So it was all about over-the-top prom proposals in this episode: Grant cornering Sasha on the ferry, Chase sneaking up on Allie at her family restaurant, and Clay hanging a sign from a bridge for Chrissy.
The prom seemed kinda boring, but the before and after-parties looked dope! From the looks on everyone’s faces, the Red Bull was a flowin’ in those plastic cups.
But the real story tonight was the Taylor-Chase-Allie love triangle. Everything seemed to be going fine, until Taylor showed up at the after party. She didn’t even go to prom, why’s she at the prom after party?!
Allie wasn’t happy at all (who would be) and Chase gets his friend to ask Taylor to leave. But then, Allie sees Chase talking to Taylor on the phone. What’s his deal?

Honestly, this whole triangle was ridiculous. Katie and Taylor are GOOD friends, so if Katie wants to invite Taylor to HER party, she can. Chase needed to just get the hell over it.
Clay and Chrissy were ADORABLE!!! I just hope that they stay together.
Honestly, I hate Samantha, so I hope she either gets a storyline or shuts up. Her voice pisses me off.

Omg. Allie is just freaking out because Clay isn’t paying her any attention. She is just jelouse of Chrissy. This has nothing to do with Taylor. Shes just in the middle of Allie’s lame drama. She doesn’t even like Chase. They hadn’t talked in forever, and now all of a sudden she has to be all in Chase’s Relationship. And Samantha has nothing else to do but impress Allie. So the people that need to be dating are:
Grant and Sasha
Chase and Taylor
&
Clay and Chrissy.
Allie needs to move on.

I don’t get it.. how is this show so ridiculously entertaining? I love every minute of Clay and Chrissy’s extreme flirting and no matter how messed up his little love triangle is, Chase is too cute to not love and be mesmerized every second he’s on the screen.. Seriously, I think Taylor’s whole appearance was a little random. I mean, I understand if she’s good friends with Katie, but why would she come alone to a junior/senior afterparty, especially if she wasn’t invited? It was really rough that they kicked her out, but she was pretty much asking for it.

ehhh…i really just care about clay and chrissy,; everyone one else is whatever….but c&c are a very cute couple. i’m so mad at myself for liking them together so much, but it just reminds me of that cute high school puppy love that you only have with a few people…too cute!!! clay was all over chrissy with his drunk self, only the alcohol can open him up. she needs to carry some jack daniels in her purse on all the rest of their dates, lol.

The thing that really sticks out most in my mind is how come no one; barring the the initial poster’s oh so clever allusion(”Red-bull”), has mentioned how blatantly hammered Clay and Grant were? Grant riding the stand-alone cycle and falling off immediately and Clay’s entire demeanor during the after-party? Hilarious, dude(Clay) could barely open his eyes, let alone smile/talk.
Why didn’t Chase, being such a fantasic player and all turn off his god-damn speaker-phone and at least make an attempt to keep his chances afloat with Allie? He basicially gave up.
I’m ever so slightly embarrassed I pay attention this closely but I cannot deny that the show is massively addicting. It easily, at least in mind , transcends it’s predecessors by a Grand Canyon- like margin. Dope show, I’ll continue to watch until the inevitably corny end.

That scene with Grant on the exercise bike came out of nowhere and I laughed hysterically at it! It was obvious that he and Clay were completely wasted. Wonder how Chrissy’s dad reacted to the after party scenes? I hate to admit that I like this show SO much better than that trainwreck Season 3 of Laguna Beach. Too bad this group is made up of all seniors (except Taylor - does anyone else think she could pass for Kristin Cavallari’s younger sister?). Enjoying this show nonetheless!

I can’t stand Taylor and I want Chase to be with Allie. How rude was it to go and call Taylor on the phone (speaker phone, even worse) when he knows Allie is in the house and she could possible hear it, like she did at the end. He needs to get over that sophmore and TRY to be with Allie. On a better note, I agree with everyone about how cute Chrissy and Clay were! But the drunken Grant on the bike was hilarious, along with Clay barely being able to keep his eyes open. Can’t wait to see what next week brings….Taylor or Allie, Chase?

sasha is gorgeous & grant is super hot. they make such a cute couple. i was so happy he asked her. and like you could tell he was interested in her cause in the limo he was staring at her and she was like “why are you staring at me?” but she knew she liked it. haha. & then when they were watching clay and chrissy make out, grant put his hand on her leg. do any of you guys think they hooked up or will?

