As part of the promotion of the release of Season 1 & 2 of “Rob and Big” on DVD, a tongue-in-cheek infomercial has been running on MTV for the past few weeks. One of the jokes in the special, is that all of the show is scripted, and that Drama is not actually Rob’s cousin, and that they do different versions of the show in different languages, and that catch phrases like “Do Work” are simply lines on a cue card. As supposed proof, a clip of Rob and Big wearing comical Mexican Sombreros and fake moustaches and speaking butchered Spanish is shown. A supposed “casting session” for Drama is also shown. Somehow, some people are taking the obvious joke literally, and are starting to worry that “Rob and Big” is all scripted.Not to worry people. Drama, aka Chris Pfaff, is actually Rob’s cousin. The two do not don Mexican sombreros and do the show in the worst Spanish you’ve ever heard. And no, thankfully, the show is most definitely NOT scripted. We couldn’t come up with the stuff that these two guys do and say, even if we tried. I’m dumb. I call him Drama so often that I don’t even ever think of his real name. Yes, Scott is Drama’s brother, and Drama’s real name is, in fact, CHRIS. I changed it in the post, too. Thanks!

I must say that Rob and Big are one of the most interesting shows on MTV that i watch. I love it. MY Best friend and I are exactly the way rob and big are. We are Best friends of course, but we love adventures and just being wild and crazy. Rob is “the driver”, and big just chills in the passanger seat. Theres so much more to that. I love the show because i love the crazy things they do, i love the jokes, and it constantly makes us laugh!! Keep it up guys youre amazing!

how can they possibly script rob and big. you can tell that its real because they dont have sheezy lines that u can tell are scripted. AND, its catigoried as a REALITY tv show

I saw the last episode of dramas 21st b-day! I think it was really bogus, how he got treated! I think it was wrong for u guys to shave his head and then make an ass out of him at the tatoo shop! u are only doing that because u guys have money! Hey Rob! We live about twenty minutes from your hometown here in Ohio,it’s a small world! I loved the show with your parents…I also saw the one that you taped here in Ohio. My adult son and I make sure we call each other on Tuesday’s. We both laugh and joke about the episodes,sometimes we find ourselves joking about it all week long!You and Big are really enjoyable to watch. I bought my son a BB shirt for Christmas…My grandson wants to learn how to skateboard now (he’s 7). What I need to know is who do I get in contact with to get this show back on the air? I’m serious…send me an email…I’ve got to Do Work Son!!!
