Do you watch ‘The Hills’? Sure we all do. The real question is, which team are you on? Are you on the predictable and safe Team Lauren? Or are you a wayward soul rooting for Team Spencer? Forget those teams.
There are 5 fundamental reasons why you should be on Team Heidi…
5. She’s the patron saint of “The Frienemy”
Chances are, if you are female and you’ve had friends you might have befriended the Frienemy. The girl who is too good to admit that they are actually jealous of you and then make you their best friend? Heidi has become the modern patron saint of every frienemy out there.
4. She’s a Hustler not in Hustler.
Many women would strike while the iron is hot and try their hand at appearing in Playboy, Heidi has still not taken any official offers (although she’s got the goods to show it). She’s quit school to fast forward into the working force, where she has taken a serious place in Bolthouse PR and the Hollywood party scene by storm. She hired her manager Spencer and got him to propose to her, and is working with one of the greatest music producers and Brody Jenner’s step dad David Foster! How many of us can accomplish half as much in that time?
3. She stands by her man.
Being on Team Heidi doesn’t mean you have duel citizenship into Team Spencer, but one must give her props for standing by her man. Even if he does look like Max Headroom. Even if you secretly think she can do better.
2. She’s tried to be the bigger person.
How many of you would invite people that you know hate you to your housewarming party? Even when they have declined your initial invitation, how many of you would have the dedication to write a letter of how much you miss that person and have the guts to hand deliver it to them at a club in front of all your mutual friends? Heidi has shown us this season that she can be the bigger person.

Heidi’s a great girl from what I seen on the show. I’ve grown to love her passionate attitude towards things that she wants.
We should all take a page from her book - to do what we, as individuals, want and not what other persons what.
Although I do think both ladies should call this beef quites, they have unresolved issues that they need to work out, and they might just do that sometime soon, who knows.

Even though I feel that Heidi and Spencer belong together and make a cute couple I’m not really a fan. Of course everyone of those invovled are very young, but Heidi and Spencer need to learn to let the rope go and hang out with their friends a little bit more. Yes Lauren may be being harsh on the two of them, but given her track record with calling men on their flaws she’s been pretty much dead on, and it didn’t take her long to figure out that it wasn’t going to work out with her ex Jason even though she loved him. She’s just reacting like most people would when they feel they have been wronged by someone, and in this case she feels Heidi has wronged her therefore she’s not going to make it easy on her. The blasting her was just the icing on the cake, but it started long before when Heidi put everyone else on the back burner and kept breaking their plans. The same way she felt when Adriena ( however you spell it) broke her plans with her to hang out with another guy even though she tried to play it off. Brody felt the same way when Spencer blew him off (even though meeting the parents was sprung on him and a valid reason not to keep their plans).
The fact is any good freind wants the best for their friend and Spencer wasn’t a saint by far when he and Heidi started dating so that’s all LC had to go off of in most cases. Also, in most cases a friend is going to dislike a guy or girl more than the person involved. If Spencer was really honest with himself and looked at it from others eyes he wouldn’t like himself that much in the beginning either.
Still however, you can still tell that LC still deeply cares for Heidi. I feel that deep down Spencer is a really good guy but he’s just like most of us we still have a lot of work to do within ourselves. In order for him to see that he does have a control issue, and wants his way on almost every issue he’s going to have to be honest. Even though you can see in the shows that he’s trying to give a bit it takes a lot out of him to give what he is giving unless its his idea. All personal issues aside even though Spencer doesn’t want Lauren and Heidi to hang out anymore, trash talking her etc isn’t helping Heidi in any way. As a matter of fact it’s making her colder to people, and eventually though she loves Spencer she will start resenting him b/c she will only have his friends to hold on to which seems to be the way he wants it. Yes Heidi did make a bold move by writing LC a letter about not showing up, and was hurt after the fact. However, if she really realizes how she felt when she invited people and they didn’t show up for something that was important to her she would understand what it is like to be in the other persons shoes when she did LC the same way several times. I know people like that who make plans with you and then turn around generally at the last second and say they are doing something else or won’t call. The feeling sucks and eventually I just stopped inviting them places to save myself the grief. To be honest you can’t exactly expect someone to show up for things you want to do, if you bail out of them a lot of times. Because even though you may not directly say this is more important that your actions say it.
Again, I think they are perfect for one another (Heidi and Spencer)but everyone needs some type of space away from each other. Our good friends and family is what keeps us going a lot of times.Life is way to short to hold grudges and I know if one of them wasn’t here tomorrow they would wish they would have done something differently. If Heidi can refrain from speaking with LC about her relationship, and LC can keep her comments to a min I think eventually LC and Spencer can get to the point in which they can at least tolerate being around one another enough so that LC and Heidi can continue to be somewhat friends. Maybe not so much the best of friends as they were before b/c they are both in two different stages of life, but enough so that they can still have that bond in their hearts. Trust me no one cries if they truly don’t have a place for someone in their hearts. LC is hurt and she has every right to be, but its not easy being a friend and good one’s are hard to come by.

