Are the Simmons’ the most entrepreneurial family in America? We’ve seen Angela, Vanessa and Jojo all make business moves this season, and in Episode 12, it’s Justine’s turn, as a VERY excited rep from Simmons Jewelry Co. tells her the good news: The Home Shopping Network wants her to come on TV and talk up her Brown Sugar line. So when do Diggy and Russy get their own business? They seem ready.

OK, maybe not. They do need a babysitter when Mom and Dad head down to Tampa Bay, after all. But not until after the family busts out the most impromptu dance party reality TV’s ever seen. Down in Florida, Justine is visibly nervous about her HSN appearance, and it can’t help that one of the network’s host attempts to calm her down by recalling all the times she’s fallen on her face. Justine does fine though, not surprising considering she’s already a TV star.
The girls (or “Vanangelo,” as Jojo calls them) drop Diggy and Russy off at the Brooklyn home of their Uncle Danny, an artist who, judging from the exotic (and somewhat scary) artwork all over his place, may or may not be a voodoo doctor. The kids bug out once the lights go out, but I would if someone played creepy sound effects while I was trying to sleep. Those WERE sound effects, right?

Im not sure if you ever read these comments, but just in case, I want you to know your show is my ultimately all time favorite! I could sit and watch all of your episodes back to back to back. I feel a connection to you because my brother (who is now a Minister too) & I grew up with you & your music & now I have a blended (yours, mine & ours) family too! (Just wait until the grandchildren come–we have 1) even though I am just 3 years younger than you, I can relate to so many of your situations (minus $ & stardom). Though your viewers know you are all successful on tv, among other areas, you are able to rise above and show them God, family values, & doing the right thing are what is important. In essence, if you are ever in northeast MS, you all have a standing invitation to a good ole homecooked Southern meal with great fellowship & the Hospitality us Southerners are known for. Hey, Good morning being a mom of 4 boys 20,16,12and9 married 18 years as a family we can watch this show and its FAB OR TIGHT being a wholesome show for as a family with 2 gernation of kids at home!!!! So Justine diet is great and all but if you are happy then thats all that matters!! I weigh 118 and eat all the time. But look great and happy not FAKE LIKE ALOT OF THEM DO!!!! SO GOD BLESS!!!! P.S. Good Morning and God bless! Our Family LOVES the show! Justine you are AWESOME! We LOVE the idea of adopting a baby…My husband and I adopted 3! Try the foster care system in your area. We have a beautiful family of biological siblings. We were able to finally bring them together. Our youngest was 6mnths old when she came to us…God as given us the best 3 blessing EVER! The reason I am writing this, I can’t get my fingers on any Brown Sugar jewelry! I even checked the HSN website! Please let us know when it is going to be available for purchase….

The best “reality show” on the air. As a wife and mother, I can honestly say I adore the Simmon’s family. My husband and I relate to many of the show’s topics and issues. It is truly a blessing to see a family - be a family - even on T.V. May the Lord continue to bless you guys.

My family enjoys the show as well. It is great to see Justine (an African American woman)putting her entrepreneur skills to work! It’s time more sisters step out and make their dreams a reality! Justine, it’s your time to shine!
Justine wore a caftan-styled top (came down about thigh length) on one episode that I absolutely adored! I believe it was the episode in which Rev. Run had Camp Run…she stepped out while the boys were dancing. The top was white with a rose/burgundy color design along with a pair of black leggings. Anyone know where I might can find a top like that?

Hi Simmon’s family. One day I came across your show and that day was one of the best days I’ve ever had watching television. I was down and out because my favorite uncle had recently passed away and I was feeling so sad. My two children knew the heartache I was feeling and would check on me to make sure I was okay. Before long, your show had me laughing and singing, “Who’s House?” “Run’s House!” over and over again. My kids are teens and they were crackin’ up right there with me. You got me hooked and I look forward to Saturday’s because I get to watch back to back episodes. I love to hear Rev make those strange remarks with crazy faces and sounds. When I’m in a goofy mood, I have always goofed off in a very similiar way and crack myself up. Not everyone thinks I’m so funny, but I have this stupid inner challenge to keep at it until I get them to crack. Anyway, thank you all for allowing us into your lives and I know that your beliefs and morals are inspiring to us all to keep the faith! p.s. I have a hugh crush on Russy! He’s just so adorable! Wonderful show!! My son and I watch all the reruns and all new shows. I grew up with RUN DMC…I had one question. At the end of the most recent eposide, the kids were in the kitchen and got up on the counter and was dancing to a song called “jump on it”..I think that is what it is called. I really love you/the show, me & my family. I am a woman of God & me & my family always watch Run’s House. My thing is this I love your jewelry, I love what your doing, period, & what everybody else is doing to. The Girls doing there thing & learning to be great successful women, the boys learning to become the great black men we need in todays life. I just whish tht we could also see more of Rev.Run as The Rev & I hope you come out with a cheaper/costume line of Jewelry, you know that fake stuff…lol. Everybody, like myself can’t afford the high price jewelry, but I still wear alot of it. it’s just a though, please thinking of doing A costume line, I’m alomst willing to bet that you’ll sale more of that than the high price stuff. I love your line, I would also love to have some of the (brown)sugar line on steerling silver. Brown & silver togther is already hot, but just because it’s you will sale off the chart…I Love You all & please think of us small people with big ideas, but just dont have the money. I just wanted to let you guys know that it was a brilliant idea to put your family on a T.V. Show. A true gift from God, Lots of respect for the ending closures,at times you need to relax and reflect,on daily family rituals,it helps hold the family together/gives others advice.As for Justine what does not kill you, can only make you stronger,Deep sympathy for your loss,God will continue to hold and bless you. Marvelous job/courage for stepping up to the plate,letting it be known life have horrific turn points,but we must keep faith and a strong bound with your family.Rev Run is a awesome dad keep up the good work. I cant believe it, you guys let the kids be kids,there not snobby or upity.A beautiful thing,they all will be sucessful because you motivate,innovate these kids.My favorite is Angela she seems so well rounded even with the pressure of being on T.V. she doesnt take it to her head/has a sensible style.Russy/Diggy bless there hearts.I enjoy watching them be kids, i have a son of my own.
