Real World Sydney: Ep. 13

Dunbar Flipping Out!

Dunbar’s girlfriend is coming to visit and he’s stopping at nothing to get peace in the house (or should I say get a piece.) Julie, Dunbar’s girlfriend, seems to be coming at a great time — this week’s assignment at Contiki is to try out a bunch of great restaurants in Sydney to recommend to clients.

Dunbar snaps again at Parisa who is in his way. A dirty kitchen can make tensions rise in any house, but add trying to impress an American girlfriend when she gets to Sydney — all hell is breaks loose. I’m really concerned that if Dunbar keeps getting angry like this he’s going to give himself a heart attack. (Boy, does he need to “relieve” the tension.)…

It FINALLY happened?! For the first time all season — DUNBAR SMILED! When Julie arrived he actually smiled! It was amazing for the whole 30 seconds it happened, cause that was pretty much it. And it is immediately over. Even Julie admits that Dunbar can be mean sometimes. As a side note: Shauvon is trying to stand up for herself, but fiance who loves her so much pulls the guilt trip saying “I just feel like you’re not even trying come home.”

And now, Julie’s gone and the house is back at work. Dunbar flips again at work! UNACCEPTABLE. His temper is really getting out of control and this is something that must be taken care of or I’m predicting that Parisa is going to take a swing at Dunbar.

We’ve got a sneak peak for next week. Check it out!

  1. You know, I've watched the show from the beginning and while I agree that Trisha should be sent home... I think all the girls in the house have behaved badly at one time or another. Trisha and Shauvon definitely topped the list and Kelly Ann seems to be trailing right behind them when she decided to start spitting. Even Parisa has come across as pretty tacky on an episode or two. I'm really sorry to say that the females on the cast this season make me embarassed to be a girl. I hope the next season brings a group of girls in who paint a more accurate picture of the female sex. It is so sad to see girls who have so much physical beauty ruin it with the ugliness they have inside.

Many men don't respect women because they think we are shallow and petty, when girls like this are on TV... its easy to believe they are. Really disappointing. =o(
  2. Trisha got what she deserves. She contradicts herself in what she says and what she does.Aside from her disgraceful behavior (not even gonna get into it will be too long) In her interview she states that she "knows she's in the wrong...BUT" She is so stupid to even hint that it's Parissa's fault that she's going home. Trisha take responsibility. It's YOUR fault. Why do you feel like Parissa should keep you around after you pushed her? You obviously "hate her", came out of your own mouth so why did you feel like you should stay in the house and even crazier why are you making it seem like Parissa is obligated to keep you there? All you have done is judge her. What you didn't realize is that when you were casting judgement on her, you were condemning yourself to the whole world! We see your true character and it's ugly. Since your so "religious" I'll remind you of a quote: "Let him without sin cast the first stone" You should apply that to yourself, your not exempt from that!
  3. First off i hope MTV never puts trisha on any other show ever again. that girl is so negative that i refuse to watch any challenge with her on it. Everybody focuses on how she always calls herself a christian but really does it matter what religion she believes in? bottom line she doesn't understand that concept of the golden rule: treat others the way you would like to be treated. I could stress the same concepts everyone else has been bringing up about how evil trisha is and that kelli ann and ashli are right there two but all i could think about when i watch the show is how are all 3 of them going to feel on the reunion show.
This season of the real world make me feel like i am watching 3 popular highschool girls pick on the nerd. Seriosuly trisha's family must be really proud of her.
  4. i think Dunbar needs to take a chill pill cause your girlfriend is probley going to be to excited to see you than how messy the house is and you need to be nice to parissa she not that mean she helps you out alot and she has your back so be NICE................
  5. Parissa, you're just an amazing, wonderful woman. Words can't describe how big of a person you are. I have never posted a comment, especially not for a reality show til the incident that happened between you and that immature, Christian wannabe Trisha....
Parissa, you did the right thing and don't let those other two fools get in your way, do not let them ruin your time in Sydney (and then again, the show airs months after the TANTRUM occured)....Anyways, the whole world is on your side, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!!!! Your parents sure did raise a lady and should be DAMN PROUD OF THEIR PARISSA!!!!
Keep that positive attitude/mentality because those ignorant girls could have learned a lot about respect, wisdom, love and life itself from you....They are missing out BIG TIME!!!!
As far as those two females left in the house, they need lots and lots of prayers.
Parissa, may God Bless You and your family forever.
    Love
    Liliana.
  6. Trisha is a BI*@#!!! I can't stand her. I wish I could meet her in person and really give her a piece of my mind!! She is pathetic. I wonder what her parents are thinking when they see the true nature of the daughter they raised....& on NATIONAL TELEVISION at that!! Ah, how proud they must be. And for Trisha's 2 other pets in the house....well, I really have no words for them. I actually feel really bad for them. They must be so confused now that they have no one to think for them.