Heidi quickly jumped into the relationship with Spencer after breaking up with her last boyfriend. Right now………she is blinded by love and doesn’t see through Spencer yet. He appears to be manipulative and controlling. Heidi craves love and attention and as her father says she disregards everything else that matters. Her feelings and her friends. Heidi needs to know that you can still have a boyfriend and your friends. You don’t give up on your own life because you have a man. She cannot claim spencers’ friends girlfriends as her friends. She has to really get it together. I noticed last season that she is very gullible when it comes to men.

Yes they show her writing and handing the letter to Lauren. But people forget what happened prior to this. Lauren had said she hadnt heard from Heidi since she moved out…
Even Heidi’s parents said she loses her friends when she gets a serious BF and she could beneift from having a goodfriend like Lauren.
I do hope in time they can move on and be friends again. But right now only way I see that being possible is her not being with Spencer.
I always wonder what Heidi is thinking when she view s the previous shows? Obviously nothing or she would be making changes!

I say Team Heidi! At first i was all for Lauren, but after seeing the beginning of this new season and seeing Heidi try…she is obviously a much bigger person! Yea she’s made mistakes with Lauren, but Lauren has done the same. If Lauren was a true friend she would have said what she had to say and if Heidi still wanted to be with Spencer, she should have accepted that and backed off and supported her. I can’t believe that I’m actually commenting on this, but it is driving me nuts! Just like most people I’m on “Team Lauren”, but there are so many things that are going on here. First, yes Lauren is right to say that her BFF’s boyfriend is a jerk, but she has to respect her bestfriend and what she feels is right for her (whether it’s right or not). People make bad choices sometimes, but they have to see it for themselves (you can always point it out, but it may not help) and make their own decisions. Secondly, Heidi is just like most women that become attached to men and have a hard time finding time for everyone (she will find that once the “newness” wears off of her relationship she needs to have friends of her own and time to herself). Lastly, I think that it was wrong that Heidi hadn’t called Lauren until she saw her at the club, if she really valued Lauren’s friendship than she should have called her and sat down with her sooner (she knew that the “rumor” was out there and for her not to call and talk to her friend and make sure that she was okay is just wrong). I wanted to write this once I saw the preview of the next episode where Heidi says that “Brody was the one to start the rumor”…so why didn’t Heidi say something to Lauren when it happened? Heidi is just wrong and she doesn’t deserve to have friends if that’s the way she treats them…sorry!

I can’t believe that I’m even commenting, but I can’t help it! I’m on “Team Lauren”, but I do think that she should have been more supportive of Heidi whether she agreed with the relationship that was evolving with Spencer, or not. Friends are supposed to tell you that you are being an idiot for dating a jerk, but once you’ve said it, it has to be over and you have to start just being a friend. You have to allow your friends to make their own decisions and no matter how much you disagree sometimes it’s not worth loosing your friendship over. Some women have problems having boyfriends and friends at the same time. Heidi will soon realize that she is going to need friends and good ones for that matter once the “newness” of her relationship wears off. You have to have a good balance of family, friends and your love. I think that it’s pretty terrible that Heidi couldn’t find the time to call Lauren (although I’m sure that she was thinking the same of Lauren), especially when the “rumors” were being spread…after all she did still want to be friends with LC, right? Doesn’t seem like it (to someone watching from the outside). And, if she knew who did it, why was she protecting them and not her friend? Not a good idea to choose your boyfriends best friend over your own. Good luck to these girls…hopefully they can settle their quarrels or just forget about it already, there are many people that will come and go in your life sometime letting go is just the right thing to do!

Actually Team heidi.. I believe that Heidi is the most charismatic of all the girls of the show, definetly the most sweet and open minded. Heidi is independent and is doing her stuff while Lauren seems to be more focused in the problems of their girlfriends. To be a good friend you do not necesarilly have to hang out or even talk on the phone all the time with your friends.Did not liked the way that lauren tretaed heidi, when she gave her the letter, Heidi went with GOOD intentions, that said a lot of lauren .. I actually seee the show because of Heidi.. and please Audrina do not feel sorry for leaving alone lauren to go and hang out with your man, Laure definetly needs a BOYFRIEND.. spencer has a long way to go in proving himself good for heidi, and that is not anyones bussiness but Heidis.

Team Lauren all the way! Heidi just lost one of the greatest friends she could ever ask for. Spencer hates Lauren and put Heidi in a situation for her to choose. Personally I think Heidi is a “very sad person” as Lauren would put it. She’s blind and a complete idiot. I don’t even know what she sees in Spencer. He doesn’t respect her wishes, he doesn’t embrace the person she can be, and he doesn’t treat her like a person. He’s his personal arm candy and she’s dumb enough to think that that is something. Team Whitney!! I think she is the only one that is totally low key and she doesnt have much drama in her life. But between LC and Heidi.. Im on Team Lauren. Heidi had been a rotten friend and because of spencer she doesnt have any of her girl friends left. I would love to see Brody split away from Spencer. I always loved Brody, until he started acting like Spencer, and maybe he could be a really good friend to LC.
