   I feel that both of them handled the situation wrong. They were both equally at fault, but because I expected Diddy's reaction, I knew there would be mess!!! I've never liked Diddy, I think he is arrogant, egotistical and self centered. He personality reminds me of something you would pick up off the street and wipe your A_ _ with it. He is a ledgend in his own mind, so I guess that's why it doesn't bother him if alot of people don't like him, he has enough of himself to keep him company!!!

   Hello Laurie Ann, they are just showing the first season of Making the Band 4 over here in Germany and I just saw that one episode where Diddy kicked you out! I cannot believe it, this is such a bs! I respect Diddy for all he has done for the music industry and as an African-American man, but the way he treats ppl is very uncool, softly-spoken. You were one of the reasons the show has been so successful and for him to act like that towards you was just shitty! I wish you all the best for the future, you definitely dont need that man, you are an incredible choreographer!!!

Laurie Ann was acting like the show was about her some of the statement that she made where uncalled for. She was like there would be no show if she was not there. Everyone knows that diddy is self centered.

   LA did what someone should have done a long time ago. Diddy got what was coming. It is only sad that it had to be a woman to read him. I was a big LA fan until this season. I did not like the way she treated the guys. I can appreciate what she was trying to do and why, but she went about it wrong. I wish her much luck in her singing career and I will watch her show. I just hope that she is able to back up her talk. Now thats the gotcha gotcha.
   She did the right thing in getting all she could get while she was in diddy's fold, but now she must spread her wings a fly. One thing we all know is if she can handle Diddy Hollywood hadbetter watchout!

It's cool to be proactive in your position and try to impress the boss, however, you hold the careers of these inexperienced men in your hands. Doing a one day step, Diddy knew, they couldn't handle. That's on Laurie Ann side but now on Diddy's side... He is kind of right because it's his show and you can't tell him how to do his own show... They paying Laurie Ann to work but if she wanted to quit then that was her lose of those BILLS... you crazy on that behalf...     Laurie Ann-Gibson has been one of my favorite choreographers since I started dancing. She was TOTALLY justified in what she did and if Diddy can't handle somebody challengin him for the first time in a long time then thas on his egotistical tail! Everybody else on the show walkin around like he God or somethin need to grow some backbone like Laurie Ann. Thas the only reason people don't like Diddy, he so cocky and for what? He ain't even half-talented. He get money moochin off groups he ain't even really make. Mike Biv, Laurie Ann, Ankh-Rah, Slam, THEY all made the groups. What he do? Shuffle some cards, yell, antimidate? He ain't nobody! We all know you was friends wit Biggie...SO WHAT!? You STILL ain't nobody!! You can't dance, rap, sing, produce and you wouldn't know style, talent, or gifts if it slapped you in the face like it needs to...So i say the HECK with Diddy...the HECK wit him...

    what i don't understand is why are you all so mad at puff, i mean laurie ann start getting the big head because he started giving her a little more duties, she was his assistant/choreographer so some of the things she said and did was not appropriate, when he asked her why she did not practice with the boys the whole week-end and she stated that they should be able to get in one day and that she was testing them, she was totally out of line, she had definitely overstepped her boundaries and the way she talked to the young man who quit was deplorable.
    
    also a lot of you state that you hate puff, that he arogant and full of himself and no talent, but the real is he has an abundance of talent and that talent is to sell and market himself, and it is people like you who buy it. even though you hate him you still buy sean john and secretly listen to his music you read the articles about him, i applaud people who get they swagger on full tilt, and make that paper. that is the american way, so even though you think he can't sing, dance, etc... he still clocking them dollars and i aint mad at him at all, matter of fact i wish he could tell/show me how to be down, i truly want some of them ends.

