Wow. Heidi reached new heights of betrayal in the latest episode of ‘The Hills’.
Many say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and considering how shady the world considers Spencer to be, are you honestly surprised that Heidi would end up snatching a job under her friend Elodie’s nose?

Ok, I think Heidi has reached a new low of ~~?%@. Not only is she a backstabbing, sorry excuse for a “best friend”, but now she pulled the job right out from under Elodie. I can understand wanting to give it a shot, but she at least should have told Elodie she was going for it too. And on top of all of that, Heidi is an IDIOT if she ends up marrying Spencer. If she can’t see he’s putting on an act then maybe she deserves him. I also saw a preview to next weeks show, the way Heidi and Spencer act at that restaurant is completely CHILDISH. Seriously, if you’re going to take a big a step as getting married you should at least ACT grown-up. I’m so not impressed. The only thing I’m glad about is Lauren’s strength. Keep it up woman!

i didn’t think it was that bad of heidi. as others have said, the job position was open to everyone, heidi was going to find out about it whether elodie told her or not. and besides, with editing, we can’t be that sure heidi DIDN’T tell elodie. the only thing i thought was shady was heidi’s meeting with brent and the whole thing about “not stepping on anyone’s toes.” that above all else made me think heidi knew it would upset elodie.

well, when I started out watching this series, I thought Heidi was going far. Now, I don’t think much of her because of the way she turned out to be. She wonders why Lauren isn’t her friends, she made it seem she was using Lauren to step up on the social ladder. After the last episode I watched, I think that she and spencer are perfect for each other with their personalities.

i think heidi should have told elodie that she was considering going up for the job when elodie first approached her about it. but honestly, i don’t think heidi had any intention of going for the job until she realized someone else wanted it. it’s not even that she just screwed over her friend, it’s also the fact that she hasn’t been there as long as elodie and elodie deserved it a hell of a lot more.

Heidi is so annoyingand so is her relationship, GO LAUREN! Spencer is the biggest dirtbag..are we all watching the same show?hedi is kinda trashy, lauren has so much more class and respect for herself. Hedi lets spencer control her, she doesnt even have a mind of her own. Spencer seems very mean and controling and looks like an evil wax figure! GO LAUREN, lauren is better without heidi,now she doesnt have to hear heidi voice on the regular and doesnt have to fake conversations with someone who thinks they have a perfect realtionship. Meanwhile..we all see saw on tv the spencer behave without Heidi, girls like that are pathetic.I’m over Heidi and wacko Spencer.

Heidi needs to get real & just be honest! She is a back stabbing, lying “2 faced” girl. In all the shows, she doesn’t have the back bone to take a honest stand on anything coming out of her mouth! Lauren IS so much better off w/out her as a BFF! Heidi, on the other hand is really missing out what a “real friend” is — Lauren is strong enough to address her friends to their face & be honest w/ her statements — they are the same to her friends face or behind their backs!
Heidi is not a role model for any American girl/unwoman! Except for what morals not to demonstrate in friendship!

I agree with so many of you. I have sat and watched this season and have wanted to jump into the television and smack Heidi in her face so many times. She obviously didn’t watch last season and see all the crap that Spencer did behind her back. I mean, come on…any true friend, like Lauren, wouldn’t like Spencer after seeing all the crappy things he did to Heidi. I think Lauren is a great person and friend, Heidi has lost a good one over someone that is rude and immature. At least Lauren let Heidi know what kind of person Spencer was, but Heidi didn’t want to listen and that is why she got upset, she knew that Lauren was right, but didn’t want to believe it, so she couldn’t be friends with her.
Also, if Heidi knew who was spreading the nasty rumors about Lauren then why wouldn’t she let her know, is she really just that crappy of a person. She was just upset that her loser boyfriends best friend was talking to Lauren, and now Spencer doesn’t like Brody because he was talking to Lauren, that is so immature.
And does anyone else think that Heidi was really rude to her Mother when she was trying to talk to her about Lauren, she is ridiculous. She is just a self centered person. Her and Spencer deserve each other, they are both idiots.
Heidi is going to be wishing that she had Lauren when she really sees what kind of person Spencer is, and I hope Lauren doesn’t let her back in. I do, however, think that Jen (Bunny) is trying to be a good person now, and really Heidi was to blame with the whole Brody and Jen situation anyways, I do think that Lauren should give Jen another chance as a friend. What do you guys think?

