At times I don’t feel that Angela respects Vanessa as the oldest sister in my opinion…I know that she is the baby girl but I thought Russy was the baby? Vanessa is level headed to me.
In regards to the show I LOVE IT! Justine is a great women of God with a sharp discernment whether Rev Run wants to admit or not…
But as a whole the show is great! I look forward to it on Thursday’s and I am happy that we get it for one hour now, the only thing with that is the show will end quicker…

I think that the family needs to stop acting esp. run… this is the third season and they should be used to the production crew being around. i feel like the only people who are actually being their true selves are vanessa and justine… run is just a horrible annoying actor … just my thought

I think Rev. Run needs to chill on all the silly sounds he is always making. It makes him look so foolish and ignorant. It’s not the least bit funny! Makes me want to turn the channel. As far as Russy goes. He is the best one on the entire show. He is the cutest, smartest, sneakiest, etc little guy around. I just love that little boy! He makes me laugh so much. The whole family is cool, I guess. I think Vanessa and Angela are quite snooty and stuck up. They act as if they are the “best” things happening. I have news for them..it aint so! Justine is just like most mothers. Very protective, loving, and caring over her brood. Rev. Run is too busy talking about all his “bling” and material goods. I know the show is “religious” themed but I never hear the REV. say much of any kind of religious thing. It seems kind of strange that he is called a Rev. Is he a real Rev or is that just a hip-hop name for him? Bottom line…they all are pretty cool, and I like seeing their family dilemmas and how they all come together to work them out. GREAT SHOW!

This family is what I would LOVE for my family to be one day. Its funny how people have to find something negative from such a positive show. Oh Well, cant make everyone happy I suppose. All I know is that I LOVE the show and look forward to watching it every week!

Hey Run what’s up? I know you won’t remember me from 1987-88, because I was a young cat, but I first met you and DMC at Queens by the Whitestone Bridge Expressway at Smilely’s game room. At the time it was called something else and I don’t remember? But, I watch your show with my wife, and it’s great, respect and GODBLESS with your family and success. I seen you in Target at the Palisades mall and you stared at me when I walked by you, and I gave you a knod of respect not letting no-one know your there. Plus I was following a guest I was going to arrest in the store. At the time I was an undercover security guard for Target. I left there, but I been wanting to just send you this letter/email. Hope you get it. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be exceptable in thy sight my LORD my strength and my redeemer… AMEN! Later Rev. Out of all the shows on MTV, this is my favorite. For once, there is a show that doesn’t contain a high level of violence, sexual content, and cussing!! Plus, it has a great message about families that are loving, fun, AND most importantly aren’t perfect. They show them disagreeing, but also doing it in a respectful manner. I also appreciate that they are open about being Christians….as shown in the last part of every episode with Run’s message-God is love. It is uplifting and I LOVE this show!

I Love the show its the best thing out there this time of year. Every week I look forward to watching it. Even though people think the noises Run makes are annoying I think it makes the show the best. To many more seasons!!!!

Rev. You have inspired me in some many ways.am a single mom but when WE (my son and i) watch the show we feel at peace with some balance and harmony. I wanted to let you guys know it is great to see a positive Black family influence on TV that people from every country enjoy. I grew up back in the day as Run and his brother Russell would say so I felt the same way when our daughter Marchele ask to have a tattoo. Surprise Run, she did ask us before getting it at age 18 and guess what? The tattoo is of praying hands with a rosary image on top of it. I have been watching the show from the beginning and still love it just as much if not more. Justine your my favorite TV mom besides Kimora.

It is nice to sit down and watch a show that does NOT revolve around sex and drugs! Your show is great for all ages. I love the fact you teach your children manners and respect for other people. Finally a reality show that is worth watching!

I love this family!!I’m glad Rev Run let angela get her tattoo due to the fact he let her be herself and yeah not everyone agrees with getting a tattoo me personally i love tattoos i’ve been inked 20 times yes twenty and i can cover all of them. Thats whats most important I think is that as long as you can cover them for any important event.

I love this show. I have watched every episode. But for most I love Angela. We resemble each other a lot I major in fashion marketing and have same future expectations with the whole fashion industry. Sometimes I hear up to 6x a day hey do you know you look like angela from runs house? And having to answer the same yeah I know. Walking in the city I have had individuals actually approach me thinking it is angela. At times it feels good looking like my favorite celebrity. Thanks for giving us such a good show and magazine articles.

I think the show is a great show. It’s a black “reality show.” But some things just don’t set well with me. In the 2005- 2006 episodes I was looking at Angela saying That is a smart, respectful, and sucessful young lady. Those comments haven’t been taken away just added. I think you {Angela} are being very jealous of your sister {Vannessa}. I think you had you’re chance to shine and now when a little light has been giving to your sister you’re mad. You’re going behind her back to see Rasheed and the other Pastry’s associates. You’re not being supportive as she was to you. You’re acting out wanting a tattoo. You just have to get attention some kind of way. I think for a person with all of you’re achievments you should know better. Be supportive and allow your sister to be known for a change.

I just have to say that I LOVE this family. They are all so adorable to watch. Especially the kids. Their genuine love and affection for each other and for life is so great to see. Run’s House makes me happy every time I watch it.

I enjoy watching Run’s house but I too agree that Angela is giving off a big jealousy vibe regarding Vanessa. She seems to have a chip on her shoulder most of the time but the undermining of her in the secret Pastry meeting and her talking to the head writer at the Guiding Light about killing off Vanessa’s character so she could go to LA for HER chance to shine, really makes her look petty.

Rev and family, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching your family, I know its TV but I have to think that your love and respect for each other can’t be an act. As parents your love for each other shows in the actions of your children. You have found a way to use humor in your everyday life to keep things really and the respect your children show to you and others is so refreshing. Your show and family make us all remember what is important in our everyday lives. Thank you when my family is away you bring that feeling of family back to me. I love, love, love this show. Rev is the funniest guy ever. His kids are good. His wife is hysterical. They remind me of the Cosbys only crazy (in a good way) I look forward to seeing the show every week.

YO, You have JoJo trying to get something poppin in the game and looking at other cats…I haven’t seen D since the show started. (old school rules) Sup with Hollis where you say you come from?…what have you done for the hood, philanthropically speaking? Seems like somebody is getting caught up. (I am not saying that you haven’t given back but the nation is watching, show something for everybody) You sleepin on the same demographic that every other market sleeps on yet thats the demographic that supports yours and theirs the most. I dont think I have to elaborate. Show some love!
P.S. I feel the show but everybody aint eatin like that so why fuel the fire.

I have been watching the reruns and has falling in love with the show. one of few shows on MTV that I can watch with my 7 year old. Hope the show comes back for another season. I love seeing a family showing love and respect for each other.Don’t know what goes on when the cameras are off, so I’m not going to worry about that. You giving me a positive family to emulate, so thank you for that.

I watch the show, and realize where they came from! I’m from around the same area. See where they are now! Self made. Also, the fact that they(Rev. & Justine) Love taking care of a large family, it’s beautiful!