As for Parisa....I think we should all take lessons from this girl. I constantly wonder how in the world this woman can maintain her composure after all the bulls**t she's had to put up with from Trisha. (and some of the others) No matter how insulting or disrespectful Trisha is to her, Parisa manages to bite her tongue and brush it off. Even right before Trisha leaves for the airport she tells Parisa that she is NOTHING. I wanted so much for Parisa to ATLEAST say something like, "And this is why I'm sending you home." But no, she tells her to "Have a nice flight and take care." WOW! This girl definitely earns my complete respect and admiration.

I'M SO HAPPY ISAAC IS BACK!! HE KEEPS IT 100% !
  7. I knew Trisha had a few screws loose and a "holier than thou" attitude in the beginning of the season where she made fun of a girl in McDonald's for having an accent.
  8. Seriously, are you kidding me. Trisha is one of the worst people I've seen on this show. That sure is a class act, what a joke. Every parents dream I'm sure. She doesn't even deserve to be talked too.

Parisa, you have my respect. I would have surely knocked that girls head off. She has repeatedly been abusive. This is the first time she took it took it to a physical level. And crying about her boyfriend all the time then hooking up with every guy down there. Your christian values are a real high priority. Just try being a good human being first.

You were right Parisa and I hope the other roommates look back and see they were so wrong. You did great and should be proud of youself.

Dunbar's comments about Trisha were right on. I think he should put that out there for the others to hear.

Kelly Ann ...Spitting on the window, give me a break. I would be very embarrassed if I were you girl. Get a clue... you were friends with one of the most hateful girls on the show. What does that say about you?

Ashli you came to the party late. Think for yourself. Being liked bad the bad apples isn't a good thing. Maybe you girls could learn a thing or two from Parisha.