i think heidi was just looking to better herself and help secure her future. in reality, what pays the bills… a job promotion or not having a friend get mad at you. im not saying i like heidi or agree with any of the things that she has done. but she is 20,21 years old living in LA. you get caught up in it and as for spencer…( besides me having an inky feeling hes only “in love” with heidi to get fameous off the hills ) i know that ive dated a spencer before.. things are always different from an intimate point of view she just dosent realise because she is so caught up in her relationship. maybe he really has changed. if not im sure she will realize what a great friend lauren is and that she was just trying to help. i mean you can tell they miss each other, but im sure after the rumors there never going to be able to be friends again … Shame.. i liked it better when it was lauren heidi rather than heidi spencer

Well, I’ve sat and watched this show and Heidi is just pissing me off!! And you could see the expression on Elodie’s face that she was the first to talk abou the job opening and since she’d been there long enough that she was capable of being in that position to move up. We’ve seen her doing her job, well more like being at her desk and not running out when boyfriend calls like Heidi does. I just don’t think that was right. She did her friend wrong and now her co-worker……Now she’s a slacker and back-stabber. I hate it the way Spencer talks and now Heidi talks like him. Everything about Spencer you see, now you see Heidi. She listens to whatever the hellever Spencer says. That is why both are losing in parts of being friendly or having much friends.

I definately was surprised when Heidi did this. But, I think we all need to think about something. It’s not her getting the job that made us all mad. It’s that she didn’t even express interest or let Elodie know in any way that she would be up for it too. (as far as we know). If the girls talked about it (more like Heidi talked about it), there wouldn’t have been a rift created. I’m hoping that they just didn’t show the part where Heidi discussed this with Elodie. But, sadly, from the way Elodie reacted, I’m pretty sure she didn’t let her know. Heidi really is a little deviant. She acts really innocent instead of confronting real problems. Well, I’m done. Obviously Bolthouse only gave Heidi the position since she is a “well-known reality star”, which in turn probably means more business for them. If I were Elodie, I would not want to work for a company like that. I would be super pissed if I got passed over for a promotion, especially for someone who had been there less time than me. And Heidi totally went behind Elodie’s back. SO sketch. Oh well, what goes around comes around, and Heidi will one day get what is coming to her. Which will be a lifetime of Spencer Pratt. UGH.

I just want you to know that when i first started watching the hills, and LC was going through all that with Jason, that is when i liked you, but ever since the 2nd season you have become just a total bi***. I have always wondered why you would treat, who you would call, your best friend the way you did. Like a total DOG!!!! what if someone did that to you….YOU DONT DESERVE ANY FRIENDS AND YOU SURE AS IN HE** DONT DESERVE ANY ONE LIKE SPENCER….If you could have only seen how much spencer talked about you behind your back, you would have listen to LC…i have so much more to say to you that it isn’t even funny. Unlike many today, including Heidi, I have a conscience. I also know enough better not to ?$@$? over a friend or at least someone who has supported and helped me get to where I was. Heidi acts as if job opportunities will never come up again. Trust me more money is not worth screwing over friendships. Money does not buy happiness which in the end Heidi always looks miserable. She knows she has messed up so many of her friendships. She isn’t even all that close to Jen Bunney. Heidi is setting herself up for a hard fall.

I”m the Mom of an adult male child & used to watch The Hills every now & then. This season I’m watching it to see what Heidi will do next. I’d be very ashamed to call her my daughter. Elodie was extremely accurate in her assessment of Heidi’s behavior. All of her friends from the past have abandoned her. She stole the job that should have gone to Elodie. She lied when she recounted her the confrontation she & Spencer had with Jason & Lauren the night before by omitting key details.She said she & Spencer had sent drinks to Jason & Lauren, but neglected to say the drinks were meant to be insulting. She also failed to mention the snide remarks made by Spencer & herself about her former friend & Jason in her retelling of the events. Heidi is either totally clueless or she’s a shallow, two-faced person not worthy of the friendship of Lauren, Audrina, Whitney, and Elodie. Karma’s going to eventually going to come back to bite her on the behind. Not to mention that her actions are televised & out there for all to see.

Spencer makes some stupid ass comment about jason and rehab, and you say i wonder if they’re back in the movie making business. hmm….i thought you said you DIDN’T start that rumor and was not apart of it at all.???

