All aboard the snitch train!!!
You know, I’m not sure if people realize this, but it’s kind of discouraging when you choose to take the side of someone that everyone hates. It’s even worse when that person is on a show and becomes vilified on a weekly basis. Despite my numerous posts defending Spencer (with strong arguments that can’t be ignored)…people still ignore them!
This week Brody Jenner did his best Brutus impression and threw Spencer completely under the bus, by coming out and saying Heidi and him were responsible for the whole Lauren sex tape scandal…
Let me ask a question though. Why does Brody telling Lauren automatically make it true? He has no proof, we’re just going on his word which might have meant something if he and Spencer were actually speaking to each other, but there not, so I’m going to be a little skeptical.
I’m even more skeptical because I know in reality who did cause the Lauren sex tape rumor. It was me! Brandon from Team Spencer put the word out on Lauren and the story sold like hot cakes!
Actually, it wasn’t me, but I’m just trying to prove a point. Brody Jenner has as much evidence to prove Heidi and Spencer were behind the rumors as I do, but you don’t see people believing what I say for a second.
So until I see some kind of hard proof, I’m not sold. Unfortunately there probably isn’t any, so it’s my guess that we’ll never know for sure. Lauren fans will think it’s Heidi and Spencer, and Heidi and Spencer fans will think….that it probably was Heidi and Spencer.

I think there is something fishy about Brody’s confession. He didn’t even look Lauren in the eye!! Also, Spencer looked like he was bothered that Brody told on him. I think they BOTH started the rumor and now they’re throwing the blame in different directions. Lol!

I think Spencer did do it, I mean Brody as always been a friend to Lauren, and also Spencer never liked the idea of Lauren and Brody being a couple as well, or becoming close friends so I believe that Spencer is the one that started the rumor

I think that Spencer has put Heidi in a few to many situations, but on the other hand, she needs a backbone. Does she not wonder why her friendships are limited? I think Spencer is a jerk, who is useing Heidi for the show. This has got to be why he is not working. More TV time.
It sad what someone will do for fame.
As for the rumor, good job Spencer! Spotlight s back on you!!

Firstly, I must address Brody’s good looks. The guy is incredible..Is it just me or does he actually glow..So happy he’s on more often this season.(thats that. now..)I really feel badly for Heidi-doesnt she see what kind of person Spencer is. It seems he’s very insecure and not truly in love with her. How could he not tell his parents he wants to marry her? Every episode shows another aspect of his ugliness.She seems to be ’stuck’ in a bad place with him and too weak to break free. She probably needs LC now, more than ever.

Spencer has shown his vindictive side more than once & I wouldn’t be surprised if it was him that spread the rumors. I feel badly for Heidi though, she is oblivious to the world crashing around her. Look at what’s happened since Spencer came into her life (breakup w/Lauren & Elodie incident). Through everything, Lauren will be fine because of all the good friends around her but Heidi is the one who has been victimized, what friends does Spencer allow her to have??? I hope Heidi wises up soon and see what kind of person she is engaged to.

i think that the most illucidating view we’ve gotten of heidi is from her parents. she seems to fling herself into relationships and soon enough i think she’s gonna regret that. at the same time, i think spencer and brody set those rumors in motion without really thinking, and before they knew it it spiraled out of control. if brody did, i think he probably regrets. i don’t if spencer does, but mtv is pretty good at that spin spin spin… who knows if that little face he made was in response to heidi’s question… sure looked suspicious though.

I think Spencer spread the rumors because he wouldn’t even tell Heidi a straight answer on whether he did it or not! Brody and Lauren have never been at odds, so why would he make up any rumors? What Brody says matters to Lauren because she has built up a lot of trust with him and so she believes what he says about the rumors!

SPENCER. THE LOOK WHEN HEIDI TOLD HIM ABOUT WHAT JENBUNNY SAID, HE COULD BARELY LOOK AT HER, AND THE LOOK ON HER FACE TELLS ALL THAT MAYBE SHES STARTING TO CATCH ON TO HIS LIES AND SELFISHNESS. Honestly if you look at their characteristics i think it had to be spencer! brody is the type of person who hates drama and can see everyone’s point of view. spencer has always been a sneaky snake who is immature! just look at how he “broke up” with brody because he was hanging out w/ lauren. who does that?! i think heidi is very naive when it comes to spencer and is easily influenced. i think she is a good person though and didn’t know too much about the whole rumor situation. she needs to dump him ASAP… and i also think that all the girls should just stop this stupid drama and just talk! brody would have no reason to spread a rumor like that, why would he?! he liked her, that doesnt make too much sense. im sure spencer just said that so heidi wouldn’t leave. heidi and lauren were both wrong in their friendship though. lauren did push heidi away and somewhat made her chose but heidi would also through lauren under the bus for spencer. they need to talk. k bye!

