Is it just me or are Heidi and Spencer one of those couples that slowly morph into one person? They look like they’re related; brother and sister maybe. Just a thought.

uh yeah spencers the biggest jerk in the world. i hate him so much. he thinks he can run heidi’s life and shes letting him because she “loves him” yeah ok whatever hunny if he loves you hed want you to be happy. i cant belive she gave up on lauren,she doesnt desrve that. i love lauren(:
so i personally think that heidi and spencer should end up being horrible and heidi regrets everything shes done to everybody around her. karma sucks.

WOW, I saw something in my local newspaper today my husband IMMEDIATELY said doesn’t this sound like someone you watch on T.V. and my mouth dropped…….
” SPENCER MAYBE YOU WILL READ THIS AND REALIZE YOU NEED HELP AND HAVE MAJOR ISSUES BEFORE INVOLVING HEIDI”
“A relationship could be abusive if the partner”
1) Pushes for a quick relationship…Spencer immediately bought that apartment and Heidi felt obligated no matter what she told him before.
2)Is jelious and possessive….the whole Lauren and Heidi’s friendship
3) Is suspicious of everyone you speak to….Enough said…”Lauren”
4) Hides controlling behavior behind concern for your safety…..”I bought you a gift”..the ring, the apartment..all controlling ways to keep her around.
5) Tries to control what you do and who you see…”Oh baby, I want to go to work with you”, next thing you know he won’t want her working.
6) Expects you to always be available or with them…. the one show that he picked her up and surprised her witht he apartment, she had to drop everything on a dime to meet him outside.
7) Has sudden mood swings…we’ve all seen Spencers mood swings and evil eyes especially when he snapped at her parents and when she changed the apartment back to normal.
9) THinks their problems are someone else’s fault…poor Lauren
10) Is easily insulted….the whole Heidi painting over Spencers NICELY decortated bacholor pad apartment they share together
11) Forces you to do things sexually you don’t want to…what really happens behind closed doors and when the cameras are off?
12) Thinks males and females have very specific roles…that’s easily visible that he feels this way
13) Was abusive in a previous relationship…no one knew Spencer coming in on the show..hmm?
14) Breaks or strikes objects near you….like I said, we don’t see what happens when cameras aren’t on or around…hmm?
There is also a small list of suggestions to leave a abusive relationship but I’m not posting them because I KNOW Heidi is just another victim of a abusive relationships and alot of victims either wait till its too late or just put up with it.
I don’t normally preach these kind of things but I immediately had to post all this because not just 1 or 2 signs is Spencer,,,,almost ALL of them is Spencer!!!!!….WOW!!!!
I sure hope Heidi reads this one,, not that it’ll sink in anyway but maybe it will for someone else.:-)

Yeah, well it won’t affect Heidi by reading my post, even ALL her old friends and coworkers tried to warn her about Spencer so she won’t listen to anyone on the outside such as myself… BUT I am hoping it will help someone that reads it that may be in that kind of a situation.
I’ld like to be able to know that that one newspaper clipping helped someone out of a situation like Heidi and Spencer…

Did anyone see Spencer on the Princes of Malibu? Most of the crappy things he and Brody did to David Foster where Spencer’s ideas. He crashed there most of the time and Brody paid for all their partying with David’s credit card. TOTAL moucher losers! Why would any girl want to date or even hang out with either one of them? Those guys shouldn’t have one second more of air time. I wouldn’t give either of them the time of day.

Great post @ Donna and you’re right. Heidi does not have the mind set to accept the message posted. She is too caught up in Spencer’s game and I can’t help but to wonder what his motives were for moving as quickly as he did. I mean, did/does he really love her or did he just want to “get back” at Lauren by separating the two? Who knows, but I remember her distinctly telling him that she wanted to wait, at which point, he told her to, “get out of my car”! It was shortly after that that he took it upon himself to rent an apartment anyway and present it as a “surprise”! Ugh! Definite control issues exhibited there. When she continued to pursue a reconciliation with Lauren, “BAM”! Out pops an “engagement” ring, further appealing to her emotions and drawing her closer to him. He initiated that confrontation between Lauren and Heidi at the club by saying, ” let’s roll up on her and see what her problem is” resulting in Lauren’s infamous outburst, “YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID”, while he lingered in the background and watched. Remember when he actually grabbed Lauren’s arm and swung her aside in a night club, telling her to mind her own business? Another sign of controlling and abusive tendencies, among others (i.e. evil glare @ her repainting wall, outburst at the family restaurant, assault on her male coworker after he told her her style of dressing was inappropriate for the workplace…etc)
This last statement made me think of what she has possibly gained and lossed since meeting this guy. She’s supposedly gained a fiance’ but lost her best friends (LC,LO and Audrina)as a result, with Jen Bunny hangin’ on by a thin thread. I won’t even go into how she back-stabbed Jen with the whole Brody ordeal but that was a doozy. She lossed part of her “nite life” at the clubs for lack of peer socialization. Two coworkers are no longer at the job since her arrival. The first one is the young guy who expressed his opinion re: her inappropriate wardrobe. She told Spencer and the guy was assaulted by him in the middle of the streets. She then told Brent (employer) and the guy was never seen again at the site. Elodie resigned when what she considered to be an earned promotion was sneekly swiped from under her by her less experienced “friend”. Her relationship with Spencer has her parents very concerned for her welfare which she’s flipped off repeatedly ( or so it seems ).
Spencer is no better off. For some reason he has refused to tell his parents about his impending wedding. Now if THAT’S not a red flag, I don’t know what is. He also has given up his best friends ( Brody & Franky) over that BS he has with Lauren, and does this guy even work? Something’s not right I tell’s ya. While their former friends are out at the beach or partying at the club, they are home folding laundry, playing video games or typing the laptop. Not a good sign for two young adults who once were adored by many.
I have to say I really wish them well but something tells me this situation may not turn out as they hope.