Heidi is one shady “lady” and personally, everyone is getting sick of her and I don’t know how much longer I will watch the show with her on it. She sure has shown her true colors, she is a horrible friend and not a very good person. I am absolutely appalled how she pursued the job that Elodie wanted, her “friend” but friends don’t do that. Obviously Heidi doesn’t know how to be a friend. And shame on Bolthouse for hiring Heidi. And then how Heidi acted in the restaurant, her and Spencer are truly bitches (and Spencer is a tool). The part that I find funny is that your friends are always going to be there if you treat them right. Boys come and go and what she has in Spencer is nothing but him pulling the strings which makes her look like a complete fool. Even if you do not agree with what your friends think of your new boyfried, you NEVER EVER betray your friends by saying things about them behind their backs, because you never know when you will need them and if you treat them poorly they will not be there to pick up the pieces. Spencer is trying to get Heidi to himself so that he is in complete control, I know because I married someone just like him and after the rings were on and the I do’s were done off he went to have several girlfriends and I was left to feel like a fool and an idiot who had blown off all my friends but to me I had not betrayed them so they were there to pick up the pieces and me. Thankful what I see with Heidi is a very selfish, self centered person who (with Spencers guidence) is slow but surely painting herself into a corner and will not have anyone when he blows her off and cheats on her once more after he has gotten all of her friends to dislike her. Here mother and Elodie are right what did you do to them to make them not like you, and if you do not like the answer you have come up with take a big look in the mirror and say yourself how would I feel if someone did that to me.
This is coming from a person who was on that train wreck but had friends to pull me clear, I do not see Heidi having anyone to pull her clear and she needs to take a deeper look at what is going on in her life.

i had to say this im glad Elodie told Heidi about her situ…it’s not all one persons fault its immature actions,. and her boy, keeping her all to her self, and she really doesnt know what she wants nor does she know what she is getting her self into with that guy, i mean you cant be that blind to not see what he is doing to you and ruining her friendships all the while brainwashing her. But Lauren could be the better person and confront her with it again in a more relaxed environment with just Heidi there with her I think they could work it out, its over some %$*$$@?# and they both either need to get over it or deal with it by confrontation, and adult like conversation working it out not yelling and being immature about the situ…if she wants to be that way then oh well Audri…will take her place…later ah…

Heidi clearly cannot think on her own, she has to rely on Spencer’s every word. She should realize that Spencer is a scrub. What does he really do all day long, he has no ambition, but finds the time to dictate to Heidi what she must and must not do. Heidi you are clearly brainwashed and cannot think for yourself. Its very sad that a young girl as yourself cannot think FOR yourself and see what is right and what is wrong. And you should listen to what your parents say, because they do see something you apparently dont. I for one am not a huge fan of Heidi, but I do have to say this in her defense. She was there for Lauren when Jason broke her heart and listened to her cry and cry over and over about it. If Lauren was such a good friend to her, she could have not like Spencer and just stayed frineds with Heidi. I mean, you dont just give up your best friend if you dont like her boyfriend.
Now, it was wrong of Heidi to go behind Elodies back and take the position, but it is business and this is a cruel world out there. Whos to tell if Elodie wouldnt do the same.
I dont like Heidi’s attitude when it comes to Lauren, but you can see she really does truely care while Lauren doesnt seem to. They had such a strong friendship and if LC can get over jason breaking her heart then she should be able to forgive Heidi for wanting a boyfriend.

First rule of thumb in Corporate America - Keep your agenda between you and your boss. Never, ever (and I mean ever) tell your co-workers that you want a position. It’s just not in the handbook…. and it’s tacky! Hiedi did the right thing. It was professional. Elodie has a lot to learn about corporate etiquette. Duhhhh!!!!

I am no fan of Heidi’s, but seriously I would had tried for that job as well. Elodie had worked there not that much longer than Heidi. I don’t know if they really had too much differences in jobs…not sure what Elodie did or does.
In all respect, Heidi did not steal the job from Elodie per su, she just expressed her interest in the job to her boss. It was her boss’s decision to make who deserved the job most.
Granted if I were their boss, I would not have hired heidi because of what a pouting little brat she demonstrated herself as when she first got that job. Plus, if I were Heidi I would of told Elodie that I was applying for the job, which she may have done, and producers took it out.
Sucks for Elodie that she has to see Heidi in a position she wanted, but just like Heidi says, that’s business.
Plus, I feel sorry for that intern.