I think that Chase and Allie should be together. Taylor should not have showed up at the after party, she is a Sophomore and it was a Senior Prom. Allie and Chase have a lot of history together and Chase is just using Taylor to make Allie jealous. I feel a little sorry for Taylor, but she needs to move on. Chase needs to realize he cant play girls all the time, and just settle down with Allie!

Wow, I love this show so much .. it’s seriously my obbession! I absolutely love Clay & Chrissy. They are just so compatable for each other that I must say, I’m a little joealous. Clay is amazing & if he should be with anyone on the show, Chrissy is the one. She is such a nice girl! Allie is annoying, I can’t stand to even look at her. She isn’t even that pretty! I think she should just but out because it’s obvious that Chase still likes Taylor. I mean he still calls her! Grant & Sasha are totally cute together. They need to hook up & date!

I love how you can plainly see at the after party how trashed everyone was, and no one says anything. Ok that was my first time watching that show and it wont be my last…i need to do some catching up. First impressions….Chase Obviously still wants taylor and is too big of a chicken to admit it, otherwise he wouldnt of cared. tonight’s episode rocked. These proposals weren’t as good as the previous seasons, but they were still sweet. Clay’s was sweet because he’s so shy!
I felt so sorry for Allie…..Chase is a jerk for doing that to her. He’s playing both and he hurt both. I’d take Allie in a heartbeat!

She need not anymore in her life since her father really likes to lay it on pretty thick. We get it, you care about your daughter and you don’t want her whoring around. Who wants that? But cut the umbilical cord. Geez. As for Allie, I don’t feel bad for her. She’s the kind of girl whose desperate for attention. At least that’s how they portray her. She seems to just be boyfriend crazy. Not the best quality in a girl. But it makes for fantastic tv.

This season is by far my favorite and I have no idea why. There is a lot less drama then the past seasons. Maybe that’s why. This episode was probably my favorite out of all them. Grant is hilarious, my favorite person on the show. He needs to make a move on Sasha bad. Chrissy and Clay are just too adorable for words. Grant on the bike is just too much, it makes the whole season for me I think.

For some reason it seems as if i love Newport Harbor better than all the other seasons.Clay is such a sweet heart and his invitation was the best.OMG,Grant he is such a comedian,the song they played at the after pary made everything he did so funny,especially him riding on that bike.But i still dont think that what i preferred to see was the love triangle because that was boring compared to Chrissy and Clays major hookup on the couch!

I love this show. It is so good. I would like to say that Chrissy is such a wonderful person. I love her and Taylor….I think Chase is the hottest guy on this show, so far but he done Taylor so wrong. She deserves better….Chase and Allie belong both full of it and not very good people…..Hope they stay how they are and leave everyone else alone….Poor Taylor, she doesn’t deserve that kind of treatment from them two….She is so beautiful…Hope she has a happy life.

I love Newport Harbor. I am a big fan of Chrissy and Clay. I thought Sasha and Grant were kind of cute also. I have to agree that Grant was hilarious when he fell off of that bike. It wasn’t even moving. LOL. Chase still cares about Taylor. He doesn’t want to hurt her but he also doesn’t want to hurt Allie. I mean he wants to be with Allie yet he doesn’t want Taylor to be with anyone else. I mean he wasn’t even man enough to tell Taylor to leave himself. He had to get his friend to do it. Did you see how upset his friend was afterwards? You know what forget it. I can’t even feel sorry for Chase. He brought this on himself. He can’t have both. He needs to choose. I hope he chooses Allie because Taylor deserves better. I am not a fan of Allie’s or Samantha’s.

I have to defend Allie here. I’m not saying she’s the greatest person ever, but she does really like Chase. That’s the reason she’s so anti-Taylor. And, honestly, the only thing we really know about Taylor is she’s hot (which I think is debatable). I just think it’s weird that so many people like her so much. I feel bad for her to, but I’m on Team Allie, meaning that neither of them should be with Chase because he’s not even close to boyfriend material.

I personally thought that Clay and chrissy were just absolutely too cute. It makes me want to find a guy like clay. he seems like a super sweet guy and super cute too. I loved his prom proposal I had no idea that it seriously was a big deal to make prom proposals original. Where I’m from you are happy to get asked at all it doesn’t matter how you get asked. lol I felt bad for taylor tho, chase seems like a jerk who wants his cake and wants to eat it too. he wants everything and everyone and he just keeps hurting girls in the process for example his random hook up with chrissy. at least she didn’t get hurt….I hope that allie will leave chase alone and I hope that grant can figure out who he really wants to date because i dont think that taylor is the girl. I think he just asked sasha because obviously clay was gonna ask chrissy and sasha and chrissy are best friends and so are grant and clay so it made sense.