spencer is a COMPLETE LOSER…I tried for awhile to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he is such SCUM. Heidi wake up he doesn’t want to truly marry you, he need’s you for something and that is why he is with you, and for that reason only. HELLO…he hasn’t even mentioned to his parents that you are engaged and planning on getting married. That isn’t even remotely normAL!!!! God Heidi get out while you still have a chance to save some or all the good relationships you did have before he came along and turned your life upside down!!!!

I might add, Jen is such a loser also. She is so desperate to get back on the show that now that Lauren saw her true colors and realized “Who her REAL friends are”, Jen is so extremely desperate that she’s now hanging out with Heidi again. She looked SO pathetic when Lauren told her off and Jen left the apartment that day, now she’s kissing ass with Heidi just to get back into the whole scene.
Ugh, between this show and Mystic Tan (I think that’s the name of the new show), it something Tan, I am really opening up my eyes on how many people out there you can’t really trust to be your TRUE friends anymore, and “THAT”S SAD”.

I really hate spencer. He is such an enabler and really encourages Heidi to act stupider than she is. I really hate the fact that Heidi does not acknowledge what she has done and how Spencer alienates her from others. Im just waiting till she is a lone and noone to turn to but Mommy. Even her Mom thinks something is not right Go figure.
The whole Ketchup thing was not necessary why did Spencer Need to say something and then Heidi just join in like a real follower. Does she not have mind of her own.

I really think that Heidi and Spencer are both
childish. I thought it was uncalled for when Spencer said those things to Lauren and Jason. I think that they should worry about their own business and not Lauren’s. Both Heidi and Spencer are as dumb as they look. Heidi really lost a good friend.

Spencer is a first class jerk! He sees Heidi as weaker than him and he feeds off her weaknesses. I have seen this done to people before; the damages that people like him cause are horriable!
Hopefully when she wakes up, as most women her age do sooner or later, the damage wont be to great! By the way does anyone else think it’s odd how Spencer never blinks and is constantly chewing on something?

To add laughable news to the oh so busy life of spencer… He told US Weekly that he wants to run for governor in a few years.
“Boyfriend Spencer Pratt tells Us the two are taking political science classes at USC: “I’m gonna run for governor in a few years. If Arnold Schwarzenegger can be the governor of California, Spencer Pratt can be the governor of California. Heidi’s learning to be a first lady. She could be my Hillary Clinton!”
Also, I would like to know who is actually on Team Spencer? And how did Heidi get enough money for her rhinoplasty and breast augmentation? Also, how is Spencer affording their apartment? Where is this unknown income coming from?
I really hope for the benefit of Heidi that we aren’t seeing who Spencer truely is. And that this clips we see aren’t a true version of who he really is. If it is and Heidi hasn’t realized yet, that poor girl won’t ever realize. Which is sad. Maybe she is just desperate to get her singing career launched and she knows publicity no matter what kind still is publicity. UGH. She should team up with Britney Spears, that way the two of them can find help! Stupid Hollywood!

Heidi should have her ring appraissed. The store Spencer bought the ring at looked like a clothing boutique. He’s playing her to see himself on tv. She’s just hanging on to him for dear life b/c she’s impressed that he supposedly has a lot of money and flashes it every chance he gets. She wants a rich husband that will buy her things so she can get fat and happy. If he isn’t willing to buy a real ring why would he share the wealth? If they even get married there will be a pre-nup for sure. He seems like the kind of guy who would want his wife to be beholden to him and beg for every crumb.

Both Heidi and Spencer were immature in this episode. It was funny how Heide thought it was rude that both Jason and Lauren sent the drinks back, after that stupid stunt. That was beyond immature. Both Heidi and Spencer need to grow up, especially Heidi. Girl, get over yourself. So what if you have a new position at your job? That doesn’t mean you can go walking all over people and buying them drinks expecting them to drink it, girl please! Go take that money you’re making and buy a new boy friend.
