody was prepared for that kind of turn out. But hey, it really feels like the Ryan Sheckler Merch line is kicking off to a sick start.

That fight was pretty intense… It was pretty hot how you didn’t back down to Casey or Mitch, I must say!
I love my phone but dang they cause a lot of drama… haha I know how you feel about privacy… Anyway, I’m glad you worked things out with Casey. Congrats on the new car and house! Wow, very impressive!

this weeks episode was way, way heavy. i think it was awesome the way you stood up to casey and mitch for laying into taylor and for going through your phone. how dare they do that? that was so not cool!! i can’t stand it when people go through my S&#$ either, so i know exactly how you feel bro. i cannot believe casey would even think that you of all people would try to hook up with taylor. as much as i would love to see you and taylor together as a couple, it would be wrong. she gets you soooo well and is so perfect for you. but there is a code of ethics one must follow when it comes to the ex’s of friends. it is an absolute no no. you know that so casey needs to back off. ryan, i love you show and the way you handle yourself and your relationships with your family and friends. no, you don’t sound like a girl. as a matter of fact i think it is awesome that you feel comfortable enough to talk about your feelings and emotions. guys who wear their hearts on their sleeve are hot!!! good luck and stay sweet!!!

hey ry, life sucks in many ways. On a good note no matter how bad things are remember someone will have it worse then you. Anyways i just wanted to let you know that i went through the same crap with my family around 10 years ago and it was pretty hard….let me just tell you though things are still hard with me and my dad but my mom is always there for me no matter how many times we get into fights and say hurtful things… she was always looking out for the best for me!!!! love laughter and light

HI Ry,Ok so what Casy and Mitch did was wrong,I can’t belieave they would do such a thing,but eveb it was wrong and stupid they a both too good of friends to pass up,alot people say there not good friends and they are jerks but they have been great to u expect for this has u have to them,anyways I so glad u 2 worked this out cuz to see u guys throw away ur frinship would been sad,I gotta say though u taking Tay to look the house and not casey was weird but u wanted her advice,and Casy was right everybody fights i fight my friends too we all do but best friends well always be there for us no matter what,Alot of people think u and her should hook up but u should’nt and i know told casy u would never hook with her u 2 would cute togetter but casy is ur bset fiend and she is not worth ruining ur friendship with him,no girl is,Taylor is a great girl though,well justing letting know i am glad u worked it out and that i luv u,i know gett that alot but u are awesome best of luck buddy and best luck to ur crew u all rock,peace

hey ryan- i understand completely about what u are going through right now. not just about u and casey getting into a fight, but with your parents also. You did the right thing by going up to and confronting him about it. But everyone fights and have break-ups in their life and unfortunately you had to get stuck in the middle of this one. trust me it will get better, casey and taylor will start talking again and all of you guys can hang out and have fun just like NORMAL! i am really sorry that taylor and casey broke up that’s really hard for someone who has been in a relationship for that long with one person. but that was totally wrong of mitch and casey to do that, especially after you talked to mitch about casey at the batting cages. if one of my friends would go through my cell phone like that and i would have to find out about from one of my friends and have her say that thay yelled at her, i don’t know if i could forgive them. g2g

Hey! I must admite that you guys acted like a bunch of girls, but all I can say is; been there done that. So you are not the only one to reacte like that!
I’m glad you sorted it out in the end, your best friend is not worth loosing! You have a big Heart, Ryan Schekler! 
Not to forget; an awsome skateboarder!
Especially if you snowboard! So keep that in mind! For your next trip to Europe!

You are the most auzome person on eart! the way u take cear of your friends and family is really great, everybody make mistakes but u always sems to make everything good again. and i have to say i really adore the whay u can open up yourself fror your friends. and i can just hope that me and my mom can be as close as you and your mon is on day. hey ryan. i was going through the same thing with my best friend. she wouldnt tell me anything about wat was going on. a few days later she came up to me and told me all about what she was going through. maybe you should just leave casey alone for a few days. (1 or 2) if he still doesnt tel you. just let him for sure know that whatever happens to him that you’ll be there for him. (no matter what) im so sorry that your signing got shut down. i would have been there. i live in canada and i cant afford to fly across canada and the us. you should come to winnipeg, manitoba. its still far for me but not that far. well i have to go. i hope you can reply just leave a reply. love your show. bye
