Get the Pampers ready, y’all. There’s about to be a poo-poo party up in here. Big news on Run’s House: After a visit from their adoption lawyer Ina, Rev and Justine get the word that they’re getting a 1-month-old baby girl. House meeting time! The kids are excited, almost as much as Run (who earlier in the episode, was babbling on like a madman whey they first heard the news). Vanessa’s especially excited to buy her “little fur coats and stuff.” Please don’t tell me they actually make fur coats for 1-month-olds.
It’s a good thing there’ll be a new girlie coming into the house, though, because it sounds like two others are on their way out. Vanessa’s soap opera character is about to leave Springfield (wait, is she on Guiding Light or The Simpsons?), and Angela wanted to be in L.A. yesterday. They ask Rev to score them some plane tickets, and his hesitation to do so barely masks the fact that he doesn’t want to lose them.
Jojo, meanwhile, is back at Latchkey Records with Team Blackout. They shrug off a list of potential producers for their first single because they want a big-name producer. You know, Timbaland, Pharell, Dr Dre. Hey, maybe all three can collaborate and give them a track. In a hilarious brother-on-brother chat with Run, Uncle Russell goes from saying success is being spiritually enlightened to recalling a time he got off a plane in Amsterdam and asked for cocaine and #%$@& (I’m curious to know what the #%$@& was). Jojo of course turns to Rev for help (so much for making it on his own), who at first laughs off their request, especially when delivered by Blackout member Zach, then obliges and sets them up with veteran beatsmith Rockwilder (personally I was hoping to see Rick Rubin up in the Simmons house). But Rockwilder is a stud, so expect a Team Blackout single to come. In fact, MTV even ran a commercial touting them during the show. And dudes at Latchkey weren’t kidding: Their budget is low.

I just wanted to write and let you guys know that I LOVE your show! It’s good to see that with all your fame and fortune that you guys are such a HUMBLE family. CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby girl MILEY SIMMONS. I wish you all the luck and happiness and hopefully Diggy,Russy,Jo-Jo will be better helpers since last time they didn’t want to help change your niece diaper.HA!HA!Oh and to Vanessa and Angela I LOVE your shoes but will you be coming out with plus size clothing??Also to Mrs. Justine after your tragedy how where you able to move on??I too went through the same experience and I find it hard to move on and maybe you can give me some inspirational words to encourage me.To everyone else PLEASE keep up the good work!!!!!

hi i wanna start by saying congrats to the whole family on the new baby. i wish all of you nothing but the best in your endevours. justine god bless you for being a strong blk beautiful women and for inspiring so many of us to stay strong in the time of tradgey. i also wanna say rev you and your family are a god send thanks to your show i myself have applied so much of your words of inspiration and the lessons that appear on your shows to my own household. so thank you and godbless you and family in all you do. please tell me now that you have your hands full with the new baby that there will be more shows to come in the future. i’ll be waiting.

I love your show and was so glad to see your new baby. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! I also lost my babies( I was pregnant with twins and lost them before they could survive on their own, and it was very hard but with God’s help I survived) I can’t wait for the new season to begin and I hope you go on for many more years. I just hope the new season starts soon! The date that might be?

Hey, I don’t ususally look at these types of reality shows. I mean who cares how you live right. But, after seeing one episode, I couldn’t tear myself away. I enjoy watching and learning. And I think that is the key, the learning. I am not just being entertained, I am learning how to deal with everyday life on a spiritual level. I love that about Rev. Run. Ok yeah, he makes millions, but at the same time, you can see he is an everyday guy with everyday family problems. As a parent he wants for his children what I want for mine. And that is a strong sense of self, and the ability to do your best at what ever you choose. Who could ask for anything more? Also, the spirituality is off the radar. I feel the love from my own home.

I am just now starting to watch the show, I had this vision of what the show would be like but it is completely different. I love seeing black love, whether its a marriage/friendship/siblings, whatever. I just absolutely love this show…good job MTV and The Simmons Family.

Love the show. But Team Blackout needs to grow up & realize they are lucky to have Run helping them out so much! STOP BEING SO COCKY! ALL YA’LL SHOULD WATCH THE EPISODE WHERE RUSSELL SIMMONS IS TRYNA TEACH YA’LL SOMETHIN EVERYDAY UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND IT
