Welcome to the first ever ‘True Life’ blog. The idea here is that those of us who produce the series will get a chance to interact with viewers, hear some opinions, answer questions, and share stories about making these shows. Since ‘True Life’ is known for raising eyebrows and provoking opinions, we couldn’t have picked a better subject for this first blog: sex. ‘I Work in the Sex Industry’ premieres tonight at 11P EST and if ever there was an episode to get people talking, this is it.

My name is Josh, I was one of the producers on ‘True Life: I Work in the Sex Industry,’ and I just spent several amazing and exhausting months with three amazing and exhausting people: Aaron, Rebekah, and Shawntelle. Their stories are about sex, love, money, and porn - all the important stuff, really - and I can’t wait to hear what people have to say about their show.