As a parent, I would feel ashamed to be their parents and to have known I put girls out in the world like Trisha, Kelly Ann & Ashli. As a woman, I am embarrassed for them. Hopefully, they will see themselves on TV an change their ways before its too late. Good luck!
  9. Trisha must feel stupid if she reads all these comments. Even if she comes on reunion show and apologizes how can we trust she will even be genuine???She supposedly "apologized" to Parissa and that's because her adopted dad told her to. And after her fake apology, when she was leaving she told Parissa that she is Nothing. Her whole being seems to be one big contradiction.
  10. take this from an older mtv real world viewer. mtv needs to show some class & throw that kelly ann & ashli off the show for how they are acting. spitting, please, kelly ann was a little s***k when she slept with dunbar on what the first nite?? trisha is not a christian. she can say it all she wants, but when it is time to be judged she will not be looked upon highly. she too was s***king around on her boyfriend, her two-toned hair is really classy & she kept calling parisa fat...please. that is christian like. parisa is a woman that will be able to look herself in the mirror & know that she was the only adult woman on the show. send the babies home
  11. As an abusive survivor I am shocked and horrified by not only Trisha's but by those indistingishable brunette's reaction. Parisa, whatever you may think of her, never once raised her hand to Trisha. Trisha, being the RADICAL Christian that this country is known for, eavesdropped on her conversation, screamed and yelled, then SHOVED Parisa. Parisa's reaction? Walked away. Then Trisha, again being the "devout" Christian she is, used the word HATE, yelled back at her, then realized OH CRAP I may get sent home. Did she at any point think about God? How she would look on TV to America? Her family? NOPE! She apologized because she didn't wanna get sent home NOT cuz she was sorry. And as she was leaving after being kicked out she did the RIGHT Christian thing to do and apologized right? NOPE! She did the wrong Christian thing and said she didn't regret what she did and she hopes the girls make Parisa's life hell.
Here's where the ignorant brunettes come into play. Setting the women's movement back by say 100 years these girls identified with the attacker, basically SPIT on Parisa (via glass walls) and have gone on to make things impossible for Parisa because their FRIEND is kicked out for being violent. WHAT? The entire time I was being abused people kept telling me to come forward and I was scared but I finally did and I got SUPPORT! Parisa comes forward and she is chastised? BY THE GIRLS? All the guys even the nicest guy in the house felt that Trisha SHOULD have gone home yet the GIRLS (sisterhood/girl power) did not???? Two things. If Parisa was the one to shove Trisha and do what Trisha did they would have ALL sent her home. And if either of those girls was in Parisa's shoes they would have sent Trisha home in a heartbeat. What they are doing is immature, selfish and to top it all off ONE of them is sleeping with a guy who is in a committed relationship???? Whom I feel sorry for is these girls families and friends cuz they have failed miserably. This is not the real world. In the real world Trisha would have been arrested.
If we are going stricttly in past real worlds every violent roommate has been kicked out. David RW LOS ANGELES who wasnt violent but just made Tammi uncomfortable; on other reality shows anyone whom has SPIT on another contestant even if its indirectly has been booted WHERE ARE THE PRODUCERS??? That is a form of unclassy, unAmerican nature that is usually reserved to people with no pride for themselves not to mention these girls are so dumb they are defacing property that isn't even theirs so it's worse!
What's funny is back to my point about how ALL the guys side with Parisa yet all the GIRLS don't. If there is ever an appearance or TV show featuring these again indistinguishable girls I will boycott it. I will definitely watch the rest of this season for the OTHER people but those ignorant girls are the lowest form of pond scum. Lower than Spencer Pratt. Lower than Puck. Even lower than Trisha herself.
  12. Parisa is the only girl on RW Sydney that is thinking for herself. I am so glad she stood up for herself and kicked that pushy girl Trisha out!
I too am a long time RW fan and have never felt the need to comment, but this was just too much. I hope that KA and A will pull themselves together and realize how dumb they are being and get an original thought in their immature brains.
    Parisa, you go, girl!!!
  13. I like to watch this show for fun. Its generally silly and melodramatic in a cheese way but ththis last episode, WOW. WHAT were those 2 dumb girls thinking-spitting on the glass like animals. They looked like little demons. I hope for their sake that future employers do not watch MTV Real World. I would never consider these immature, narcisistic, uncouth, savage females for employment. I was embarrased for them. WOW...How low can you go.

Parisa is an amazing young woman with incredible strength. Hats off to Parisa for standing up for herself and what is right and true.

Trisha is a nasty hippocrate, with a fake everything and still ugly, inside and out. I hope carma comes back to her.
  14. Ok. I like watching the RW because its fun to watch stupid stuff and a good way to get away from the real world. However, I feel so sorry for the way those nasty girls treated Parisa. I actually felt bad watching the show, like in a tiny cosmic way I was contributing to it. I mean, are people really like this? Is this our youth?

Trisha: I generally don't like to use the words "shame" b/c its kind of a useless guilty feeling however in this case...I hope you feel shame for what you did and for the pain that your family "should" feel when they see this show. I don't know them but if you were my daughter I would feel such painful disappointment. I would ask myself "Where did I go wrong with you"? Trisha, you owe yourself an apology for your dispicable actions on national TV. I do hope that you wisen up to the ways of the world. Every human being deserves respect regardless of their circumstances. Perhaps some life experiences and some pain may be just the thing you need to give you some depth and perspective. Nonetheless, I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe that one day you will grow up and learn some respect for that which does not resemble you.

