Last night’s Hills premiere caused a blogging frenzy! All across the Web, loyal viewers ignited commentary ranging from the proper pronunciation of Givenchy to the imminent return of Stephen. Trent from Pink Is the New Blog posted pics of himself and the girls frolicking at the “Live and Glamorous in Gotham” party and awarded Vincent John, Tambourine Man, hottest French rocker of the eve. I have been a commited fan of Lauren since day one - until last night. I am seriously considering not watching the Hills anymore. Lauren is a spoiled, ungrateful, disrespectful brat. Everything she did - from not even attempting to speak French - not even a bonjour or merci. Opting to pick up her dress before the shoes she needed for work. Deciding to wear a dress that was given to her to a club where it could have gotten burned, spilled on, etc. Then, when it was HER mistake that the dress was burned, SHE should have taken care of it. Instead, Whitney made the call to get ANOTHER free dress - which she then decided to trash by riding on a Vespa in the rain. She is a terrible example for anyone. Her head is way too big. I give up.

i loved The Hills during it’s first and second season but now it’s going downhill. My favorite person on the show is Whitney and Lauren is just spoiled, spoiled, spoiled, end of story.

I don’t agree with the first two people ahead of me. I don’t understand why they are criticizing lauren. I am a huge fan of her since Laguna Beach and she is not spoiled, she has worked very hard from where she is right now. Though, indeed it was her fault for the dress and she took total action for it.. but in a crisis like that I am pretty sure anyone would have done the same as she did. I can’t wait for the upcomining eposides!

I personaly think that Lauren is very sweet and not spoiled at all, but i understand why people think that. On the episode last night I thought that Lauren looked sort of nervous or something the whole time. Also I don’t think Whitney should have made the call to the dress place, it was Lauren’s dress, Lauren should have. Also she shouldn’t have rode on the Vespa. But I still am a huge fan of Lauren’s.

okay so all of you who think lauren is spoiled shes not she has worked for everything she has and deserves everything she has! Technically it wasnt her fault the dress was burned because it still would of gotten burned if she didnt wear the dress that night because the curling iron was on! Goodness. I LOVEEE this season so far. I love lauren too shes awesome. I just wish that they would of showed more of when she was in paris!

I totally agree with you Naci, I couldn’t stand watching Lauren feel bad for herself over Brody and then her dress. She totally was pushy toward Whitney when they were leaving to get the other dress!!! She is not a good friend to Whitney either because when Whitney mentioned she wanted more then just being behind the desk Lauren was like “I guess”. What kind of support is that!! It is all about Lauren I see.She’s not even that cool,she can’t even hold a good conversation! lol!

I totally agree with Nanci and Emma, I think that Lauren is a rich spoiled brat. She thinks that everything should revolve around her and I don’t think that she is a good friend to Whitney either. I loved Lauren on Laguna beach, but since she moved to LA and has her own show, she has changed and not in a good way. Lauren get over yourself and start acting like a good friend to your friends. I so agree that she should not have had whitney call and get her another dress, when Lauren is the one who ruined her 1st dress. Lauren grow up and stop acting like a spoiled rich brat and start acting like a grown up.

Hey I think that Lauren’s not spoiled I mean seriously if you could have everything she has you would take advantage of it too. She’s young and wants to live life to the fullest there’s nothing wrong with that!! I say go Lauren fullfill all your dreams for some people that cant. Whitney is my favorite and is the only mature one who knows how to handle herself and is a wonderful role model.
We all know that Lauren is spoild. She may have worked hard…but how far would she have gotten if it weren’t for being born into a wealthy family. She got where she is by being inherintly rich and making connections. She is smart for taking advantage of that. But thats it.
For next weeks episodes, looks like she is gonna get mad that audrina had heidi over, which she shouldn’t cause its audrinas house also and she can invite who ever she wants…lauren is looking to be a bit selfish this season

I agree Lauren is a little spoiled, that Whitney is more grounded and cool….but I like watching Heidie, she makes things interesting. I think Heidie looked a tad orange in the face though, it was a litte much.

