On last night’s Hills’ double feature, Whitney bid adieu to Teen Vogue and started a new gig with fashion PR company, People’s Revolution. Now, I thought leaving Lisa Love in the dust would empower Whit to find her voice in this big bad world of styling, but girlfriend might be in a bit of a pickle with the leader of the Revolution, Kelly Cutrone.
Among the several regulations at Whit’s new office is a ban on colored clothing. As Cutrone says, “Just so you know, you have to wear black. I don’t know if you noticed, but everyone wears black.”
Still, no matter what ridiculous guidelines for office living Cutrone shells out, our superfriend Whit maintains her cheery, wide-eyed self… even in the face of the most awkward high-five moment ever recorded for television. One can only pray Cutrone keeps her hands to herself next week.

The fact that she’s no drama queen, focus & driven towards her ambition makes her a good example of what a young lady should be and why I love the show.

Hahahah whitney is soooo cool!! she’s really smart because she doesn’t let drama into her life, i mean if you really think about it, we know very little of her life, other than she works in the fashion industry and that she’s friends with Lauren. I think she’s very, very smart to not expose herself like the other girls do.

By far, Whitney is the best role model and paparazzi dodger on the Hills. Her low-key “can do” attitude and great advice are virtuous which will further her professional and personal life. She is very intelligent and good at not letting us know too much about her, other than what MTV conveys. Cunning on her part but leaves the viewer wondering if we will ever “know” Whitney.
I live on the west coast but from the Midwest with a degree in English with extended knowledge of linguistics and phonetics. I have no idea why her speech is somewhat choppy with odd inflections of certain words. It’s as if she plans what she wants to say in advance of entering certain situations where she is required to speak. It is a bit distracting to me, but she is well educated.

I Love Whitney-She is my favorite in the hills. She is so funny and somebody who i would want to be friends with. She is taking that new very well. That lady is such a ~@~#% and whitney is taking it very well.

I love Whitney. She is driven focused and cool under pressure. I just wonder how real it is that she gets all of these dream opportunities seemingly handed to her over night. A lot of girls her age are in the same boat and have dreams and aspirations; this show makes it seem like it’s so simple to work at teen vogue, get sent to paris, leave the magazine and land another kick ass gig and fly off to New York and have such a big hand at FASHION WEEK on her first day at her new job. The Hills is supposed to be “real” but the way things seem to be handed to the girls makes you wonder just how real it is. If Whitney’s adventures are real or fake, they still inspire me to keep reaching for the stars.

Whitney is by far my favorite because she avoids any drama. She was such a good friend to Lauren, who is increasingly showing what a spoiled brat she is. I would have let her clean up her own mess in Paris when she burned her dress that she shouldn’t have even worn to begin with. Whitney is low-key and ambitious, which is endearing.