Parisa, you are the totally AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I think that the entire situation got way out of hand. Trisha is definitely not a good person inside, she has some serious issues within herself and I pray that she finds her way. To say that Kelly Anne and Ashli are ignorant is not only true but also true of ourselves. Ashli is only 19 years old, her behavior exemplifies a great number of the youth in our country today. They are raised with no boundries, no self-respect, and no respect for other people. It is not entirely Ashli's fault that she behaves like she does, it is the environment in which she was raised. Hopefully, this show will give her another plateau in life to learn from and grow into a better adult. Kelly Anne also comes from an area of our country and a background that lives their lives differently. In her audtion tape, it was clear to see her limited knowledge of how to be in a social relationship...most of her relationships exisited on a sexual level. Hopefully, she too will learn and grow from her experience on this show. I think that Parissa is a wonderful person, she seems to have a good sense of who she is and where she's going. The only thing I've noticed though, is that she does tend to carry herself in a way that projects she thinks she's more noble than everybody else which is a turn off for potential friendships. Hopefully, the show will humble her a bit more and the rest of the world will not think that these four girls represent America, Christianity, or the Muslim Communtiy.
  16. This is by far the worst real world cast. Trisha is terrible and her behavior was embarassing. Parisa was not always innocent but the way that she was ridiculed in that house is disgusting. Trisha claimed to be a christian with such great morals and values, yet she behaved as an immature and mean person with no self respect or respect for anyone else. The way that the other girls ganged up on Parisa shows how young they are and that they are still stuck in highschool. I could not believe that Kelly anne was actually spitting at Parisa while she was on the phone. I don't know how Parisa managed to stay in that house the way those girls treated her. Parisa should be proud of herself for standing her ground and sending Trisha home.
  17. I just read the other comments and could not have said it better myself. Parisa, you rock girl!
  18. parisa is crazy sexy
  19. *i love drama well kinda, Dunbar needs to take a chill pill they are cleaning their butts off for him so he needs to stop being mean to them he needs to tell his girlfriend hats going on with him and Ashli cause if i was his girlfriend i would want to now this so i could dump him or be like why would you do that cause i feel bad for Julie cause she hasn't done anything to him like that, he will sit their and yell at them and he is mean i feel bad for them when he is like that cause i wouldn't want to be around some1 like that well not all the time *i love this movie so much i watch it all the time*
  20. People like Trisha are the reason there are atheists and agnostics in the world. It is that kind of soul-less, two-faced, hypocritical representation of Christianity that turns good-hearted, well-intentioned, deeply spiritual people away from any sort of association with religion; for no other reason than they want nothing to do with a God that condones vegeance, discrimination, hypocrisy, violence or hate. But that doesn't matter to someone like Trisha, because the smaller her circle her better. To someone like Trisha, Exclusion is the first commandent.
  21. The verdict is in.
Parisa is the bomb. I would have lost it by now.
What an amazing woman, I started watching the Real World regularly again, just so I could see how she deals with all the $*?@ the other girls throw at her. I'm amazed each time. She really refreshes MTV with some good substance.

Any guy or girl would be lucky to have her on your side.
I hope she continues to keep it real and not let the fame get to her, I'd hate to see her change in the future with her music career. But, if she can get through this, I'm pretty sure her foundation is like a rock.

    Total respect.
  22. I'm embarrassed that Trisha calls herself a Christian! She is so full of hate... real Christians "love thy neighbor". She uses Christianity to spew racism. Real Christians know you can't just say your sorry & still continue to spew hatred. Does she even understand the concept of forgiveness? Trisha, ever learn anything from what you read in the bible? Stop bearing false witness... you give real Christians a bad name.
  23. Can ANYONE please tell me that name of the song, or the artist who is singing the song playing at the time when Dunbar picks his girlfriend up at the cab? I have searched everywhere with no luck!
  24. his vein is popping out of his neck. that can't be good. he seems mad
    Love and Peace
  25. Oh come on, Ashi is 19, not 4. SPITTING is disgusting and repulsive and I thought I was going to be sick looking at the screen. If I was SPITTING, my mother would kill me. Those two made Trisha look positively classy.

Though It was great seeing Trisha go home -- when she told Parisa that they all thought she was NOTHING I was so glad America and her family could see what a venomous empty little shrew she was. Parisa was so classy, "have a nice flight." Heh.

I don't have much love for Dunbar but he sure earned points with me at the end when he said he liked Parisa for what she did. Damn straight!!
  26. this real world totally suck.
  27. In the beginning I knew Kelly Anne was a total ditz. I never have liked Trisha (who would?) And Parisa: You are such an awesome girl. Such maturity and grace, yes you stumbled a few times, but you handled your self with dignity. And I liked Cohutta and Issac. Dunbar, grow up. I haven't seen that kind of behaivor since I was in junior high. I was appalled. Dunbar's mother must be so proud. WOW! I actually liked this season.