I agree (for once!) with those on the side of Team Spencer on this one. Where is the proof? Just because Brody tells Lauren to her face that Spencer and Heidi are behind the sex tape rumors doesn’t make it true. He said “they” are responsible, and yet Heidi truly appears as though she is clueless. Either she’s an extremely good actress (which I doubt), or she didn’t have anything to do with the rumor and doesn’t know that Spencer did, either.

Number one, I asked you already to stop calling us all KIDS, We are not all KIDS and it’s not your place to say that we are all Kids…..Do kids pay the cable bill or the power bill to even be able to watch these shows….Now please stop calling us all Kids…… Spencer does all these inmature acts to keep himself on this show, and that is the only reason he is still with Heidi, Take him off the show and watch what happens….Yes Spencer spend those lies and heidi is just as guilty by saying it once again on Tv when they ran into Jason and Lauren that night….So she needs to grow up. The high school students on Newport Harbor have more class then Heidi………

I believe it was Spencer but I think Brody had a hand in it. He and Spencer were very close at one time. I believe he knew what was going on and now that he and Lauren are on good terms again, he didn’t want to ruin things with her by manning up and admitting his part in the entire ordeal. I believe Heidi was also in on it. Look at how she stabbed Elodi in the back! Spencer is a snake in the grass and a drama king. Heidi has shown a lack of backbone when it comes to spencer. Did you hear how she lied about what happened at the restaurant when she saw Lauren and her ex. She tried to make it seem like she sent the drinks as a kind gesture. I loved the way Elodi shut her down and that look on her face was priceless.

I believe Brody. He has been trying to avoid the drama and just stay out of it. He knew Spencer did it. Even before he said it everytime Heidi brought up Laurens name Spencer got a devious look on his face. Come on? And why would he try to read the letter Heidi wrote to Lauren? I think he is closet controling. I think Brody didn’t even want to admitt who did it probably because he would have rather just stayed out of it. ….I believe Brody….but you never really know ANYONE

i think that lauren and brody make a really cute couple and can’t wait to see what happens with them.. i kind of do not see spencer and heidi breaking up because they have no one else other than their families and even their own families don’t like them together.. they are very pathetic people.. i think heidi might see that she got herself into deep ?~~$ with back-stabbing people but spencer is just keeping her down, and she is not an honest enough person to start digging herself out.

I have only disliked Brody’s actions once and that was went he left Lauren at les Deux to leave with Jen Bunney and Spencer and Heidi, but the truth came out and he truly is a great guy. I have no belief in the rumors that he started the rumors about Lauren and the sex tape. IT’s ALL HEIDI AND SPENCER FOR SURE!

I believe that both Brody and Spencer started the rumor and let Heidi take the blame so it can ruin her and Lauren’s relationship. They needed to get Lauren out of the picture so Spencer could manipulate Heidi without Lauren speaking sense to her.

I think Spencer did it, I mean seriously what does he do all day while Heidi is at work? We only see him sitting around doing nothing. The preview for the next episode makes it seem like Heidi’s finally catching on to Spencer and his ways. The looks on each of their faces were completely priceless… Not only do I think Spencer actually said the rumors, but I don’t honestly thing Heidi had any idea that he did.

i think Spencer did it, he is just sleazy like that. I think Brody and LC would make a great couple and they are so cute together. The only reason it didnt work for them last time was becasue of all the drama caused by there so called friends. On more addition, Heidi honey you need to get a clue, spencer is rude and he is such a cornball he thinks he is all that but everyone I know just laughs at him when they watch the show. You can do so much better.

It makes total sense for Spencer to be the one to have spread the rumors. Usually if someone is going to do that there are only a select few, if any, number of people who know…..a roommate/best friend being one of them. Of course when Heidi told Spencer, he finally saw it as a way to come between Lauren and Heidi for good. (which is what he has wanted from day one) Looked to me that at the end of the episode that Spencer did do it and Heidi just started to piece the puzzle together.

I really do not think that Brody would do that to Lauren at all. He seem like a rock solid guy and seems loyal. I do know looks can be deceiving but it can not be Brody. I think by looking at how Spencer was looking at the end of the show his face said million that he is guilty as sin and he did it to destroy Lauren. It was Brody. Usually the people that write these kind of stories are trying to put all clues towards one suspect, that in this case is the jerk that Spencer is, only to surprise you in the end that in reality it was the cute boy you never thought would do such thing. Plus, Lauren’s life is all about victim kind of drama.

I think Lauren and Jason really did make a sex tape and Lauren told Heidi about it when it happened because they were best friends… Heidi then told Spencer because she tells Spencer everything and Spencer started telling people. That’s what happened.

First sex tapes are a big no no. Especially when you are in the publc eye. How would you ever be able to explain this to your son or daughter in the future when they see it Lauren? These things have a way of coming back up when you least expect it and bitting you on the butt. I hope you have learned from all this that you can not trust any person when it comes to this kind of thing. Lauren face it, Its your fault for ever making a sex tape to begin with.
