It’s the season finale, and the moments we’ve been waiting have finally arrived! Justine and Run bring home their new baby daughter … and Jojo cries on camera! The girls are heading out to Los Angeles, and the boys… they’re chilling, skateboarding, you know. (Glad ya finally got rid of the pink helmet, Diggy.)
Of course there has to be some sort of conflict in the finale, and that comes when the family realizes the girls are heading to L.A. on the same day the bay is set to arrive. (Come on, y’all can afford the flight change fee!). Rev recognizes the bitter-sweetness of the whole thing: He does the math and figures out he’s gonna be down a girl.
Jojo can’t stop heckling the Vanessa and Angela, but anyone who saw the commercial for this episode (and Run, too) knows he’s just frontin’. “Not gonna miss them,” he repeats over and over. (Hmmm, that could be a good hook for Team Blackout.) He’s practically begging the girls to leave already — but really he’s probably just afraid he can’t hold the tears back much longer. When the three kids have lunch with the mother Valerie and step-pops Alfonso, Jojo finally lets the tears roll. And it ain’t because he hasn’t gotten his hot chocolate yet.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Justine is floating on air, enjoying the serenity of the baby’s newly decorated room. Rev signs Russy, Diggy and Jojo up to decorate the house and surprise Justine when they arrive with baby in tow. And Vanessa and Angela, looking like movie stars already in their dark shades, head to the airport. But in a fairy-tale twist, they tell the limo driver to turn around and take them back so they be there to greet the baby. It’s like a romantic comedy with Matthew McConaughey.
Rev and Justine arrive home with their beautiful new baby, introduced to the world as Miley Justine Simmons. And the family is happier than ever, all together, one year after the devastating loss of baby Victoria. All that was missing was a big group hug. But I’m sure that happened once the cameras stopped rolling.

I could not get over Jojo’s sadness. It’s not even the fact that he was crying; it’s the actual reason why he was crying. What I’m going through in my life sucks, but seeing someone else go through the exact same thing makes me feel even worse.
My sister went off to college the summer of last year. I acted the same way Jojo did, begging her to leave. Then, the Sunday before she left, my grandmother’s church members held a big prayer for her. It was at that point, like Jojo, I realized that I’m not going have anybody to talk to at home anymore. There are just some things you can’t tell parents, guardians, or even friends. That’s a big part of what siblings are for– listening.
My sister and I (like Jojo, Vanessa, and Angela) have benn holdin it down for each other ever since we were little. It was at that moment when he started crying, and I cried,too, as I was watching the show. Everyday I come from school to an empty, quiat, cold, lonesome home. It was like watching my life on TV.
My point is that nobody should get on Jojo’s case for “crying on camera” because I feel for him and I understand. I’m still going through the same issue everyday.

I knew JoJo was really soft for real he just didn’t want to show it he loves his sisters and the have a tight bond you can see it the grew up together and share parents they are very close in age which also lets uou know that they are very close. I’m glad JoJo finally let his real emotions show. So many of our young men think that they have to be Hard to be Cool. That expressing how you really feel would be Weak or Uncool. That is so NOT the case! If you love someone, tell them. If you’re going to miss someone, tell them! There is no Harder or Cooler thing on this planet then being able to show love and receive love. So big up’s to you JoJO for being man enough to let your sisters know how you really feel!