The Hills this season will be intense…..I can see where people are coming from with Lauren being spoiled but somehow I can’t stop watching this show!!! The main thing I am really interested in this season is the return of one time love Stephen to visit and maybe stay for a couple episodes? I always thought Lauren and him were perfect together and I think that they have real potential even over Brody! I cant wait for more and word to the producers get this Heidi Spencer thing over with…they suck as people and frankly no one wants to hear it anymore =]

whitney is much cooler this season (or so it seems now) and she looks terrific! i never understood why people thought lauren was pretty, she looks plain to me.

Well it appears to me that Spencer might have gotten under Heidi’s skin this time by not giving her the space she needed. It looked like Heidi was going to tell him to leave the dinner table, but I guess we’ll have to see how she deals with the upcoming interactions. Lauren and Whitney’s trip to the Night Club didnt really add much to the episode. But all in all, the episode delivered enough viewer appeal to keep me watching until the end.

Ive been a fan since the first laguna beach. this season looks like its gonna get a little crazy from having Steven come and visit to having Heidi at the house with audriana… but as far as Lauren and Heidi i think you guys should get over it because no guys worth fighting over, even though spencers kinda of a $%%@~ but whatever Lauren the past is in the past and if you and Heidi could start fresh things would be good.but Lauren dont listen to all these haters… i dont even think it was a big deal about the dress like everyones making it seem like, accidents happen and who cares if Whitney called for another dress whats the BIG DEAL??

I love the “Hills”. Its one of the best shows so far on MTV.
Lauren has her moments but for goodness sake give her a break. She really has worked hard and she’s lost a lot of friends to some crap most of us in the real world would not even put up with. It is what it is a “show”.
So what if Whitney called on Lauren’s behalf for a new dress that’s what “TRUE FRIENDS” do. Accidents do happen and it was a big night and I am sure off camera Whitney probably gave Lauren an “I told you so”. Next topic people. Lets just enjoy the Hills and see if Heidi and Spencer finally break up. I wish he would literally leave the show already and bring back STEPHEN.

I love watching the hills. I have been watching since the first episode of Laguna Beach. I think Lauren is a beautiful girl that just needs to have many options out there on guys than getting to close to one since she hasn’t had any luck in that field. Audrina is a bit ditsy i would have to say and has horrible taste in men. She can do so much better than the Bobby guy. As for Heidi, she has became a self-center and fake ever since she got her new promotion. She needs to tone it down if she wants true friends in the world. Whitney is just a all around good girl with good intentions.

this episode was almost exactly like a mary-kate and ashley straight to video movie haha i think thats were they got there scripting ideas lol otherwise i havent seen the show since the first few episodes and its just really depressing how america wants to watch a spoiled 20 something get everything handed to her on a silver platter also come to find out she just bought a 3 million dollar house..haha thats far from the reality of any 20 year old i know….CANCELL ITTTT GET THESE UNTALENTED SPOILED GIRLS OFF THE TV AND FOCUS ON SOMETHING ANYTHING ELSE

Hey so I watched the premiere of The Hills. I have been a fan since the first season of Laguna Beach. I love Lauren I think she is a wonderful person, and has had bad experiences with friends. I don’t get how people can sit here and call her spoiled. Lauren worked hard for where she is at now in her life, and she was born into a wealthy family. Okay,so on the season premiere she did come off kind of spoiled when it came to the dress but it doesn’t mean she is spoiled. Anyways, the show was amazing I can’t wait for upcoming shows. It looks like this season brings a lot of drama. Heidi and Spencer need to get off the show I don’t get why their even on the show when they have nothing to do with Lauren or any of them. And Heidi looked absolutely fake on the premiere I think her moving to LA changed her big time. Whitney, I think she is an amazing person shes one of the true friends Lauren has as well as LO. And Audrina is a good friend to Lauren but I don’t think Lauren can trust her fully yet.

I’m a huge fan of Lauren…I like the way she treats her friends… She’s very caring and loving friend it’s just that sometimes she has been mistaken by somebody that she’s over protective in all that…About the thingy dress that was ruined it wasn’t her fault if whitney called for another dress for her…they were friends so what’s the big deal?!