I dont see anyone complaining about the tasks and the risk factors involved in them. I think it was good Laurie Ann stuck up for herself, and you remained dignified also, if everyone else wants to hide in Diddy's shadow let them, only you know what your talents worth.

    my opinion of da whole situation is that firing Laurie ann was the best solution. the way she acted and what she said caused her to get fired. yea diddy was bein rude to her pretty much wit every comment he wld throw her way the whole season of MTB4, but i see it as treat those the way u wanna b treated. someone is mean to u, treat em nice and let em know that it aint gettin to you or be nice no matter what mean things they throw ur way and eventually they realize they cnt make u snap or step all ova u. if she had reacted in a nicer manner myb they could of resolved the situation and she wld of stayed. but i think laurie ann overstepped her bounderies by getting big headed and stating that without her there would be no show. she aint the only choreographer in the world or the best, a new and better one can always be found. also, i really wanna know her reason for not teaching the boys da routine over da weekend. did she rly have a hangover like someone said? was she jus being lazy? or was she really testing the boys to see if they could accomplish it in one day? if it was a legit reason then it should of been stated but obviously it wasnt. but then again this is diddy's show and she was his assistant/choreographer, meaning she worked for him. diddy is just at fault for how he handled the situation when she was yelling at him. cursing and hollering at her just didnt go to well. it jus added fuel to the fire. it would of looked better if he just handled it calmly and just said calmly your fired please leave or resolve the situation. but still does not give him da right to disrespect her, especially on tv. myb his money was blocking his thought process or sumthing i dunno but i know we all ppl regardless of how much money we got and we shld b treated wit respect. so what he asked of her should of been done. its diddy's show and he aint bout to get disrespected or shown up by any one.

    I am a fan of both artists. Diddy and Laurie Ann have many positive qualities that promote their success. However, in a business conduct, you can not be outraged by your own personal criteria. You must abide by the rules and regulations of the business/business owner. It is not that others around Diddy walk around like slaves. They abide by the rules set and are adaptive to changes. Laurie made a personal choice to test the boys. She is clearly passionate about what she does. I believe the boys will have to learn a routine in a similar situation. However, her objective was not requested by Diddy. She should not have done anything without permission from Diddy. Despite of how a person feels, if you have a problem, you address it professionally. That is where both Laurie and Diddy were wrong. As an employee, you must abide by the rules and adapt despite of personal views. As an employer, you must recognize your workers in utmost respect. Employees are selected as a loyal staff that actually helps the business grow. Without them the owner would not succeed easily. Everyone must be respected in order to grow in their personal/professional relationships. Everyone must be acknowledged for their efforts.

    is it just me, or did anyone else notice how much laurie ann gibson changed when she started teaching boys instead of girls? she wanted those boys to think of her as a sex kitten, she wanted the girls to respect her as an artist. it was def. werid how she would blurt things out and try to talk over diddy. she was for sure "going through something" during the taping of this show. as for diddy, bad move on delaying the choice for the band. i mean, who even cares anymore. i dont even remember the guys anymore. should have finished it up while we were all still interested and the topic was hot and fresh in our minds. now what, are you gonna play re-runs for 3 weeks until the finale plays. no thanks, im over it

    I just want to say that tv always cut out the things that are positive to let people see the negative. From my perspective of the situation I thought the Diddy was wrong and lost a great choreographer. There are good dancers but Laurie Ann made great dancers. I would have never thought and will never think that she would react that way. I still think she is the best and will always be, so keep your head up and look ahead because the highest things in life that you are reaching for will come down. AND YOU WILL SUCCEED!

    Well personally I think Diddy did the right thing when he let her go. She was becoming overbearing and acting as though the show was all about her. she was also very unprofessional in not keeping her word after telling Diddy that she would have practiced the guys for the weekend, she tried doing it in one day. I blame her for Julius' elimination because after that whole injury escapade where she pushed him too far, he lost his confidence.

    Kiki's comment on the 28th said it right (except 4 the lovin her part)... She was a #$$?% on past seasons, but within reason n methodically for a purpose. On MTB4 she was such a joke, a circus act of her real self going so overboard trying to steal the spotlight ..... Yeah of course she's not yelling at them 24 hours a day n we only get to see parts of the day on the show, but creative "editing" doesn't make you a bad person, it only brings it to the forefront. N Diddy didnt make a big scene or nething, he just asked her to step out and that was only in front of the guys and the few "judges". But he's Diddy for a reason. He's not gonna leave that ~?*% off the show & just tell the world she had to leave for personal reasons.... It was an dramatic story line that boosted ratings that still got us talking about it, which is what its all about in the end. Diddy wins another one.