Hey noneofyourbusiness… at no time does Rev Run act like his kids’ $@&^ don’t stink. He and Justine know those kids are normal… want them to be normal… as normal as a former rapper and bro entrepreneur can be… Have you seen what Dad and Mom tell them about really workin’? Have you not seen what Uncle Russell has said to them about hard work and what it takes to get to sit in the “big chair”?
This may just be a reality tv show, but I’m glad I watch. And I’m glad my kids watch, too. Why? Because I can always show them that even people from Hollis can do right by their people - and by their people I mean their family and every fan who walked along side through their journey! I just want to thank Vanessa and Angela for Pastry. I have a daughter that is 12 years old and 5.8 and feet is a size 11. I was unable to find her cute sneakers until pastry came along. The only problem I have is that the size 11 is not plentiful in the stores in the Washington, DC area. Dou you have a website where I can order them. Thanks again vanessa and Angela. I would just like to say that I really admire all of you. You are wonderful to watch and my family all sits down together to watch you guys. I love how Rev and Justine always talk about what’s going on with each individual child and how to solve something without really arguing or getting upset with each other. Especially how Rev goes to each child with a positive attitude when he knows that there is something that’s going on that they are upset about. I grew up listening to Run Dmc and it was the “snizzle”(as my brother would say). I was really touched by the way Jojo was really close to his sis’s cause that is how I feel about my lil’ brother(who moved to Arizona). Jojo I know you have a hard time telling people how you feel but you should really listen to your dad about when your “smiling the whole world smiles with you”, because its true. When I watched the scene where you and your dad were sitting in the kitchen and he was trying to get into your heart and you kept putting that brick wall up. I have a husband that still has a little bit of that brick wall. My husband grew up with a stepdad that did bad things to his sis’s and abused him & his brother(his real dad died when he was 18 mths old). So what I’m trying to say is that your dad loves you very much and do anything for you so show him how you feel now and not later when its to late. I know you are greatful that you have a dad but once in awhile you need to let him know that. My bro and I grew up with a great dad but my dad never showed my bro with any affection so now I feel like my bro is lost and alone in a way because him and my dad are not speaking. My bro blames my dad for a lot of things. It’s a hard thing to deal with knowing you family members are not together. I belive that all things happen for a reason. For example for the fact that it’s been almost 1 year to the day that Justine lost Victoria and you now have that beautiful lil’ Miley. I truely believe that was God’s way of giving you enough time to heal and regroup yourself and God. I think that it is the most wonderful thing that The Simmon’s have adopted a child that will never want for nothing and never have to live in the system like a lot of children. To me children are special but when you choose them they are even more special. Okay enough sap, let’s get back to Jojo and his whole music thing. You are so lucky that your uncle Rus wants your opinion bout his clothing line. Then your dad is right about you tryin yourself to get a label or whatever you call it even if they are not well known. You have to make your own way otherwise everyone will say “oh he only got that person because his dad is famous”. Its not a bad thing but it feels better when you do something like that on your own because its all YOU(& ur 2 friends). Rev you keep mentioning that you never thought that “Walk this way” would be such a big hit but its just like this day in age of “50 cent&Tim McGraw”. Its just a wonderful thing. I recently attended a Kid Rock concert where Rev Run was a guest. I was really excited when I found out that rev was going to be performing. I was actually disappointed when I heard Rev shout out the word Godd*mn. I mean he is the rev I would have never expected to hear him say that and not to mention he kept grabbing his crotch while he was singing. It just goes to show people will do anything for money

Will there be a 5th season? We have got to see how everyone is adjusting to Miley, the girls in LA and JO JO. No, the whole family. I watch it on tv, internet and I DVR them also. I just love the show.
The comment about Rev using a certain word. She need to realize that first and most he is flesh first. It is just words that he sung and talking ugly to someone. Find something else to complain about. NO ONE is perfect. He who never sin cast the first stone.

Congratulations Simmons Family!!!!!! Today is Easter Sunday nd I finnally saw the last episode, You are blessed with yet another beautful child. This morning my grandmother passed at 87 years of age after my family and I prayed the rosary with her and though I have crying all day becuse she was the ultimate love of my life, not only the biggest religous influence but, caring giving person youwould ever want to meet. As soon as I saw Jojo’s face at the restaurant I started to cry, and he hadn’t even started yet. I knew exactly what he was feeling by looking at his face. I’ve been in Pittsburgh for the past 2 1/2 years, but originally i’m from Boston, and I left my brother (6 years younger) behind when me and my son moved here. I definitely miss him a lot, but we never verbalized it. We just acted like it was all good. Well as soon as Jojo finished expressing himself, i called my brothers cell, got his voicemail, and left a message about what i was just watching, and how i never said it to him, but i miss him. He called me back and told me i was a punk. Then he said he missed me, and i said we should never speak of this again.

I was very shocked JoJo got so emotional when Vanessa and Angela were leaving. He felt like since they are leaving he has noone to relate too.
My bestfriend and I was watching this episode and when he cried our mouth dropped to the floor. This just ges to show everyone how very close the Simmons family is. I would like to make that happen for my kids

I think that Jo-Jo’s reaction to his sister’s leaving was totally appropriate. He is human and he loves his family, to have siblings that are closer to your age and can relate to is very important not to say that he doesn’t love Diggy and Russy but he is the big brother to them and they can’t relate to things that are going on with him at 18. I am glad that this show is on and it just let us know that just because Rev. Run is the father of the family that they are real people and have real life situations just like me and you. Keep your family in mine, God is Love.

I love this show. It has so much depth and sincereity in it which other reality shows sadly lack. I am not a fan of reality shows, and it takes a lot for me to actually watch them and get into them like that. This show has my full attention be-cusz it funny, smart, and there’s family involved. Though the siblings fight (as all do) they all love eachother and care for one another. This showed when JoJo cried be-cusz of his sisters leaving. I really disagree with the people that say JoJo is weak or that Rev Run thinks his kids are perfect. Honestly, you can watch the show and see that they are not perfect. But what I do see is a man that has seemed to wonderfully blend his families together. I can definately appreciate that because I know of so many men/women that cannot manage previous children with the “new” wife and children. To me that is the most beautiful aspect of the show. The jealousy and things that like that which arise is a clear indication that they are not perfect but that they understand that acting a fool for America will disrupt their family business.

I think Run’s House is such a good show. It’s so real, it’s so much like our family. You have the kids, who get along, but they have their moments of jealousy and arguing and then they make up. You have the father, who like mine thinks he’s the funniest guy ever, and the mother who’s the caring, straight talking one, who knows how to have fun too. When I watch this show, I see my family. I think (even though I’m from Australia and haven’t seen this episode) that it’s sweet that JoJo would miss Angela and Vanessa. Look at the age difference between his other siblings, although he can have fun with the boys, it is nice to hang with people your own age. Rev doesn’t think his kids are perfect, if you think that, obviously you don’t pay enough attention to what you watch. Maybe he wants his kids to be perfect, but even Rev is human and knows that perfection isn’t attainable. If you can’t stand the show, well the answer is simple, don’t watch.

I’ve become addicted to the show. I guess because I’ve moved from NJ and miss it alot. I like their family interaction. I actually got misty eyed when Jojo broke down at the restaurant. Rev is killing me with his short attention span. Justine run the show girlfriend. But put your foot down a little more. I know you aren’t that passive. Love you still. Vanessa, Angela, Jojo, learn the family business. There are many of us out there that wished we had family as well established as yours. I’ve watched the old episodes of Angela and Jojo interning, please, ya’ll better do the darn thing and learn the family business and become moguls as well. Rev Run, Russell Simmons, if you all need a protege I’m volunteering for the experience to walk several miles in you all’s shoes.

dear simmons family i had 2 losts 12 years ago and i went into a very deep depression i walked on the beach in far rockaway crying screaming at GOD and asking him why me then i heard a voice say why not you everything around me was grey nothing made sense i spent 3 years on a shrinks couch and nothing he said made me feel better so i started to write poems take long walks listen to gospel music all on the beach then one day i started to see colors again i started to see the beauty of GOD and HIS work when a door closes a window is opened sadly i cannot have any more babies but i am bless with 3 wonderful sons ages 32 31 and 21 bless you justine for you have a strong support team in your family and a friend in the bishop jordan he wrote to me and i would love to follow him and his work. as for jojo i can understand where he was coming from for one he is a middle child the 3 older children will always have a close unspoken bond and jojo was doing his man thing rev run you should have seen that one coming justine did so did the girls rev i have been a fan of run dmc from your first rap album am i dating myself by saying album? lol i was sorry to hear about the murder of your friend your family is special and blessed sometimes i think that your children don’t respect you and that they should know that there are others out there that would love to be them and to have parents like you and justine little miley is a sweetie take good of her she is just what your family needs. rev when are you going to make a gospel jam or do something with dmc hope to see you for season 5 ny loves you peace always

Just let me start by saying that I watch this show every opportunity I get. I love the relationship that Run and Justine have, as well as the relationship the whole family has. It is very inspiring to see a black family that is not fictitious such as the Cosby show, that has its ups and downs, but for the most part are realists. I could only hope to have a family that is as close. And I could only pray to have the type of relationship that Run and Justine have.

Run’s House Is An Excellent Show. I Feel Everytime I Watch The Show I Learn Something New. I Like The Way Run Handles Himself & His Family. He Is A True Family Man. I Wish My Father Were In My Life Like How Run is In His Family’s Life. He Is A True Business Man, Role Model, Man Of God, & a Great Musician. I Believe That The Show is A True Reality Series. The Kids Russy & Diggy Clown Around And Have The Same Issues As Everyone else. Vanessa & Angela are real too. They are Responsible and very Mature. Vanessa is More Serious and gets things done in an orderly fashion. Angela is More Laid Back. She Loves To Live Life. I Like That About Her. Jo Jo is spoiled I cannot Front. I feel He was not frontin’ when he shed a few tears for his sisters. For Those of you that Know What It Is Like To Be Raised With Siblings Then You Know How He Truly Felt. I was Deprived Of Being Raised with My Siblings Because My Mom Passed away & That Split The Family Up. That was When I Was 4 years old. Still To This Day I wonder Why That Had To happen. But Everything Happens For A Reason. Justine Is An Excellent Mother. I dont Even Have To Expalin.
For Those Of Ya Haters. Dont Be Mad Because Your Not Rich & Famous. Be Glad. No Family Is Perfect But Run Strives For Perfection. & When U See Him On the Show He Is Constantly Around His Family Making sure They Are Alright.
